“Jesus is our WHY and wants to build his church with you”A single brick on its own may not seem like much, but a builder never constructs a house with just one. Using many bricks, the master builder creates a masterpiece. Jesus desires to build with you, you have something to bring.
”Present yourselves as building stones for the construction of a sanctuary vibrant with life, in which you’ll serve as holy priests offering Christ-approved lives up to God” 1 Peter 2:5
The church is the hope of the world. It is not irrelevant,unimportant or non-essential as the world or satan would have us believe. The Church is of great importance, essential and very relevant. It is time that we stopped worrying about how the world perceives us and stood up for what we believe and not be bullied and intimidated. It's time to stand up and fight, for God's Truth; for the lost and hurting; for the sick, for our families. For the salvation of those in the world. It's time to step out onto the battlefield in God's power and authority for the battle is the Lord's.
If you know who you are in Christ, Where you came from, Where you are going: Nothing will stop you from you from serving.
Just like our physical bodies, all parts are needed and vital. It's the same with the church when all parts are working together and doing their part, it showcases the heart of God and His plan for humanity, His plan to reconcile people to Himself. Do we believe that the church (the gathering that Jesus started) really is the hope of the world and hope for ALL people not just a select few. We are the church! We exist for the world!
We ask the questions - why do you come to church? Who's idea was church and what is the purpose?Ecclesia means assembly - an act of calling together a group by God to listen and act for Him. The church has always been God's plan to bring salvation to the world. The church is called to be the center of community - not sit on the peripheral. It's where we worship, pray and are taught. But just as important it's where we find family, community and our sense of purpose and belonging. Then our primary job is to take that out into the world where it is needed.
As we celebrate fathers everywhere, let us not forget our Father in Heaven who is gracious and kind! Join Ps Meagan in her father's day message where she goes through the parable of the prodigal son.
In one way or another, we humans have always prayed, whether we called it that or not. We are devoured by the need of something outside of ourselves, something beyond our reach, something spiritual or supernatural, a place to run to, to feel, however slightly, that there is something out there to cry to.Join Ps Meagan as she dives into the topic of prayer and keeping it ongoing, real & honest
Prayer is awesome. When you pray, you are stepping into the throne room of God. You are moving from the natural realm into the spiritual realm, into the very presence of our heavenly Father and our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
We are called to pray without ceasing. We have a relational God and you can't help but talk or pray to God when you are in relationship with Him. Prayer should be home as natural as breathing.
Your prayers are making a difference even if you may not be seeing it in the natural realm. In the spiritual realm God is doing immeasurably more than we can ask for or imagine.
Principle of the first is the most important message in the whole of the blessed life series. If you don't get this principle right then nothing else will be right. If God is first in your life, everything will come into order. If God is not first in your life then nothing will come into order. Nothing!
Let’s dive into how putting God first in your life allows God to provide for you in ways you never thought possible.
Tithing is a test which believers take every time we receive income and decide who will be given the first 10% of that income. Goo or man? Who are we going to thank and worship with our tithe? Tithing is a test; Tithing is Biblical and Tithing is a blessing. Tithing remains a principle of ordinary behaviour from God and an extraordinary opportunity for blessing and abundance for those with the faith to trust Him. As you give your 10%, God has promised to protect and bless the remaining 90%.
Did you know giving is actually connected to every area of your life! We see that giving is a heart issue! It’s all about the heart! Jesus says where your treasure is, there your heart will be!
As we kick off this series let’s look at 4 conditions of the heart when it comes to giving: Dealing with a selfish heart, Dealing with a grieving heart. Developing a generous heart. Developing a grateful heart. Giving is all about the heart!!
There are many things in life that we can be picky and choosy about such as what food we prefer and which we simply ignore or reject. Unfortunately we can have the same picky, choosy attitude toward the Word of God. By the time we pick and choose we have a drastically edited version of the Bible which fits comfortably into our own world view and accommodates who we think God is. However all scripture is God breathed and the Bible is an extension of God's will, formed out of His Spirit, in written form. As God has commanded us, we are not to add to or subtract from God's Word. Deut. 4:2
This month we kick off a new series “BEEF UP YOUR DIET” A series all about the word of God. We believe it is so important to BEEF UP your spiritual diet on the Word of God.
As our society and culture shifts around us we need to be STRONG, not wafers that get blown away in the chaos, in the beliefs and opinions of the world that are not built on the foundations of God and His word.
When you know the word of God, when you beef up the word of God in your life, when you increase it, when it becomes the very thing that you live and breathe by, that is what will become your voice and message to those around you. The words of truth will impact and advance in ways you never thought possible.
Finishing off the This is Me Series with God our Forgiver & Provider.
Forgiveness was the very reason Jesus was on the cross and just in case you wondered whether it was for you or not – Jesus words whilst nailed to the cross echo through time- FATHER FORGIVE THEM. Forgiveness is yours if you’ll receive it.
But also Jesus is God’s perfect and complete provision, the answer to every person’s deepest question and the fulfillment of their deepest needs. He can & will provide for all your needs.
In this series we explore who God is through the lens of the Lord's Prayer. From this prayer we have seen that God is our Father, our King and our Deliverer. He is also God our Protector, Provider and Forgiver. The Lord's Prayer also reveals that God is holy. Holy is your name God, you are holy. In the Biblical world, one's name represents one's character. It stood for a person's identity and authority. This is God's identity, this is who He is, Holy.
Imagine how many people you have knowingly and unknowingly influenced in your life so far. Whether we intend to or not, we affect others through our influence. How is your life influencing others with the powerful message of Jesus.

What does it truly mean to have rest? We constantly chase after this thing called rest. We wait till work finishes. We wait for the weekend. We wait for the holidays. We wait till we retire. To start off 2023 our theme for January is Sunday/Monday church,the purpose being to start the year off with our focus on living out Christianity everyday and not just on Sunday. To not be a Sunday Christian warming the pews and forget about Jesus for the rest of the week. Christians are not simply 'Church goers' we are God's children and since we are His children,we are His heirs and citizens of heaven. For now however,we have been planted here,in this time and in this place. And it isn't just by chance. Your life has God given purpose which was put into place before the foundation of the earth. So in everything we do in our lives let us do it for the glory of God. For we are the light of the world and should shine brightly. In the Parable of the Talents, Jesus shows us how to do this. We know that Jesus is in heaven preparing a place for us and one day He will return for us. However,while we await His coming we are not to sit around twiddling our thumbs for He has entrusted us with something of "great and immense value"(talent). It is the gospel Truth and your responsibility is to be faithful and increase.
So let us run the race set out before us so that like Paul we can declare, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
There really is something about that star, the star of Bethlehem that led the wise men to Jesus. Join Ps Meagan as she looks at the signals that God sends to each of us on the journey of life, to say I’m here and ready to guide you.

As we look at Jesus' parable of The Good Samaritan we see that believers are to love as Jesus loves with extraordinary, unconditional, arms wide open love which extends to ALL peoples. This is a love that the world desperately needs and God has entrusted to us. Are your arms wide open?
It’s Spring and we are starting a new series at TCC “Arms Wide Open” . How can we love those around us like God loves us? Our love for each other and the width in which we hold our arms open is an indicator of the position God is holding in our hearts.
Fathers and Mothers are heroes . We can think we don’t measure up we’re not much of a man but God tells a different story. He sees a different story and plans to prosper us.
When we follow God he makes us who we are meant to be as fathers and mothers . There are moments in our lives when we have inspired others and not even know it. So get up and step over the line!
John 14:12-14 Come boldly. As we will do the same things as him and he sent us His Spirit, ask anything in accordance with His will and He will do it so that the Father will be glorified. Don't come as a beggar, but as a son.

Our children are the future of the church! What kind of church are we going to leave them? How we serve and the church we build today, will be the foundation that the next generation use as a springboard to reach this community and see even more people exposed to the gospel.
Easter is about more than the chocolate eggs and the public holidays! We remember what Jesus did for us on the cross, but the story didn't end there. He rose from the dead and that is how we can have living hope.
