The My Journey Update series has changed to Where are They Now? This week we're catching up with John Gibbs. John is a renaissance man and you'll find out how this "jack of all trades, master of none" is fairing in his young adult life now in LA. John and Jeff discuss the uniquely difficult environment teens in Marin have to navigate. And big thanks to John for opening about his own unique journey through that world. The My Journey Update series has changed to Where are They Now? This week we're catching up with Charlotte Trotter. Charlotte grew up at Westminster, went to school at Redlands in SoCal, only to return to the North Bay at Westminster Woods in Occidental. What has Charlotte been up to all this time and what lessons and inspiration does she have for us? Find out!
Our guest preacher is the Rev. Dr. Joanne Whitt. Her sermon is titled, "Lose It to Find It."
Rabbi Paul Steinberg from Congregation Kol Shofar was our guest preacher. His sermon is titled, "The Myth of Happiness."
In place of a traditional sermon, we prayed for each of our graduating high school seniors during worship.
Our high school Confirmation class planned and led worship. Sophia Nowlen's sermon is titled, "Forgiving the You."
Bethany's sermon is titled "Taize."

Strat tells us why he still feels like a sophomore and what graduation and college is starting to look like for him and others this year. He explains how he found the "purpose of religion" during a crisis of faith while having a likely conversation about science and faith. He also talks about how handles questions about his faith now. Lastly, Jeff has Strat talk about the interfaith group he started at Branson and how it become a place for even non-believers to pray during the painful times of COVID.

What's it like going to a new school during COVID? Nicholas explains that and how the WPC youth group shaped his personal beliefs as well as his love for sailing. The pandemic also gave him one other gift - seeing God in nature, in others, and even in himself.

Markus has come down from his perch ruling over us as an elder (he's currently an elected leader of WPC) to talk about how he's found some good in his life during COVID. We learn through his story that maybe being forced into going to church every week isn't such a bad thing after all. We also hear about how miserably he would do in a wrestling match with God and how God is preparing him for life after high school.
