Chomp Cast is back for a second season! In the first episode, the ATH representatives for the 2020-21 school year introduce themselves, their roles, and the sports they play. In the second segment they talk about their goals for the school year and what they have been working on over the summer to prepare for what will be a very different athletic year. Go Gators!

It's the final installment of the Chomp Cast "Senior Night" episodes. By coincidence we saved some of the most successful spring season athletes in Chapin history, Olivia, Cindy, and Morgan, from the Badminton team, for last. Cindy and Olivia never lost a team match their entire career, starting in 8th grade! It was Morgan's first opportunity to play the sport and she talks about what she was really looking forward to this season. Cindy and Olivia talk about their favorite and which of their multiple AAIS championships is most memorable. Each of them discuss how they apply their success in badminton to other sports. Find out, too, their final thoughts to the questions of, is a hot dog a sandwich, is cereal a soup, and is cheesecake a pie. There is even some good debating about their answers at the end! In the sixth episode of Chomp Cast, the athletic department brings on the first senior Chapin softball players in almost ten years! Soona and Marley talk about what drew them to play softball in the return season to Chapin.  We find out both are key members of the Chapin band, The Kilts. Soona shares more about her musical background and passion for ice hockey. Marley "dives" into her love for swimming, how she's been in the water since she was 11 months old, and gives advice on how to avoid burning out in a sport.  Find out, too, if a burrito is a wrap sandwich. The fifth episode of Chomp Cast wraps up talking to the Class of 2020 Track and Field athletes. Alexandra and Iso chat with the Athletic Department and inform us about the difference between jumping over hurdles in the 400m and the steeplechase. While they use different techniques, both admit to channelling their inner horse to make it over! On top of that, Alexandra talks about her passion for surfing and Iso encourages young athletes to tryout running at an early age. Find out, too, if a cheesecake is a pie. Go Gators!

In the fourth episode of Chomp Cast, the Senior Night night series continues. This week the Chapin Athletic department speaks with Merel and Caroline about their lengthy Track and Field careers. Both of them open up about when they face adversity during a meet and give their advice to young athletes on how they each have handled it in their own way. Merel shares her Field Hockey story from Homecoming this year, and Caroline talks about her proudest individual achievement in her track career. Find out, too, if a pop-tart is ravioli. Go Gators!

In the third installment of Senior Night, the Chapin Athletic Department begins talking to the Class of 2020 Spring Season Track and Field athletes. This week features Emma and Melina who have a combined 10 seasons competing on the Track team.  On top of discussing their track achievements, Melina shares how her preparation for playing piano relates to the running the hurdles.
