I have a fascination with the world and a deep curiosity of the people in it. Over the past three years I've travelled around discovering individuals from all walks of life- from trash collectors to billionaires. We've interviewed on the streets of Amsterdam, the beaches of the Bahamas and the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. With over 400 interviews in the bag I've found that by giving others the opportunity to tell their story we see a rare glimpse of authenticity in this social media age. We decided why not take the show up a mountain on one of his trips, so we worked out how to strap them to our backs, got together some friends, and flew out to Kilimanjaro.

Dr. Thomas Dammrich has without question been one of the most important leaders for our industry as a whole during his tenure as President of the NMMA (national marine manufacturers association).
We traveled to Washington DC and after being chased by the Capital police (long story) we found a location to film this moment in time as he prepared to step down and retire.

At the beginning of the new year, we sat down with Andrew High of Luxury Law Group at the Lauderdale Marine Center Open House. Vela Code - a new code for every yachtsman
Dan Lenard of the renowned yacht design firm Nuvolari – Lenard embarked on a daring adventure: a transatlantic solo crossing in a 33 foot sailboat that he made from left over parts. He departed on the 20th January from Cadiz, Spain and arrived into Fort Lauderdale, Florida on March 3rd, some 14 days after his expected arrival due to low winds.
The challenge was not only that he was alone but he had no engine, no electronics, gps, log, compass or autopilot - his reason - to prove that it can still be done. That Pure Sailing is still attainable.
It was a voyage with a mission...
His intention is to use this act to highlight the plight of the seas. It is a rallying cry – an SOS to the entire yachting community to save our seas.
He wants to start a new trend, that you simply don't use single use plastics onboard a boat - with the intent that this becomes a fashion and people around the world will follow suit.
We met him as he made landfall in the United States.

Back in February at the 2018 Miami Boat Show, new recruit (at the time) to The International Seakeepers Society, Tony Gilbert broke down exactly what they do and why they do it. It's so true, often hunters are the biggest advocates for protecting the natural environment and the same can be said for boaters.
