Hello, greetings, and welcome to the #LovinLebanon Podcast. My name is Joe LePage, and I am the Communications & Community Development Director in Lebanon, Indiana.

We are kicking off this new initiative for several reasons…with the largest one being increased communication. Every two weeks, the city holds its regular Board of Works meetings. At these meetings, various department heads come to the podium, and share what’s going on in their respective departments. It’s informative, but merely skims the surface of what’s going on with the: fire, police, parks, engineering, planning, street and storm water departments, and community development departments.

The #LovinLebanon Podcast will go beyond the podium, giving listeners a closer, informal look at what’s going on within their community from a city perspective – but that’s not all.

The plan for the #LovinLebanon Podcast is to expand it to highlight area events, organizations, and establishments – highlighting anything – and everything that helps make Lebanon great.

#LovinLebanon Podcast episodes will be uploaded to the city’s website, Lebanon-dot-IN-dot-gov…with the hope to get the segments added to iTunes and Google Play…

Have an idea for a segment, or want to showcase your event or business? Drop an email to LovinLebanon@Lebanon.IN.gov to begin the conversation.
