This is a weekly podcast to highlight what is special about our school. We will interview students and special guest to hear their stories.
Amelia and Lina talk about the learner profile trait knowledgeable and interview two students about it.
This week we share our thought on the Learner Profile trait of Caring and we let our listeners know how we choose just right books.
In our final podcast of the 22-23 school year we have Arianna, Jackie, and Elayna reflecting on their fourth grade year. They also mention their photography unit which is wrapping up.
Amelia and Pierre discuss the learner profile trait of being knowledgeable. The first graders have been learning about maps. They have created maps and have learned how to read maps. They shared their knowledge with us.
We are interviewing the kindergarteners to learn more about their unit. The kindergarteners are learning about animal and plant life cycles. They share their knowledge about butterfly, frog, and chicken life cycles. Having live animals in the classroom is so exciting.
Arianna and Sophia Interview some third graders about being balanced and healthy. Our third graders and our 2/3 combination class are finishing their Healthy Habits Unit and shared some of their knowledge with us.
Amelia and Pierre interview kindergarteners to learn about transportation. Our kindergarteners have just finished their unit on transportation. Pierre and Amelia discuss the unit with four of our kindergarteners.
Amelia and Pierre interview several third graders to learn about the solar system and the up coming play, Vacation to Mars. It sounds like an exciting play and we are all looking forward to seeing it. Amelia and Pierre feel that the third graders are using their communication skills while singing and acting on stage.
Pierre and Amelia talk about the importance of being balanced. They realize it is very important when you are in the midst of a stressful project that has a deadline. They speak to several 5th graders who talk about their exhibition projects. The 5th graders presented their projects to the rest of the school Wednesday March 15th. The 5th graders shared a lot of good information that taught us how to maintain our wellbeing.
Ryan & Evan are interested in the importance of being Open Minded in school and life. They interview several of their fourth grade peers to learn about what they are curious about.
This week we have 2 new hosts, Evan and Ryan. They were interested in how students can practice the Learner Profile Attribute of being courageous while creating art. Second grade has been enjoying an art unit so Ryan and Evan decided to ask some second graders about their favorite artists, they discovered that these artists were risk takers when they chose their different techniques. They also learned how artists can inspire us to create our own art.
This week we are focusing on being knowledgeable. We have interviewed 6 of our first graders to learn a bit more about our weather. We hope you become more knowledgeable about our weather.

Today our 5th grade Environmental Exhibition group takes over the Podcast to advocate for a cleaner environment.
