Welcome back to The Deep Talk! Today I am joined by Eliza Day, artist and intuitive guide.

This episode explores the emotion of jealousy. We are often taught that jealousy is "bad" and that it's an ugly emotion. In reality, it's one we all feel at times. We dive into the root causes of jealousy, such as desire or shame, and how we can be more compassionate and kind to ourselves. We both also share our experiences with jealousy and how we navigate it today.

Welcome back to The Deep Talk! Today's episode is about why we need to surrender & let go and trust the process. It's something we all struggle with, but I truly believe that everything that is meant for us will find us — but it will require us to be authentic and ourselves along the way so the right things can see us.

What we talk about today:

  • The importance of doing our 50% of letting go (just as much as our 50% of effort)
  • What we are looking for is also looking for us
  • Why uncertainty can be beautiful
  • Why being our full selves is required — vs masking, hiding, fitting in — to find the things that want US
  • Releasing the timeline

How can we be "here" even more?

Come learn how to be a little more present and accepting of the way things are!

This topic is one that I have been passionate about for awhile. In college, I see so many men treat women with disrespect. It happens before and after college as well, but being in this environment has shown me the way men treat women in a new light.

The way men talk about women in songs, the way women are portrayed on social media, etc. We need to change how we are viewed and treated.

I share my stories today and dive into the way men talk to and view women.

I walk around my campus thinking that every laughing group is happy, every person who is smiling is loving life, and that my problems are the only ones that exist.

I started challenging this notion to realize that so many people struggle day to day in college and life. My roommate Claire joins me today to talk about being at college and experiencing the loss of her dad.

We all struggle. If we took a step back, we'd realize that we are all a lot more similar than we'd ever think.
