Each player plays the role of a historical based family based in Renaissance Italy. Wes Clark, your host, plays the Sforza family, which controls the Duchy of Milan and its territories. In this weekly addition of the Renaissance Game Podcast, Wes Clark bring you this weekly update on the game. In today's episode Wes discussed the offer to the Borgia family to "bend the knee" by the Southern Forces representative, the Adda family. Also, the King of Naples discusses the offer to the Borgias as well as House Montefeltre. Also discussed is the King of Naples discussion on the trade embargo between the Northern territories and the Southern territories and calls for a trade treaty to be created between the two. Then, BIG NEWS, the Pope of Rome, Rodrigo Borgia, resigns. Discussion of reactions to the news reverberate throughout all of Italy. Discussion then proceeds to the upcoming election of the new Pope. Cardinal's Caraffa and Sforza throw their hats into the ring. The Cardinals traveling to Rome are restricted to having only a maximum of 20 troops while traveling to Rome for the meeting of the College of Cardinals for electing the new Pope. House Montefeltre and Zampeschi discuss safe passage and adherence to the restrictions. Lastly, new player joins and is welcomed and two additional players are going to start soon.
