For all you dog lovers, Cyndi details the miraculous life of St Rocco, The Patron Saint of dogs, of those falsely accused, and most especially of the sick. St Rocco was nursed back to health through the miraculous care of a dog. Cyndi credits her nephew, Connor, who introduced her to this great Saint venerated throughout the entire world for the miraculous cures he worked during the time of the European Bubonic Plague.

A US Marine soldier wounded on the battlefield in Korea in 1950 wrote a letter to his mother while he was recovering in the hospital. In the letter he described the events as he recalled them. When Navy Chaplain Fr. Walter Muldy read the letter, he sought out and confirmed the authenticity of the account by confirming the detailed events with the soldier's mother, his sergeant in charge of the unit, and other members of the unit.
