Join Miami-based performance coach, nutrition specialist and speaker, Faheem Mujahid (Coach Fa) as he shares tools from his 15+ years in the health and wellness industry. This podcast consists of coaching sessions, celebrity and expert interviews and Book Club episodes.
During this episode Faheem explores the concept and value behind goal setting. While sharing his thoughts on the subject of goals he'll also leverage his experience to further deepen the value of his listeners.
So often we carry our powerful intentions and goals into another year/season/relationship expecting things to be or look different. It's almost as if we feel entitled to different experiences or improvements in our lives, careers, performances, etc without a change in behavior or action. We remove our responsbility to act differently, letting ourselves off the hook of change. Let's discuss. See Ball, Think Ball®
Welcome to the start of a new and expansive journey. The first of a powerful journey to come. Same energy and presence as before, more on brand. Sbtb, Faheem

As many individuals worldwide begin setting their eyes on the New Year and the potential promise it brings. Speaking into awareness, goals overlook or recently placed into view. It's easy to see how/why so many contribute most of their energy and hope to each year being different. Me, I've never been one to prioritize New Year's resolutions, however this year I only have one thing on my list to improve. DISCIPLINE.
The payoffs to resisting change: Podcast 40.9 - Why do we consistently play small in our lives? What are the unconscious beliefs and thoughts that play a huge role in our lack of fulfillment? Let's explore this together. See ball, think ball®
In today's Podcast, I explored the value of owning one's story. It's been my experience, that we often bring only pieces of ourselves into our current presence/lives. It's as if we evaluate our journey, unconsciously setting a level of qualifications for evaluating the worthiness and relevance of certain parts of our past/journey. The problem is, without landing powerfully into our personal stories not only do we miss out on a powerful opportunity to engage with our lives from a place of increased meaning, but we also fail to create space for self-acceptance. Rather an individual, Collegiate, or Professional Sports Franchise, we each create more meaning into our paths by establishing and owning our stories. Whenever we start our paths towards a powerful commitment, we underestimate or, worst, forget to consider the degree to which we invest emotionally, spiritually, etc. During this podcast, I'll discuss the four areas of commitment and how they play an important role in achievement.
I believe Champions operate by a different set of bi-laws. Where simpler minds see a fixed point, something that can't be challenged of adapted, champions see opportunity.
It's not enough to uncover knowledge, the magic comes in how's the knowledge is applied and practiced. Without practice, what's learned loses its meaning over time.

The importance of measuring core values & goals daily - The Faheem Mujahid Podcast Ep 04
As individuals and elite performers, we create long lists of core values & goals. We commit time and energy in pursuit of what we desire. Rarely do we consider exploring how these goals or values equate to our day to day routine. Imagine all we would be able to accomplish if only we created a system of measuring our commitment and success daily. Let's discuss.
Faheem
During today's podcast I'll explore what I call "The Fundamentals of an Effective Reset" and why I believe it's important. So much of our energy, effort and commitment focuses on the importance of Restarting our new year, new season, etc... however it's in the quality of one's Reset that we define the outcome of our preceding season. Let's discuss.
Let's explore the subject of goals. How often do you set goals? How often do you revisit your goal list? We all know that setting goals is important, but we often don't realize how important they are as we continue to move through life, profession, and/or career. Join yours truly as I share my story about the year I challenged a train to a race.
A new chapter! // How many times have you found yourself doubting or speaking poorly about yourself? How often do you spend hours, days & weeks second-guessing a decision rather than flowing in the direction of what you feel called to do?
What if I told you, you weren't alone? What if, instead of feeling singled out by your suffering, I shared with you this simple truth... you are not alone. Let's explore! Welcome home.
Often we find ourselves stuck within the lanes we construct. Instead of viewing ourselves as always expanding beingness. We limit our growth due to whatever restrictions we place or find value in. We get conditioned to playing small.
Let's explore.
I recently shared in a conversation with one of my favorite spirits when he mentioned he recently felt wronged by a close friend. After an intense back and forth conversation between them, instead of revisiting the potential hurt feelings or remaining wounds from the previous discussion, his friend chose to ghost him. (Disappear without communication aka - the path of least resistance) My client was ok with the possibility of their relationship coming to an end. He was ok with the changing of seasons if that what's indeed needed to happen. He decided to focus his energy on the collections of blessings & lessons gained throughout their friendship. // His only resistance showed up when he attempted to find closure on what happened. Although their relationship had dissolved, he still required the participation of another person to arrive at a place of closure. He felt his closure was stolen away due to the absent manner his friend decided to end things between them. // : The questions he and I poured into became, where do you go to find closure/peace when the option for both are not made available? How do you allow yourself to get beyond the hurt feelings, confusion, and frustration to begin the healing process? How do you find closure when what's required is taken away from you? How do you free yourself from needing that relief from someone else? // Our reality is that we exist in a world that does whatever we can to avoid conflict and/or the perception of conflict. Rarely will we come across individuals willing to display to courage and strength it takes to clearly and effectively communicate their feelings when met with their emotions. We reward those of us who avoid difficult conversations. We support running away from challenging moments and/or uncomfortable situations. The upsetting truth: that reality isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The more efficient you become at answering the above questions, the better equipped you will be when met with moments of needed closure. : Join the podcast episode as I share a personal, powerful moment in my life that required solo closure. "Short Breaths." are brief interviews. Interviews designed to highlight & celebrate the beautiful spirits existing within and outside of our mindful tribe. My desire with "Short Breaths." is to hold space for the collective healing power which exists within each & every one of us. : Who better to kick off our series of mindful "Short Breaths." other than @rawjucebarry. @rawjucebarry @rawjuce are not just meeting the challenges of our new pandemic normals; they're leading by example. During our conversation, @rawjucebarry shared the inspiration behind @rawjuce @bmarshall @thehouseofathlete quest to nourish our healthcare community's heroes. I was asked recently by several Breathe Life tribe members if I had plans to address the current racial climate existing within our country. These individuals shared their feelings regarding the importance of my message. How effective my platform, purpose, and words have been in the past for them. Due to the weight & impact of what was showing up, they wanted to hear from me. : When I was younger, I remember being memorized by the elegance, confidence, and delivery from key cultural leaders such as Malcolm X, James Baldwin. Their ability to speak to the pain of a people, while also instilling a sense of pride left me inspired. It wasn't long before I wanted to impact and inspire others on a much smaller scale in a similar way. I believed I could inspire people through the lane of consciousness, focusing my platforms, mindfulness events & energy towards the collective healing of humanity. Like most, the conversation around race has always presented its share of challenges. Whenever the conversation around race arrived, I usually felt ill-equipped to share my opinion & voice. Although I understood the powerful impact of racism on our country, I preferred to avoid the conversation altogether. : Due to my experiences, emotional triggers, the overall history & impact of racism, holding space for this discussion won't be easy. The subject of race and racism is messy; it's uncomfortable; it triggers things within all of us, no matter our race and background. : I now understand the importance of my voice in the space of racism. I now understand to be absent in this discussion is the same as being silence. I look forward to mindfully adding my energy, love, and presence to the collective healing and impact needed to promote lasting change.
Often when the topic of COVID19 enters the conversation, we arrive at how this moment has already impacted our current lifestyle. The changes and challenges we're experiencing, how we're adapting our new reality. Rarely do we explore our vision for re-entering the world. How this experience has altered the way, we view ourselves, purpose & work. What about this experience that will contribute the most to your development? In which ways has this experienced clarified your meaning? : During a recent conversation with a fellow coaching friend, she expressed how this season, like most, has caused her to adapt coaching platform. Whereas before, she would spend countless hours commuting for her in-person meetings. She was now being thrown headfirst into the space of virtual coaching. After experiencing and adjusting her sessions remotely, she realized the quality of her work and life increased. Her re-introduction goal is now to maintain a majority virtual coaching client base. : Her newly explored perspective so inspired me, I went on my journey to do the same. How can I love myself better by establishing more balance in my schedule? By limiting my intake, in what ways will it allow me to pour more into the clients & coaching I'm already servicing?
Due to the recent pandemic, our lives are literally changing in front of our eyes. Certain expectations, habits, relationships with ourselves and others are no longer valid reference points. For some, this moment will require a personal connection of self-worth, an upgrade in faith and a deeper source of resilence. The complete separation from the small "i" of self to the larger "I" of the whole. : I'm having conversations with friends, family members and former clients I haven't spoken to in years. Some of these conversations are leading to some major breakthroughs. Since the beginning of this experience, I personally know individuals who credit their growth solely to the uncertainty of this current unfolding. // Out of all the ways we'll be challenged throughout this experience, I believe the most challenging requirement lies in our ability to defind our relationship to this moment. : It's easy to fall into a space of fear, anxiety, sadness. It's easy to be annoyed by the interruption of your 2020 plans, to tap into a vitim mindset. For those closely impact by the lost of family members, friends, love ones...it's easy to feel lost and wronged by the timing & outcome. // : I can connect to all those emotions. I too initially shared a similar level of concern & fear. At no point do I believe in ignoring or not validating your real emotions and/or the real concerns you might have. // This moment is here, rather we believe we played a roll in its creation or not... We're in it now. The question becomes, now that we're sharing this collective suffering... in which ways can we promote the collective healing needed? How can we individually promote a relationship of gratitude..even in these trying times? Which tools/lessons are you committed to taking a pouring into the next chapters in your life? Let's Breathe Life into this subject. Breathe Life®
During a recent conversation with a client/friend the subject of mindset cam up. He and I began to explore, all the areas of his life to determine which mindset ruled the supreme. : We uncovered that for him, his life was unquestionably ruled by his fixed belief system. As a result of his fixed mindset, where others saw opportunities for feedback & growth, he viewed them as moments of judgment. Doing whatever he could to protect his ego. Experiences that might have potentially lead to major growth and/or unfolding for him were instead placed on the "Do not distrub list." : How many of us battle with a similar story? How many of us spend moments of our lives challenging/improving ourselves through growth opportunities or do we find it much easier to judge and limit ourselves? : Inspired by our conversation, I went on a personal journey to explore honestly & openly what approach and mindset I had on all the areas in my life. Where I once believed, ONE Mindset rather Fixed or Growth would take precedent over everything. I quickly discovered the ignorance in my understanding. : Let's Discuss. // Full Episode: Breathe Life Podcast. Breathe Life®

Hey Tribe!!! Today's discussion begins with a simple question, Can we shift an experience we're having by simply moving our awareness into a different level of consciousness? One of my all-time favorite spiritual teachers Wayne Dyer would reference actually entering into situations that felt heavy with negativity and by merely bringing his awareness into said experience, he was able to shift the entire experience for himself & others. // Join me as I unpack a recent situation I found myself in and how shifting my mindset made all the difference. Are you living an authentic life? Believe it or not, that question comes up during most of my work as a life coach & meditation teacher. Studies show on average, majority of humans beings today don't feel they're flowing in alignment with their authenticity. In fact, many of us are chasing goals, careers, relationships and lives others expect from us instead of following our own inner guidance. How do we reverse our default mindset of inauthenticity in exchange of an AUTHENTIC existence. Let's discuss. / Breathe Life®
"What we’ve been able to uncover is a sense of an under belly of community that’s ready for it. This is the time where so many people are practicing mindfulness, even kids. There’s a thousand percent increase in kids who are meditating since 2012. As those kids grow up, like the Dalai Lama said “If we can teach all kids to meditate by their eight birthday, we’ll wipe out war within one generation. Our idea; we might not be able to get to them by/before eight, we can get them at 18 to 22 and give them skills and resources that help." - Dr. Eden Goldman : Since the moment I came into consciousness of this mindful movement @collegeyogaday I’ve been inspired not only by the work & value it’s bringing to the lives of students, faulty staff & universities & around the globe. I was equality impressed and inspired by the individuals with whom the movement manifested from. To say these two beautiful beings radiate love would be an understatement. “ I think just being transparent, just try to be vulnerable. I think vulnerability is something that everyone really has to practice doing, it’s an ongoing practice for me every single day. I try to be vulnerable in every single aspect of my life. I think vulnerability is hard but once you reach that point you’ve gotten to the root of what you’re really trying to say.” - @valerialvaarez / To say I enjoyed my recent discussion with Valeria Alvarez, would be a huge understatement. This amazing spirit is up to some power things within our beautiful Miami community. I constantly find myself drawing inspiration from her willingest & impassioned pursuit to create platforms and opportunities for others to share their authentic voice, power & most importantly their stories.
I believe we each have a Threshold on the level of faith we do or do not have. I also believe certain moments in our life cause us to either melt under the pressure or level up our degree of faith. Let's discuss.
Let's talk about presence. In my experience, I believe we're all looking for ways to increase the presence in our lives. As with everything, there are varied opinions on how to arrive at a place of presence. Let's pour into it.
EmpathiC • We currently exist in an Empathy Crises. Although most individuals desire to be more empathic, they get easily distracted. When you get placed into present moment awareness rather it’s through Ketamine, mushrooms or any other form of psychedelics, you instantly become more empathic. If we can do that, we can solve any problem really that exists. - ZAPPY ⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️ : : If like me, you geek out on conversations about present moment conscious, the different stages of consciousness. In general, my daily mode of operation is for sure seeing my life as a much longer gain and work of art than just a snap of a moment in time.” @matthew__sherman : If you’re blessed to know this beautiful human-BEing, you know that although his purpose/work might evolve, the impact his legacy leaves on the hearts & lives of others will always remain that of legions. // ⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️ : I feel honored to have been able to share @matthew__sherman wisdom, passion but most importantly his love with the rest of my mindful @thebreathelifetribe tribe as we discuss flowing into the ever-expanding unfolding of purpose. - - Breathe Life®️ :

DARK MODE! Part 2 ⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️ : Believe it or not the 5 am wake up runs weren’t the most difficult part. The adaptation process of working out for six days straight, three of those being two days was the most difficult part. Individuals, books & more we lean on for inspiration and insight when we need an extra boost of support.
Together we'll explore a meaningful discussion around the importance of living an Authentic life.
The importance of loneliness cannot be understated. I recently came across a study that inspired my recent commitment to creating an experience in our community called "Tribal Talkz™". Let's create the world we desire, a world that promotes connection and community.
We all have the ability to create our own reality through the way in which we perceive our experiences. Our power comes from limiting those experiences to those moments and not allowing the residue to stain the lens we view the rest of the world.
In one of my recent reads, I came across a powerful statement from the amazing author Gary Bishop. His comment related to the highly used quote "Change your thoughts, Change your life" needless to say he wasn't too impressed by the idea and impact of this quote. In fact, he believed it's our action, not merely our thoughts that ultimately impact our lives. Originally I was taken aback by his comments however after reading the rest of the chapter I learned to better appreciate the wisdom behind his point of view. Although I still don't agree with his logic, it made for a awesome read.
The power of the words. I believe one of the most impactful ways for us to increase the amount of joy, fulfillment & abundance in our lives is through our ability and awareness to stay mindful of not only the thoughts we lease our mind to but also the words we consume daily.
Rather it is the lyrics to our favorite song, the constant news coverage or the seemingly innocent conversations we have with others, we become the words we entertain and consume. In an effort to start creating the life & legacy you desire, mind your words.
The beautiful journey back to home. Hey Tribe! I'm so excited to be back in the lab with my Breathe Life® tribe.
