Born and raised in Oregon, Lisa joins OCF following an illustrious career that has taken her from working on rural poverty with the Ford Foundation to serving as an Under Secretary for Rural Development in the U.S. Department of Agriculture, managing a $215 billion loan portfolio, to most recently leading Opportunity Finance Network.
Lisa told Dawn, “There's a thread of kindness, hope and optimism that runs through this state, that combined with a willingness to work hard, together, will help us address some complex challenges and help communities thrive.”

Matt is a brilliant & knowledgeable speaker, backing up his statements with facts & his personal, "boots on the ground" experience of his work with the homeless in his community.
Denise LaBuda, with the Council On Aging, talks about where to go for free, unbiased help buying Medicare supplemental insurance with help of SHIBA (Senior Health insurance Benefits Assistance) volunteers.

Born in Bend, OR, Josh Gage brings experience from a diverse background to his work as a counselor, currently serving in Central OR; trained in EMDR & Brainspotting. Josh is a 14 yr Veteran of the U. S. Navy included serving as an MP, with deployments to Iraq & Africa. Currently working with Veterans & their families through Central OR Veterans Ranch, Still Serving Counseling, The VFW & is a graduate of the American Military University & University of Louisville. Josh formerly served as a Deschutes CO Client Advocate, a Parole & Probation Officer.
Dart Eastwood, a volunteer with Shepherds House talked about the new Bend year round nightly homeless shelter and Redmond homeless shelters, with a focus on how the community can participate in helping provide nightly meals using the online app Meal Train. Houseless people are not less or different than housed people. Working together we are far more successful.
