The panel gives our post-fight reaction to Canelo Alvarez's clear-cut, unanimous decision victory over challenger Jermell Charlo. The fight took place Saturday night, Sept 30 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It was clearly Canelo's night as he cut off Charlo's movement, landing power shots at ease, and even dropping Charlo with a straight right in the 7th Round. The official judges had it 119-108, 118-109 and 118-109.

In Episode 70, we review the 8/21/2020 Welterweight championship between 8-division titlist Manny Pacquiao and bronze 2008 Olympian from Cuba Yordenis Ugas. In Episode 42, we review the action packed WBSS finale between Bantamweights Naoya Inoue and Nonito Donaire. With the unanimous decision victory, Inoue unifies both IBF and WBA titles. Although all 3 judges had it for Inoue, it was not a landslide victory for Inoue. Donaire gave Inoue arguably his toughest fight of his career, imposing his power and handspeed. We assess the performances of both fighters.
We also touch upon Top Ranks household Super Featherweights in Miguel Berchelt and Jamel Herring. Both men had separate fights 1 week apart in early November. Berchelt made his 6th defense of his WBC title over Jason Sosa via 4th round KO. Week later, Herring defended his WBO title against fellow American Lamont Roach via decision. We take a look at a possible unification match between the two champions.
Later into the episode, we discuss Devin Haney's performance in his undercard fight for KSI vs Logan Paul and provide our late review of Canelo vs Kovalev.
In Episode 41, we bring the tricks and treats out as we review the WBSS Junior Welterweight Final between Regis Prograis vs Josh Taylor. Taylor defated Prograis by majority decison (114-114, 115-113, 117-112) in this possible FOY candidate. We assess what went right for Taylor and what went wrong for Prograis in this unification battle.
Later in the episode, we react to Shakur Stevenson's virtually dominant win over Joet Gonzalez. With UD victory, Stevenson wins the vacant WBO Featherweight title (previously vacated by Oscar Valdez). We preview what's possibly next for the newly crowned featherweight champion.
Lastly, we provide our final preview of the upcoming megafight between Canelo Alvarez and Sergey Kovalev.
In Episode 40, we review the fights of Gennady Golovkin vs Sergiy Derevyanchenko and Errol Spence Jr vs Shawn Porter. Despite Derevyanchenko's valiant efforts, Golovkin successfully defended his IBF Middleweight title by way of UD Decision, with 2 judges scoring it 115-112 and a 3rd with 114-113. To mostly everyone's surprise, Derevyanchenko made the match-up a very tough fight for Golovkin with his countering, combinations to the body, and high rate of jabs. Golovkin stayed the course as he landed a high percentage of power shots, one of which knocked down Derevyanchenko in the opening round. We give our assessment of the fight as well as our thoughts on Golovkin's shaky dominance in the Middleweight division.
We also react to the news of Errol Spence Jr's unfortunate car accident that occured in the early AM hours in his hometown Dallas. How will he fare in his 1st fight since the accident?

Coming off a hard fought win over Steve Villalobos last August, Cobbs has set his sights on bigger fights in the very near future. We discuss what's in store for The Flair, his rocky journey to becoming a fighter, and more!
We review the following fights: Sergey Kovalev vs Anthony Yarde and Vasyl Lomachenko vs Luke Campbell. Yarde put up a valiant effort against Kovalev, as he almost had the esteemed veteran on his last legs by the end of Round 9. Kovalev, with experience on his side, turned the tables around by Round 10 and resumed to punish the energy depleted Yard with piston jabs. Eventually, Kovalev would KO Yarde in the 11th with a counter jab. The panel assesses the performances of both fighters as well as their next steps in their respective careers. Does Kovalev go for the big payday in facing Canelo Alvarez or unify with one of the other champions in the Light Heavyweight division?
Like Kovalev, Vasyl Lomachenko had a game opponent of his own in Luke Campbell in their 12 round showdown. Campbell made it a highly competitive fight for Lomachenko as he was able to stun The Matrix in some of the exchanges. However, Lomachenko would prove to be too skillful as he hurt Campbell multiple times to the body leading to him taking a knee in the 11th. Lomachenko now wins his 3rd belt in his 4th weight class. How further can Lomachenko go in the Lighweight division as the likes of Teofimo Lopez, Devin Haney, and Richard Commey make more buzz?
In Episode 37, we review the WBA Welterweight Championship fight between Manny Pacquiao and Keith Thurman. At age 40, Pacquiao displayed one of this year's best all around boxing performances. A jab knockdown in the 1st round and a piercing body shot in the 10th were Pacquiao's biggest highlights from the PBC PPV event. In the early rounds, Thurman had trouble with Pacquiao's deceptive jab, which made him vulnerable to follow up attacks such as the Filipino's straight left and hooks to the body. Halfway into the match, Thurman capitalized on Pacquiao's fatigue to better time his jabs and counter right hand. Thurman's late momentum wasn't enough to overshadow Pacquiao's standout rounds in the 1st and 10th and competitive rounds that the judges awarded the Senator.
We also remember the recent passing of Pernell "Sweet Pea" Whitaker and Maxim Dadashev.
Lastly, we preview Maurice Hooker vs Jose Ramirez as they unify their 140 lb titles (WBO, WBC).
