We don't know when we'll get to travel again; for now, let's be content with finding adventure at our doorsteps and recounting past excursions. Here's one from Kun and Kels in Sarawak, some three years ago.

The elections may be over, but political fever is still abuzz here in Singapore. In the second of our two-part series (created before polling day), we chat with public relations practitioner Joel Lim, who has been tirelessly dissecting the sights and sounds of the nine-day digital campaign. Have a listen, then pop over to his Instagram account @limxjoel, where the action happens!

Singapore goes to the polls in a few days! The hustings have gone digital-first this year and young Singaporeans, too, have taken to political social media in droves. Some have launched vehement debates, while others put together e-resources for voters. In this first of a two-part series, we talk to Megan and Leia, two not-yet-voters, who have created a website that gives you the low-down on parliamentary elections and political parties in Singapore. *We regret the jittery audio due to connection lapses.

“Phase 2 is here!

The day you longed to hang with friends has finally arrived!

A few days have passed and you are still cooped up at home. Then, lo and hold… You saw on social media that 5 of your friends had a gathering and you were uninvited.”

In such a situation, what words can you use to express your disappointments but without sounding too offensive to your friends?

Warning: This podcast is less than a minute long and it is entirely fictional.

Enjoy :)

Hey you:  Yes, you! Stop eating your lunch/meals for a second, can? I tell you hor, Kun and Kels are launching a new series called “Singlish Attack” today!!!

This series is for both the Singlish noobs and the pros... Enjoy! In this very first episode, Kels was really bored during the circuit breaker and blabbered a series of complaints on a Public Holiday.

Phew, we've survived Singapore's partial lockdown, also known as the "circuit breaker," for the past eight weeks! Props to our resilience. As the country gradually eases out of restrictions, Kun and Kels chat with friends from different walks of life – a speech therapist, a migrant worker, an expat, a hawker, a housewife and a photographer – about how they've spent the past weeks and what they miss most during these strange times.

This was one of our earlier experiments – Kun and Kels collected sounds from their respective apartments on two ends of Singapore, which we then mixed into a short soundscape. This was also published on the Pandemic Silence Project.

How do we listen well, in this age flooded with noise and voices – sometimes our own – clamouring over one another? We discuss this with our dear friend, and professor-turned-pastor, Edward Sim.
