Some have lost their fight, others are in the wrong fight, but Jesus tells us of a good fight that has been fought and won on Calvary!
By faith in what Christ has done at the cross, sin’s debt is paid, it’s power is broken, and the sin nature is silenced. There is freedom in Christ!
These are days of great warfare. The Spirit of God is raising a triumphant church to storm the gates of hell and reap a harvest of souls for Christ!
A message on God’s calling on fathers, the desperate need for godly fathers, and what the role of that father is.
Sunday night discipleship. In this lesson we taught on the subject of sanctification, how to live for God, and how to have victory over the power of sin!
Our first lesson from our foundation discipleship class on the topic Justification By Faith.
Teaching from Romans 12, The Word of God tells us not to conformed or shaped by the world, but to be transformed by God’s power. This is an ongoing process where The Spirit of God molds our life and character to be like JESUS! Tune in!
The early disciples were sure of their fellowship with the Father and the Son. That was the fellowship they invited the world into. God’s longing is to have fellowship and communion with His children. Hear HIS call today!
We are running out of time. Most are not ready to meet God. We have an appointment with the Living God and most are not ready. Much of the church is cold and backslidden. God calls us to redeem the time we have and make the most of every opportunity.
In these times of crisis, God is raising up an army of intercessors to stand in the gap and pray for the lost and backslidden. He is also preparing a host of “restorers” who will live and act as the Good Samaritan and being healing to the broken.
In the midst of a hopeless situation, God asked His messenger to preach to dead bones, and those dry bones became a living army! Today God is calling His people to stand and declare the Gospel and call those dead in sin to come to Christ and have life!
The first thing that God did after the death of Jesus Christ was tearing the temple veil that separated God from humanity. This shows us the great desire of God to have access to us and for us to have unhindered access to Him. In seeing Jesus, everything else is put in its proper place. It is our prayer that Christ is being unveiled and revealed in our lives so that the world will see Him!
When Jesus is seen clearly, praise and worship erupts from our hearts. Grace flows into our lives bringing power to serve Christ and live new lives. The Bible tells us that our faith WORKS by LOVE! When Jesus is seen clearly, true love is poured into our hearts because He first loved us! Who can so no to such a wonderful Savior? Serving God is not a checklist to complete but a life to be out of a heart filled with love!
Religious men sought to destroy the Life of Jesus when He walked this earth. He was entirely different than them and His followers were different from those who followed the religion of their day. The Life Jesus produces is wonderful, it is freeing, and it is lasting. He came to bring life and bring us into a relationship with His Father. Let the veil be removed, take the religious masks off, and let us see Jesus and be changed by His glory!
The plan of God was to pay the sin penalty of humanity and give man access to enter the presence of God. Our bibles tell us that we, the church, have been made to be God’s temple and dwelling place. God calls us into His presence, beyond the veil, to reveal Himself to us. What an invitation!
In this message we looked at the importance of God’s love being received, returned, and reflected in our lives. For those in the body of Christ that allow the Holy Spirit to produce and mature this agape love, God opens doors of ministry. God reaches through them, speaks through them, and reveals Jesus Christ through them. Tune in!
There is a great call of God upon believers to be enlisted into battle and to fight as good soldiers equipped in God’s armor. This battle is unique in that it’s not against flesh and blood but spiritual darkness. The soldier is to find His strength in Christ and every piece of his armor reminds him of the Savior Who was slain to make him victorious.
True believers are called to be soldiers of Jesus Christ. The grace of God is to be the strength of the soldier to enable him to endure hard and difficult days. In this message we looked at the call of God to make us soldiers and the grace provided through the cross of Jesus that empowers us to fight a good fight. 2 Timothy 2:1-4
Bible teaching from the book of Philippians. As we are taught by the word of God to be content in Christ and find our completion in Him, the Holy Spirit produces a heart that in constantly giving thanks to God for such a great and full salvation.
Jesus is leading His flocks to green pastures and still water so they may flourish and grow! Grab your bibles and come along!
Gospel preaching from the Book of Jeremiah chapter 18
Calvary Chapel 10 AM Service
Pastor Luke Pogue
The Apostle Paul warned that in the last days the church will be occupied by those who have an outward appearance of godliness but deny the power of God to change them on the inside. Man’s religion can change the external appearance of its followers but it cannot take away sin and give them new life. The gospel of Jesus Christ changes those who believe from the inside, and when God is at work on the inside- you can see it on the outside!
In this message we looked at Paul’s description of the end times, how to tell we live in them, and how to keep from being swept away in the apostasy that carries multitudes away. We pray you’ll hear this urgent message from God’s Word!
The enemy will attempt to bring fear and steal our faith in God’s promise. In our darkest hour God will come through and keep His Covenant!
Jesus Christ is the foundation of the House of God. He is the cornerstone rejected by men but precious and chosen by the Father. All within the House must be aligned with Christ.
A continuing teaching on the liberty that is available to believers through the cross of Jesus Christ. Tune in!
As believers we must stand the faith of Christ and His sacrifice which brings freedom from the bondages of sin and also freedom from the chains of religion. This is a power message that all should hear! Help us share this great Gospel with a lost and perishing world!
We pray that you will take the time to hear this gospel message and allow God to speak to you through His Word.
Jesus cleansed the temple at the beginning and at the end of His earthly ministry. He was jealous for the pure and undefiled worship of His Father. God no long lives inside buildings, but rather inside of the born-again children of God. We are His temple. Just as the temple of old, our lives can become infected with thieves who would rob God of His glory and rightful place in our lives. There’s only one man who can cleanse the temple, His name is Jesus! Let Him cleanse yours and make your life His temple.
The scriptures tell us that our God will cause us to always triumph in Christ. There no reason for believers to be defeated in any battle or to be overcome by any bondage. Victory is available and victory is possible for all of God’s children who will trust in the victory Christ has won for us at Calvary!
Storms are not meant for the believer’s destruction but rather aids in sanctification as the storm causes us to seek and draw nearer to the Savior. We pray that the message ministers to you and helps you grow in dependency upon Christ while you pursue His will for your life.
Continuing our teaching from Ephesians 4 putting off the old man and putting on the new. Tune in!
Part 2 of a teaching from the Book of Ephesians chapter 4. The scriptures tell us to put of the old man just like taking off an old tattered garment. Provision has been made through the cross of Jesus Christ to lay aside that old man, the person that we used to be dominated by sin, and put on the new man that has been created in the likeness of God in righteousness and true holiness! Tune in!
God sees 2 men. 1. The first man Adam, in whom all of humanity fell out of right relationship with God. 2. The Lord Jesus Christ, in Whom all men may find Salvation and Redemption. In Christ we have the opportunity to put off the old man in Adam, and put on the new man in Christ!
Many followed Christ for the fishes and loaves He fed them, others followed Him in order to see some sort of sign. He tells them that all of these things perish, but there is Bread that never fades away. There is Bread that brings life that shall never be lost. Jesus is that Bread, His body broken on Calvary is True Bread, His blood poured out is True Drink. The one who makes this the object of their faith shall never die and shall live the abundant life in Christ!
Sin and rebellion robbed God of His rightful place of being king and Lord in the hearts of men. Redemption is much more than hoping to go to heaven one day. It is bringing King Jesus back to the throne of our hearts to rule and reign in righteousness! This message will put a yearning desire within you to surrender totally to Christ and give Him to rightful place He requires in your life.
Jesus Christ told this particular church that they had a name that they lived, but He found them to be dead. The Holy Spirit wasn’t moving or operating to make Christ real. The true Gospel wasn’t being declared under the anointing of the Spirit. This message is about the Spirit of God desiring to operate through God’s church: The Body of Christ.
Jesus address to a church that had begun to compromise the true Gospel and mixed it with error. He desires purity in His bride and made provision for His church to be a pure church. Tune in to this message from Pastor Luke Pogue Calvary Chapel Eupora Ms.
Our study on the 7 Churches addressed by Christ in Revelation chapters 2-3. The Church at Smyrna was the persecuted church, faced with bitter hatred and opposition. They were called by the Master to remain faithful unto death and they received the crown of life. Hear this message from Pastor Luke Pogue Calvary Chapel Eupora Ms
God’s great work of grace to form Christ in the lives of believers Gal 1:15-17 Gal 4:19
Beginning our study on the 7 churches Jesus addressed in Revelation chapters 2&3. The first church, Ephesus, was a church that was commendable in many areas. They labored, hated evil, had discernment, and worked for the cause of Christ. However, one serious problem was that they had left their first love. They no longer loved Christ as they once did. Jesus warned that if they didn’t repent, He would remove their candlestick. How about you believer? Do you love Jesus today as you did at the first? The Holy Spirit desires to renew and rekindle, the Love of Christ in the hearts of His people. Tune in and listen to this message from Pastor Luke Pogue!
A rock was smitten in Exodus 17 to provided water to a thirsty multitude. The Lord Jesus Christ was smitten on the cross to provide living water to thirsty souls!
The truth of justification by faith is paramount to the Christian life. The Apostle Paul clearly explains this great truth in the fifth chapter of Romans. This teaching will help believers understand the great victory we possess in Jesus Christ and allow us to walk in assurance that we are right with God. Tune in and listen to the true Gospel message!
There is nothing worse than counting on something to be true, only to find out that is was false. What a tragedy it would be to believe we had a true Salvation and find out too late that we'd been deceived. Nothing is more important than your Salvation. Do not settle for counterfeit religion, come to Calvary, let the old man die, experience the real thing in Christ Jesus!
The True Gospel Message is easy to understand. The Holy Spirit is working in the earth today to remove the blinders of sin and darkness, that the world and the church alike may see Christ and His glorious cross. This message will be a blessing and bring understanding to you and your walk with Christ.
The true gospel message is so simple, a child can understand it. Simplicity in our walk with the Lord is maintained when our focus is upon Christ and His sacrifice. Confusion only comes when we began to look to ourselves and think more highly of ourselves than we should. The power of God is in the simple truths of the cross!
In Christ Jesus, we have a Great and Heavenly High Priest Who can be touched by our infirmities. No matter the pain, hurt, sickness we feel, He feels it deeper, He feels it more. In the cross, God has given us a bold assurance the approach His Throne of Grace to obtain help and mercy in times of need! Call out to Jesus, He is very near!
Often we find that God's promises do not arrive over night. As believers, we must learn to stand in faith and patience while we endure the trials that come. Most believers can see their own lives in the life of Hannah. "Lord remember me" was her prayer! God did not forget her but made good on His promise! Keep on fighting the fight of faith and He will not forget you!
Gospel preaching from Numbers 13. In the Old Testament, the inheritance was a literal Promised Land. Under the New Covenant the Land is In Christ Jesus. God desires us to fully possess this Land, not just parts. Unbelief can cause you to stop short of God's best and leave you to wander in the Wilderness of Sin. Place your faith in Christ, the Redeemer, The true giant slayer, and possess the Land God has for you!
Warning to those attending Winter Jam 2015 thinking it is a Christian event!
Be not deceived: for many shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. Luke 21:8
