Streamed Shakespeare is a Sydney-based group of actors and creatives who have been livestreaming a staged reading of one of Shakespeare's plays every Sunday during the COVID-19 outbreak.. We now have performed a different play every week since March and have expanded into a community of creatives from all around the world. As we expand into performing rehearsed shows once a month instead of our weekly readings we are endeavouring to also produce a series of roundtable podcasts.
The second instalment in our STREAMED SHAKESPEARE ROUNDTABLE brings together Alex Perritt, the director of our recent reading of The Tempest, Geoff Sirmai and Camille Tovee to discuss Tempest, Hag-Seed (the modern retelling of Tempest by Margaret Atwood) and Shakespeare adaptations.
