We have to equip ourselves with tools that will enable us to move past the "crap" and live a relatively happy existence.

The world is a very complex place and people are complex as well. These complexities can exacerbate issues with mental health. This is an issue that I do not believe gets enough attention to garner the support that individuals and families need to combat it. The days of people slipping through the cracks need to end and we as a society need to do our part, EVERY ONE OF US so that we become a healthier happy world.

One of the most vivid memories I have as a child is the racism I experienced being a child of color growing up in predominately white environment. I had all kinds of racial slurs hurled at me and had absolutely no idea what they meant. This blissful ignorance I had I credit to my parents who were in no way racist. How did I become who I am and have the outlook I have at life today?

This Podcast has been in the making for some time at the request of some very dear people and my husband. I have FINALLY decided to take on the challenge because, hey, why not?
I live in world that has just about everything I need to be happy. The secret to this is, I have CHOSEN to be HAPPY. My Grandfather said something to me when I was a little girl that has stuck with me my entire life, "If you can not have what you want, WANT what you have". THIS amazing saying I have repeated over and over and today I am living a life that I have intentionally planned for myself and the people who love me!
This Podcast explains how I do that through, setbacks, heartaches and disappointment. Here you will learn a little about dealing with some of the darkest things in life that some people sadly could not overcome. AND you will learn a little bit about WINE!!!!!
