Paul turns his attention to the contrasting behavior patterns of stealing and sharing . The old man steals ; the new man shares. Put off the old ;put on the new!

James 1:22
Be doers of the word , and not hearers only: Believers who hear the word of God must receive it with a teachable spirit, applying it to their daily lives. To hear and not obey is to be deceived.
But prove yourself doers of the word .
Common- Example
When children sometimes listen to parents and ignore what they say and instruct them to do.
Its kinda like when we read God's word and what it say in the Bible and not act like it.
Our actilns reflect what we are hearing.
When we honor God. God will honor our actions to please him for his glory.
Let us think about the results because of our actions when we elect pleasing God.

Trusting God is the only way to have real hope.
God always gives us reasons to hope. To expect something with confidence and trust.
God has promised to take care of you and we can expect God to do so.
Jesus Christ became a servant to the Jews for two purposes(1)to confirm God's promises to Abraham, Isaac,and Jacob; and to demonstrate God's mercy to the Gentiles so that they might glorify him.
Remings......:Paul did not write to teach them something they did not know but to remind them of what they already knew.
Keep learning of God- segment
Isaiah 43:18
The lord conmanded the people not to remember the past. The kingdom. Of Israel inaugurated at the first exodus and the conquest of the promised land would be in- significant compared to the new kingdom God would establish.
Keep learning of God and keep new things in your heart through God.
