This is a very special episode. It is our 25th episode. We dedicate our show to Melanie Merritt Jones. The racing community mourns the loss of a great lady. She and her husband Jim own Jonesy's Concessions and Catering. They do the concessions at Wake County Speedway in Garner. Melanie passed away on Saturday Morning. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jim and her family. The great thing about short track racing is the great people like Melanie that you meet and become friends with. She will be missed.

What a Great American Race yesterday. The 61st running of the Daytona 500 had lots of excitement and action. Denny Hamlin won the race with Joe Gibbs Racing finishing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. With the three wrecks late in the race, it made for an interesting finish!
