Welcome to the rebrand.

Permission (though to absolutely don't need it) to reinvent yourself, recalibrate your path, and grow and evolve. The beauty of life is the journey not the destination.

Join me and my guests as we talk about the lessons we've learned, the things that make us curious, light us up, and expand our understanding. We cover a wide range of themes, but hey, so does life.

I'm working on something big and creative and fresh right now and it's reframing so many long held beliefs about right, wring, good, bad, manifestation, the universe and my place in it and more.

This episode is my open heart sharing how this season in life, in the world, is impacting me and how I can choose to move forward with Joy, Wonder and Creativity because those three things are the vehicle to Hope right now.

In this episode, I talk about my very recent experience of being gossipped about in a very real and harmful way without getting into the details...because that's the point!

Toxicity breeds and amplifies more toxic patterns and behaviour. Let's breakdown a bit about what gossip has been, how it's been used, and how it does damage and maybe, just maybe, move forward in a way where detached compassion and empathy for the wounded ego that profits off of gossip.

At the end of the day the person hurting the most in a gossip situation is the one chin wagging about everyone else to avoid processing their own baggage.

I get it, I've been there. I would love to connect with you and hear more about your story. Find out how to work with me by visiting https://www.cherylfolland.ca/links

Join us for a nuanced and vulnerable conversation around identity, colonized systems, women's liberation, reclamation of power in and through pleasure.

As a mostly asexual nonbinary person who lives as an uninvited settler on stolen land, it matters to me to learn the difference between appropriation and reverence for the beauty of cultural diversity.

An open chat between myself and expert Kendra Lockhart of Know Yourself Well (find her on IG and Facebook) around understanding our Ego, what it is in metaphysical terms and how to frame it with word pictures so our conscious self aka the thinking feeling doing being self can work with this important and often annoying WANT machine.

Please note this episode was recorded live on Facebook and has some technical audio issues we are aware of. Unfortunately to edit them out would ruin the integrity of the call.

Thanks so much!

"I don't have an issue with being disabled. I've found ways around things. I found what works for me, what doesn't a lot of times? It's the reactions of other people. There are the ones that have the issue, and sometimes the questions I understand people are curious, but it's just sometimes it's the rest of the world that has has that issue with that. We're on. Like I'm, I'm fine with that."

Before we had this conversation and before we have this conversation today, I want you, everyone listening to know that I am a rules person. Everything about my entire upbringing has been checklists and right or wrong and to be a good person. Do the right thing, do the right thing, do the right thing and oh my God. Kendra, is about to share something with us that first of all, made me real f** mad. And we unpacked that together with grace and then it completely shifted everything.

You can find Kendra online on Instagram or join her Facebook Group to continue exploring this topic or any other that you have on your mind. Thank you so much for being part of the community of understanding we're cultivating; there's room for you at our table.

Today's episode is taken directly from a series on my Instagram account called Thoughtful Thursdays. And the topic? Gender & inclusivity.

This week my community lost someone of great importance to hundreds of people. I hadn't spoken to them in a long time for personal reasons, and the news hit me with such force I crumbled for a bit. In today's episode, I discuss how a life, YOUR LIFE, my life, his life impacts others often without our even being fully aware and how grief doesn't care how long it's been.

This episode may be triggering to some individuals and discusses trauma, self harm ideation, and mental illness.
