We finally, after waiting over twenty years, gave our thoughts on the 2021 Challenge Cup. We, mainly went over the final between the Portland Thorns and Gotham (1:00).
Fabian Herbers and the Chicago Fire took on Julian Gressel and DC United on Thursday in a hard-fought affair. Before breaking down that match, we chatted about Fabian and Julian's new podcast called Zee Soccer Podcast, which spoiler alert is incredible, at least CJ thinks it is. This match was big because eighteen-year-old Javier Casas made his MLS debut for us. Next, we celebrated the Chicago Fire's 1st win of the year, beating Inter Miami in a late surprise. Luka Stojanović came off the bench and scored the winning goal (8:00).
Later we broke down the Red Stars abysmal performance vs. Portland Thorns. We looked inadequate from the beginning. On the bright side, it is good to get blowouts out of the way early. Thorns star Sophia Smith almost got a hat trick. Luckily she didn't, for that would have made it even worse. Further on, we reflected on the Red Stars 0-0 draw vs. Gotham. The last Red Stars match was the best a 2-0 win over KC. Kealia Watt turned it on for the Red Stars, her first goal of the year and the team's first win as well (32:00).
Finally, we cried after The Houston Dash's 1-0 loss to Gotham. The same issues that plagued us in the Challenge Cup were present in our opener as well. Then we broke down the Dash's surprising last-minute draw with KC. Rachel Daly is now the all-time goal scorer in franchise history with 29 passing Red Stars Kealia Watt. Then we both went over the heartbreaking loss for the Dash vs. the Spirt (CJ Hawk's Fav Spirit Player). Ashley Hatch ripped out our hearts late in the match, but Rachel scored again which is great, though (57:00).

Cue the sad violin music. After a woeful performance vs. Burnley, Fulham has finally been regulated after, for the most part, an abysmal season. CJ Hawk breaks down transfer news, who will stay or leave. Will Scott Parker and Tony Khan be fired, or will Tony's father, Mr. Khan, not fire Scott and change Tony's role? Finally, what will be the fate of Mitro? PSA: Fulham also lost vs. Southampton but on the bright side highly hyped teenager Fabio Carvalho scored his first goal for us in the loss (1:00). The Bulls finally got Zach, Nikola, and Coby on the court at the same time. The three-headed monster's results were super explosive. DJ Benny The Bull broke down the Bulls games vs. the Hawks, 76ers, Hornets, Celtics, Pistons, and Nets. The Bulls also played well in their final three games vs. the Raptors, Nets, and Bucks winning two of three. Depending on if you wanted the Bulls to get a high draft pick or make the play-in games then you might be sad or happy that the Bulls were officially eliminated on Saturday. (19:00). Breaking News: Manchester City are your 2020-2021 Premier League Champions. After a fantastic season under Pep Guardiola's managing, City has won their fifth title overall and third under Pep. Ruben Dias, Phil Foden, João Cancelo, İlkay Gündoğan, John Stones, Riyad Mahrez all have been standouts this year along with the usual suspects (65:00).

The Chicago Fire's 2nd game of the season did not go as planned in a flat performance against Atlanta United. But on the bright side, Luka Stojanović has been on fire so far, scoring in back-to-back games (1:00). The Bulls season is wrapping up, a chance for the 10th seed is still up for grabs if they finish strong and the Wizards falter. The Bulls games vs. the Hornets, Heat, Knicks, and Bucks are gone over by DJ Benny The Bull (12:00). The Chicago Bears have drafted Mitch Trubisky's successor from The Ohio State University, Justin Fields. Justin transferred from Georgia to Ohio State in 2019 and lit college football ablaze in his first season in Columbus, throwing for 41 touchdowns, over 3,500 yards, and only 3 picks. Justin led the Buckeyes to the college football playoff semifinal in 2019 and the final in 2020. He is a dual-threat quarterback, good running ability, and a strong arm, excited to see what he does for the Bears. We also hit a homer in drafting Tevin Jenkins, an OT from Oklahoma State. CJ Hawk is over the moon with the picks (32:00). Long-time pro athletes (longest tenure or best-known for team written) Blackhawks Andrew Shaw, 49ers Alex Smith and Sabres Ryan Miller each have announced their retirements recently. We next chatted about the Chicago Fire’s extraordinary effort vs. the New England Revolution at Soldier Field. Luka Stojanović and Robert Berić did the heavy lifting for the Fire(5:00). Fulham was abysmal vs. Arsenal and deserved to lose. Josh Maja’s pk was the only shot on the goal we had all match. The result finally put a nail in the coffin of the chances of the whites not being relegated. RIP Fulham 2020-2021 Premier League(18:00). Bulls took on Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum in a hard-fought win. Then they lost in a blowout to Collin Sexton and the Cavs(27:00). The Blackhawks played a three-game series with the rival Preds. We cover Hideki Matsuyama's amazing victory at Augusta. We cover how his third-round play ignited his run and how he held on to beat Will Zalatoris by one stroke to claim his Green Jacket and became the first Japanese man to win The Masters!!! (1:00). Manchester City's Ferran Torres scored a sweet goal, and the team played well but lost to an electric Stuart Dallas and Leeds 2-1. Also, Fulham's attack was lifeless once again on the pitch, unable to score even one goal vs. the Wolves. It was an opportunity to pick up a win, but the team failed to do so somewhat predictably. And their impending relegation looks more and more likely in CJ Hawk's opinion (7:00). Further on, we break down the flurry of trades made by the Blackhawks at this year's trade deadline. Good luck, Madison Bowey, Matthew Highmore, Lucas Wallmark, Mattis Janmark, Brad Morrison, Carl Soderberg, and Lucas Carlsson at your respective new clubs (22:00). Zach Lavine vs. Trae Young and the Hawks was a duel for the ages, with Zach scoring 50!!! and Trae was lighting the court up with 42!! Besides Zach and Nikola, the Bulls played poorly. The paint defense was abysmal, and the shooting was rather nasty outside of the two all-stars. Later, we vented about the Bull's loss against the woeful Timberwolves (38:00). Happy Jackie Robinson Day!! And also Carlos Rodon throws a no-no vs. Cleveland wow omg!!! (58:00). Instagram: djbennybull_cjhawk Twitter: BullHawkSports

Manchester City's offense was struggling until the last ten minutes when Gabriel Jesus scoring twice and Riyad Mahrez with his own got us going to break the tie and beat the Wolves.
Then Fulham had many shots on goal vs. the Spurs but could not even get a single one past Hugo. And a colossal mistake by Tosin gave the Spurs a 1-0 lead and win. Hawk then went on a huge rant and kept screaming about VAR and why it sucks and voiced that VAR should be eliminated (1:00).
Later, Hawk broke down Man City's 2-0 loss to end their 15 game winning streak at Manchester United's hand. United won the much anticipated Manchester Derby to move 11 points behind us in the table. Great job by Corey Crawford stopping many pucks in the net, his performance was a key reason we pulled out the win. Conor McDavid, the Oilers captain, and superstar destroyed our overwhelmed defense recording his first career playoff hat trick (3 goals in-game). The Hawks were 0-4 on the powerplay, which is unacceptable, and Alex Nylander did not have his best day for the squad. Kirby Dach played well again and, Alex Debrincat bounced back also. CJ Hawk recaps the Blackhawks 6-4 win over the Edmonton Oilers. He discusses the great performances by captain Jonathan Toews, rookie Dominik Kubalík, and Dylan Strome's play as well. We struggled on the penalty kill, allowing three of the four goals on the powerplay, which is not good enough at all. Toews was great on faceoffs, but the rest of the team was not, which needs to improve. Will, the Oilers, start Mike Smith or Mikko Koskinen in the net is a great question to ponder.
