Our Host: Brad Nahill
Brad has worked in sea turtle and ocean conservation for the past twenty years, the past twelve years leading SEE Turtles, an award-winning non-profit conservation organization and tour operator. Brad is editing a book about working with sea turtles that will be published in Winter 2020, is a co-author of the Travelers Guide To Sea Turtles, and a frequent speaker at travel conferences, sea turtle symposia, and schools. He has won the International Sea Turtle Society's President's Award as well as the Changemakers Award from the World Travel & Tourism Council and the Skal Sustainable Tourism Award.
Whales of Guerrero is an inspiring research program on Mexico's Pacific coast. From studying humpback whales to promoting education and public health, this organization empowers the community of Barra de Potosi to solve its own problems. This inspiring program is a model for how conservationists can protect wildlife by meeting the needs of local people.
