As a poet I’m fascinated by a holistic approach, blending different art forms to inform and enhance the subject. I believe this breaks down artificial constructs creating boundaries, separating the visual impact of a painting for example from its written and musical equivalence.
Each artistic expression contributes to and clarifies the whole. In my view art is best presented if it isn’t compartmentalised. To this end I’m using my photographs as a backdrop to my poems, together with Ade Franks’ soundscape and the technical support of Ade’s company, The Social Technician. I hope you enjoy the result.
