MagaSessions were born in 2012 quite naturally, out of the need for a venue where musicians might offer the most varied sonic proposals. More than concerts, given the casual and informal setting, we’ve experienced intimate and creative encounters that have helped bring musicians and listeners even closer together. __________ MagaSessions quickly turned into an experimentation lab, open not only to widely recognised Portuguese musicians but new projects too, and has become a must for all those who like to unwind and enjoy a Sunday afternoon among friends. From the very start, our goal was to challenge artists to play in a homely atmosphere and make culture more easily accessible, allowing people to gather around heterogeneous musical selections. __________ If at the beginning we used to select projects by invitation, we have meanwhile opened our doors to welcome all kinds of projects. MagaSessions receive not only musicians but artists from all areas. Inês Magalhães is responsible for all the production, curation and communication.
