From the story of the Good Samaritan, Thomas explores the theme of Stewardship; explaining how and where we invest our time and resources makes all the difference to His kingdom.
Exodus 6:28-7:13
In this passage Thomas looks at Obedience, that it requires full surrender, that we have to keep showing up even if it feels like nothing is moving and we are to remember God is good all the time.
Sometimes things just don't go according to plan. As a result we take one of two options, try and fix it ourselves or bring it to God. Pete explores Exodus 5:1-6:27 and looks at Gods promise as the foundation of our faith.
Thomas looks at Exodus 4 and Moses continued dialogue with God and how we, like Moses can use 3 phrases when being called out: "What if ?" "I have never" .... and "send someone else."
Cherry looks at the opening of Exodus 3, that God meets us in the ordinary to reveal the extraordinary, he sees our potential which means no-on is excluded and are we ready to say "here I am" to His call on our lives?
Thomas looks at the church in Pergamum in Revelation 2 and looks at when storms come why we need to remember we are citizens of heaven, otherwise compromise can creep in.
