Nearly 3 years ago, Adam Anderson, was killed in an avalanche on Mt. Jefferson in Island Park, Idaho. The snow conditions were ripe for an avalanche, but Adam didn't know that.
Adam's widow, Summer Anderson, has since dedicated her life to having no more families lose loved ones especially when it is avoidable. She created the Adam Andersen Avalanche Project and has provided avalanche packs for use, free of charge, as well as posted signs warning riders and providing them with resources to #knowthesnow.
