Welcome to Soul Chat the conversation with your soul. I’m your host Ebony Tutora, and I’m so honored to share this episode with you. I got to thinking about the things, emotions, and experiences that hold us back, and what came to me was shame. Shame is an emotion that Louise Hayes describes as “fear turned inwards.” Shame often holds us back from pleasure, abundance, healthy relationships, and more importantly, our ability to honor our emotions. When we navigate shame with grace, understanding, and love, we move mountains for ourselves. This episode is sponsored by 7 days of clarity. More about Shade:
Shadé is a breakthrough coach and New Earth teacher, dedicated to healing ancestral wounding. Many of you have been doing the work, going to yoga class, reading all the right books, but are still stuck. She spent 10 years working towards her own freedom and created her offerings to streamline that process for you. You can shift now.
Before becoming a breakthrough coach, Shadé graduated from Columbia University and earned her Masters in Public Health from Tulane University. She interviewed hundreds of women ages 18-75 and found an absolute difference between girls who grew up with and without their fathers. She gained a profound understanding of the different ways women are wounded by their fathers and then go on to live as if those wounds are the truth. Shadé wrote a book called In Search of My Father about how healing her relationship with her father set her free to experience healthy love and wealth. She toured the country for four years keynote speaking at conferences, high schools and colleges so she could get her arms around as many women as she could and tell them that they are worthy of love. This is her life's devotion: to bring an end to the unnecessary suffering caused by unworthiness.
Shadé is an active philanthropist and has raised half a million dollars for her nonprofit, Kids International, in hopes of making a difference in the lives of orphaned children around the world. Shade was honored by Congress for her work and is a Goodwill Ambassador to The Gambia in West Africa. She wakes up every day, trying to be more like Yahweh. In her spare time, Shadé loves to read, talk about health and wellness, teach and practice yoga, and travel; she's been to every continent... except Antartica.
Shadé currently lives in Hawaii where she spends most days hiking with Savannah strapped to her back and helping people around the world get free through her coaching programs.

Welcome to another episode of Soul Chat with your host Ebony Tutora from Queens Recognize Queens®. In this episode we interview the amazing Josh Massey CEO of The Loving Leaders. A little more about Josh, the loving leaders and his philosophy for coaching.
In his words: I'm very excited to share with you what I've learned over the last two years of coaching hundreds of coaches to get their business off the ground by instilling new habits and shifting their belief system.
The number one thing I see blocking coaches from having everything they've ever dreamed of in their business? They don't believe they're worthy of having "all the things".
And this is usually covered up by a more of surface-level problem of what we "think" it is. After all, as a coach, we should be able to coach ourselves, right?
I find it quite the opposite. Because we "think" we should know all the answers, we block ourselves from "not knowing" them. And as a coach, we all know that stepping into the unknown is where all the answers really are.
If you landed on this page chances are you're a heart-centered coach who loves to serve their clients and is curious as to how you might be able to attract them more effectively.
I have one question for you...
What if it was easy?
This is the coaching that has helped me to hit my first 10k month, attract dream clients, opportunities, and the love of my life! We discuss the many shifts I have had in my life to create an amazing year! I'm sharing my secret weapon with you all, and the level of awareness that has shifted my entire life! Welcome to another episode of Soul Chat! I am your host Eb Tutora, and today I wanted to highlight what I hear when working with clients, or simply those around me. Many of us want love, success, and peace, but oftentimes we are skipping the steps it takes to get there. Can you still manifest things by skipping steps? Hell yes! But, I believe that they’ll always be what we KINDA wanted, and not the exact thing. Making sure we cover ALL bases, allows us time to grow, gain wisdom, and ENJOY the process. There’s so much sauce in this podcast, so dive in and get ready for a conversation deeper than the surface. Love it? Share it with 3-5 people that you know!

Welcome to Soul Chat with your host Ebony M. Tutora. A podcast dedicated to diving beneath the surface level conversations... and going into the depths of the soul. Today I had the honor of interviewing the amazing ShaVaughn Elle, a writer/poet, holistic practitioner, spiritualist, and sex/pleasure specialist. THIS conversation was everything. We discussed the meaning of sex, and how society has blurred our vision on the sacredness of it. We've been shamed into denying ourselves the right to feel pleasure. ShaVaughn touches on the many forms of femininity so women can stop shaming other women for their unique expression of their sex. We also covered all things taboo, and the powerful way to tap into pleasure at ANY moment.
This conversation is bigger than sex, as it is a re-education of what know to be true. It is an inquiry into age-old beliefs that may be rooted in fear, lies, and a need to control a specific narrative. Obviously, since numbers don't lie... we know that porno is extremely popular, as well as other things that allow us to freely express our sex or to experience pleasure. This conversation takes the veil off of it, and gives us a safe space to explore the dynamic of what we have learned about sex vs what is REALLY true.

My entry into eroticism started with my written work as L.T. Robinson and evolved into intimacy and sex education. I created Say It With Sex as a medium to better understand the nuances and synchronicity of sex and spirituality. While embodying my own path of sexual self-expression, I uncovered how this energy and perspective effects, as well as translates across every aspect of our lives.
I desire to live a pleasure-filled life and want to help others do the same. My efforts are placed towards Black and Brown persons with vulvas and those who identify as feminine because I am she and fully understand the difficulty with embracing and standing firm in your sexual preference, expression, values, and beliefs. Our bodies are viewed as sex objects and resources of emulation, not conduits of sex energy. I seek to connect with the collective to de-stigmatize and redefine what sexual liberation looks like for us.
It isn't always a nip-slip.
As a creative healer, I use these gifts as instruments to unpack our distorted sexual lens. Through content, a strong spiritual foundation, and other educational tools, together as a community, we peel back the layers and learn our erotic language to better understand who we are in pleasure.

Welcome to Soul Chat with your host Ebony M. Tutora. A podcast dedicated to diving beneath the surface level conversations... and going into the depths of the soul. Today I had the honor of interviewing the amazing Chief Grief Crusader, Herdyne Mercier. In this episode we speak about grief, and how many times we may not even recognize that we are experiencing grief. It may be grief induced by the loss of a job, a lifestyle, a child, a partner, and so many other ways. Herdyne truly shows up in her power, and knowing of redefining the way we processing emotions. Intellectual intelligence is one thing, but your emotional intelligence is everything.
More about her: I believe that happiness and sadness exist in a delicate balance. The goal is to not allow our unhappiness to overtake the good times, the successes and the laughter and joys in order to maintain our emotional well-being.
Dealing with grief has piqued my interest since I was a little girl. I remember attending funerals with my father and wondering, “why do people die?” “why do people cry?” “How can we overcome death?” existential questions that my six-year-old self could not answer. As an adult, however, it dawned on me one day that there is a way to defeat death. It is by living life: fully and intentionally. It is by recognizing that every moment we have breath in our lungs is a gift from God. It is by preparing for tomorrow without fearing any curveballs that may be thrown our way.
Herdyne Mercier is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Grief Coach, retreat facilitator, and transformational speaker. She is also the host of the “Redefining Grief” podcast. Herdyne’s life calling is to create non-judgmental spaces for broken hearts to heal and purposeful living restored.
Alongside her husband and best friend, Dr. Jameson Mercier, they own and operate Mercier Wellness and Consulting. They use their expertise and experience to help individuals, couples, and families deal with the heartbreak and unresolved grief that lead to unhealthy coping skills.

Tune into another episode of Soul Chat with Ebony Tutora from Queens Recognize Queens® discussing female toxicity. Too often we see circulating posts on how toxic men can be, but how many times are we discussing women. This message comes from love, and experience, as well as some interesting Facebook Discussions that have lead to deep insight, and revelations. In order for us to grow we must admit that we actually have a problem, that like men.. we need to learn and grow too. So many women will be quick to say there are no good men, but in the same breath due to the law of attraction.. you attract what you are. So if he is dusty... you must be dusty too. (LOL) I pray that after listening to this you can see your own shortcomings, and try your best to mend yourself, heal, and align with a man who is GOOD for you, and you for him.

Tune into another amazing Soul Chat episode with Queens Recognize Queens® featuring Dr. Latoya Wiggins. In this episode we discuss wellness methods, and how she has shifted her perception of what it means. She has shared with us some powerful tools, and insights into wellness; as well as how each of us can apply the practice to our lives.
More about Latoya:
LaToya Wiggins is a Wellness Coach for busy moms, and Dr. of physical therapy. She believes that no mom should struggle to balance self-care, raising a family, and taking care of other responsibilities. Therefore, she provides wellness coaching for busy moms so they can develop healthy habits and feel less stressed, more energized, and live the life they desire.
Her passion for coaching busy moms came about due to her own experience with struggling to find balance in my life, while raising a family.
In her words: Finding the Health Coach Institute, where I received my certifications in health and life coaching, was one of the best things that has happened in my life. Learning the transformational coaching methods has helped me to adopt healthy habits and keep up with the hustle and bustle of life. I have been managing my weight, exercising regularly, eating healthy, feeling more energized, feeling less stressed, and finding time to do pleasurable activities more often.
Going through my own transformation, mentally and physically, has made my passion to help other moms even greater. I provide a space for moms to get clear on their desires and provide the right support, the right system, and the right accountability they need in order to transform into the best version of themselves.
I live in Baltimore, MD with my loving husband and two handsome sons. Outside of wellness coaching, I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy in the inpatient hospital setting. A few things I enjoy include Soca’Robics, dancing, step classes, comedy shows, and traveling.

She gave up on society’s suggested “mileposts” for success in life and began to design a life guided by her own values, relationships, and the notion that “we make a living by what we get, and we make a life by what we give.” Just when she started making plans, God laughed, and along came Jack. Melissa says that he IS her greatest gift. Her passion and purpose are building strong relationships, creating dynamic communities, inspiring leadership from the heart, and being a catalyst for the critical shift in paradigm our world needs right now, which Jack inspires her to do it daily. When not chasing her toddler or her dreams, you’ll find Melissa snuggling with her fur baby; reading; writing; dancing in the living room; conspiring with energy healers and thought leaders; listening to, or recording, podcasts; and, enjoying life outdoors.
