Everyone has their favorite “comfort” foods. Sometimes we tend to go towards the unhealthy option when we can make healthier alternatives to these foods. We are going to dive deep into some of our favorite comfort foods and how we make them better and more nutritious for our bodies.
In this episode, we tackle whether girls or boys have life harder. We used different studies to compare and contrast each gender's struggles. We then conducted interviews with four students and asked them a series of questions to gain perspective on the topic.
Brennon Wall is a student at Grove High school. While he may only be a freshmen, he is well-known in the community for his music, and continues to spread his message daily. This episode is about mental health issues and history. The scholars discuss mental health issues throughout history and compare them to the issues of today. They also tackle the apparent rise in mental illness and issues that are created by social media and technology.
Our goal is to bring awareness to many of the "ticks" teenagers have from influences in their everyday lives. Our group is offering insight on the positive and negative effects of gaming, social media, and substance use (alcohol, nicotine, marijuana, etc.) on teens mentally, physically, and emotionally.
This segment of the podcast is about spreading awareness for the homelessness problem in Grove. Featuring Dalton Crouch, Lincoln Wright, Ally Swafford, Kaden Tackkett, and Hunter Tedrick.
This episode focuses on toxic friendships and relationships in high school. The scholars in this episode will be talking about multiple aspects of a toxic relationship in high school. It will range from what a toxic relationship is to how to prevent yourself from getting into one.
