Welcome to the community where we parent without all the food and body drama.
Dr Schofer is the Weight Coach for Your Whole Family, specializing in helping parents who are worried about their kids' weight help the whole family build better relationships with food and body and each other. Creating lifelong habits for a healthy weight is now easy and fun for the whole family.
And, you grow closer to your whole family all along the way.
Yes, we talk weight and weight loss. And we emphasize learning to love and accept our bodies as they are before making any change. Because no one has to change their body or their weight to feel better. Let me show you how.
There is a better way to approach concerns about body image, weight, and obesity in our families: it's healing one relationship at a time.

Welcome to my very special listeners, teens! Today I want to share some videos I recently created to answer the question, "What does a supportive relationship look like between an adult and a teen?" Well there are two folks to consider in this question and I answered with what can be considered by teens trying to figure out WHY they would ever want to connect with adults, and how adults can be welcoming and supportive to teens. Please feel free to go to the blog or YouTube to see the video versions of both aspects and watch with your teens. There is such wealth in exploring perspectives on both sides of the relationship, which largely involves trust, safe spaces and vulnerability. I welcome your input, ah-ha's and questions. As always, you can drop me a line at wendy@wendyschofermd.com. Full show notes available here.

You're zapped, trying to focus on getting that report done. Or from the kids running on your nerves all day long. And the kids are having a meltdown and just arguing with each other, raiding the cabinets and doing anything but homework.
What do you do?
In today's episode I explore the concept of the "Shake Off," and I swear I'm not singing Taylor Swift the whole time (I.do.not.sing!). What is shaking it off? What does it do? How does it change your physiology? Why does that matter?
Let's dive in!

As a parent, are you playing ping pong or chess with your kids? It's not all about the games, it's about the approach to being with them.
In this episode we talk about taking some lessons from Improv Comedy and apply them to working with our kids. No one approach is better than another, but is it possible that your go-to (like my strength of being a Maximizer) is keeping you from fully having the experience you want at home?
Let's talk about health, habits, strengths (and their downside), the responsiveness in ping pong, the future planning and being in the moment. Whether you call it meditation, mindfulness, awareness, presence or something else, let's explore together. As you will find from a story about a client's use of awareness, it completely changes our relationship with ourselves and our family.

Ever notice how you tend to have a soundtrack playing for your life? The same emotions, same story, same day to day.... and don't get me started on the "I'm bored!" soundtrack.
Today we dive into an amazing tool - a game from the world of Improv Comedy - and apply it to our day to day lives.
You see, in improv comedy, we are constantly flexing, changing, trying on new possibilities, and we don't have to save that for the stage. I include examples of my own stuck-ness, and how I used this tool just this morning.

We have to admit it: we all (yes, I) have used shame tactics when it comes to health. It's a part of our culture and once we admit it, we can start being on the look for where we are using the tool of shame against us. Because shame doesn't make anyone healthier. Period. It backfires time and again.
In this episode, I discuss how shame is being used, often covertly, as well as other ways to address actions that can be changed.
As always, there are plenty of examples from real life.

What does ending the year mean to you? I used to say that it meant getting ready for new beginnings.... but that was the part of me that was constantly on the move. Now I'm settling. I'm practicing hygge - and talking about what that looks like now with a few months since my introduction. (see Episode #97, Unlocking Your Inner Rebel for the intro to hygge). Now the end of the year means a softening, a coziness, creating a warmth that is supportive of the way I want to feel. What about for you? How do you want to feel? How can you bring that to your life? I love asking these questions and following through on them. Join me for the upcoming Family in Focus signature group coaching program (starts 2nd week of January) - or even private work (CME can be used for those who have end-of-year funds (a gratifying way to earn credits while learning more about yourself!) "Holidays = Stress" has become a part of our language. But why are you stressed around the holidays?
Today we unpack 6 very common stressors for parents during the holidays:
1) There's so much to do
2) It's so hard to stay healthy during the holidays
3) I have to "make it magical"
4) My .... is so hard to please. (aka meeting other people's expectations)
5) Sensory overload (aka holiday/pumpkin spice everything!)
6) MONEY
For each, we explore a question that just isn't asked enough of parents: What do you want?
Little shifts, practices and reframes can completely change the experience that we are having now (and we can use it at other times of the year!). It's truly a gift that only you can give yourself.
Check out the one that I discovered during recording and I'm taking it with me this week.
If you want to build on, I'm hosting a How to Survive the Holidays series in early December. We will have small group live coaching for you to connect, learn and apply the tools to your unique family and feel better right away.

We are all struggling with weight, each and every one of us.
The focus of our struggle may be our own weight, our loved ones, and professionally the struggle may be for our patients, students and colleagues.
Today's episode is an abbreviated version of a chat I did for the local Children's Hospital - yes, these conversations are happening in professional settings as well! The full version is coming shortly.
Find out about WHY we are struggling and the steps to take to start changing that today. It's not about diets - ok, the struggle is. But the next steps are NOT about finding yet another golden-ticket diet. "What got you here," (ahem, diets, black/white thinking about health, fearing food and bodies, shaming, numbing the discomforts of life), "will not get you there," (lifelong health from the inside out) -- my adaptation of Marshall Goldsmith's quote.
Take a listen and let me know how you see this playing out in your life.
As promised, Family in Focus is opening again shortly for group coaching. Learn more and join the waitlist now: available here.

Eeek! Today we are celebrating 100 episodes of the podcast and how we got here, amidst overwhelm, insanity and a crazy to-do list.
Let's talk about the best way to address overwhelm: little steps.
In this episode, I talk about how overwhelm develops, how it is so freaking natural and understandable in today's modern life AND the practice that I'm using every day and sharing with my patients, clients and family.
Little steps. That's how I got from episode 0 to 100... and how I'm going forward as well.
Parallels are discussed in in podcasting, clinical medicine (I see you, Urgent Care patient board and charting), family health, our upcoming move and all the to-do items.
Take a listen (and a giggle, especially as you check out the birthday crown in the full YouTube video/link below) and let me know how overwhelm is impacting you and your family. What little step, the teeniest, tiniest one, can you take today?
Let me know. Email wendy@wendyschofermd.com

I love experiments. Anyone who has worked with me in the office or the Family in Focus coaching community has heard me talk about little experiments. Well I want to share with you how I f'd it up.
I f'd it up - and now I have learned so much in the process, as did the family.
We are constantly learning and growing - as long as we are trying to put ourselves out there to try things and risk failure.
Take a listen to see what I learned in the failed experiment.

Hon, can we talk? I know... the word rebel doesn't feel like it fits.
Yet, what is possible if it is the way to lead the life you actually want?
Today we're gonna catch up, because I look a 2 month break from y'all, and I have gained so much more along the way.
Because I gave myself permission. Permission to STOP. To CHANGE. To CHOOSE.
Join me as we explore permission and how we think it is for and from others.
And let's start looking at the permission that we want to give ourselves. Perhaps not to do something, but to NOT do something.
Ahhhh... I'm exhaling again!
And, for those who want to look it up, I talk about the Danish concept of "hygge", pronounced "hoo-gah". You're more than welcome to join me in practicing it every.damn.day now!

What could it be?

This is the real-deal of parenting. Our kids have big feelings. And we haven't learned how to deal with our own, let alone help them.
Until today. Let's do this, together.
Ten minutes to review the prior episodes on emotions (check out Episodes #93 & 94), AND go through the foundations of how to help your child feel their feelings, today.
If this is completely new to you, take a few minutes to practice for yourself first.
It's well worth the time.
And, here's the link to connect with me for an introductory session to talk about how we can work together.

Emotions are the fuel for our lives: they drive everything that we do (and what we don't do). Let's explore more, along with a particular example with a feeling I know very well: frustration.
As mentioned in the episode, here is the feelings wheel.

Hold on, we were just talking about relationships with food, and now we're talking about efficiency?
Yup. This is real-deal life as a parent.
It's all the things. The mental burden. The many-tabs open at once.
In today's episode, we're going to talk about where that mental burden comes from, how our socialization contributes to it, and how it is intertwined with struggles around efficiency.
You'll learn the questions to ask to start untangling the grip that these expectations have upon our lives.
And of course, a real story that may involve a real husband and his beautiful approach to efficiency, and why I'm calling BS. A lot.
Episode rated explicit for... actually saying what BS is. ;-)
And enjoy the artwork.... with my many tabs open right now. The struggle is real, my friends. AND we can make it what works for us.

Brains, Pandemics, Weight, and Trauma...
Ooph - yeah, it sounds like a hard topic, but we're going to explore today a few concepts that have been spinning through my head and readings, of course with laughter, stories, analogies and (once again) Allen Iverson references.
Let's talk about the very important function of 2 different parts of our brain: amygdala and prefrontal cortex (aka downstairs and upstairs brains)
with a nod to Daniel Siegel, MD and Tina Bryson, PhD wh wrote "The Whole-Brain Child".
We explore the increasing rates of overweight and obesity from 2020 onward, with a different perspective about the why.
And most importantly, what we can do to address the chronic activation we have of our threat detection centers, and why "feeling better" with food and electronics isn't actually helping to heal the underlying wounds.

“This is just the way I am.”
That is THE biggest obstacle to change: thinking that you are your habits, your actions, your thoughts and feelings. Thinking that they are set in stone.
Nope, they are just practiced a lot. And when we practice things they become relatively automatic, Default Mode is activated in our brains.
What to do?

What on Earth?! With all the kid-angst and unhappiness that kids experience, it sounds crazy to think that we would tie our emotions to theirs. But do you see that happening? Do you try to make your kids feel better so you can feel better?
Let's talk about recognizing that there is an ongoing drive to have happy, healthy kids. And yet, it's not really helping them or us.

Today, we celebrate. I'm celebrating the birth, evolution and growth of Family in Focus. I've been asked time and again, "What is the evidence that Family in Focus is effective?" I'm creating the evidence. It's been a labor of love, seeing the problems with the traditional approach to weight in the medical office, the community and my own home. And now, I'm proud to announce that I have a collaboration that is specifically collecting the evidence of the effectiveness of Family in Focus to improve health at home, one parent, one family at a time. Take a listen to hear about how we're collecting the evidence, growing and celebrating along the way. Full show notes available here.

Have you heard the questions about identifying your kids’ needs? It's really the heart to understanding their behavior, but let's not jump too far ahead:
When's the last time you asked what YOU need?
This is critical for health as an individual and a family: identifying and meeting needs. And in order to be the parent that our kids need, we have the opportunity to understand and address OUR needs.
That's not selfish, it's a freaking need.
Join me to understand what needs really are, how to uncover and address them, and why it's important for our health and our family's health.

"You're the worst parent in the world."
"You've f'd me up."
Ah, kids. Gotta love them. They sure know how to make us feel amazing.
That's what we're talking about today: the explicit is for feeling "shitty" a few times, and "f'd up" wihtout the rest of the word (you're welcome... and there are very quick "ear-muffs" warnings.)
This is real-deal parenting: kids do not agree with the job that we are doing. Let's talk about boundaries and pushing back as kids, how it's normal, and.. how to not make it mean that we are the shittiest parents in the world, no matter what they say.
BTW, I did check: the shittiest parents are not listening to FIF with WS, MD. So, there's that.

We've been working through a series on stress eating, and we need to understand the stress first. We've started with ourselves: understanding our stress, what we do with stress.
Now we can start talking about helping our children. (After all, we can't just swoop in and address their stress and stress eating if we don't have a solid understanding for ourselves first.)
Today, learn about our natural desire to fix the stress, try to not feel it, and what can happen if we keep it bottled up inside. And learn how we can truly help our children grow through the stress.

Continuing on from Episode #80, "How to deal with stress eating," we dive into 8 ways... yes 8, to address the stress.
Please notice if there's stress about 8... you can try any one and see how it works for you.
That's the ticket: awareness, experimentation, curiosity and noticing how we stress about stress (dude, me too).
As parents, we get to understand our stressors and how to deal with it, so we can then help our kids (oh you betcha that's what's coming in Part 3, next week!).

Do you find yourself stressed out, collapsing on the couch with a bag of tortilla chips in exhaustion, and scrolling on social media?
You are not alone: stress eating is so common for us and our kids.
In order to address it we need to understand it. Just addressing the eating part is a plan for disaster as it changes eating habits without addressing the stress in the first place.
Today we talk about what we experience with stress (aka the stress cycle), and how to understand it to get clear on the stress at home.
Next week, we are going to continue with the steps to start dealing with the stress.
As always, first: observe to understand, later: take action.
Feel free to drop me an email, referencing Episode #80/stress cycle and what is coming up for you as you are journaling.

What happens when we focus on the scale?
Finding it hard to NOT do it? In this episode, I share the story of how I smacked face-first into the reality that it is really hard to not focus on what the scale says. But also, what happens when we practice not letting it have control over our lives.

We think we need to focus on weight: after all, isn't that how we identify a problem and fix it?
In today's episode, I start the conversation about how there's more to it. Our focus on weight has NOT been helping our families. In fact, it's causing more problems.
Let's dive in and see what we can do. Where should we be placing our focus for health?
This is from my recent guest article on the KevinMD.com blog.

Do you have a plan for your family's health? How's it working?
Want to throw it out? Or is it something that you hate the rules and structure of a plan?
In today's episode we talk about how to create a plan for your own family: why it's important, and what to account for. We also talk about why all those other plans haven't worked (and why there's nothing wrong with you or your family that a certain plan hasn't panned out the way you wanted).

Previously we discussed doing a little sleuthing - observing behaviors. What is it that your kids are doing? What are you finding out about the patterns of their behavior?
This week we are exploring what comes before the behaviors.
Why do we do the things that we do?
It's not as mysterious as what it's made out to be. In fact, we pretty much do everything for one reason:
emotions.
We have a feeling that leads us to act, or to not act. Or perhaps we are totally uncomfortable with a feeling, so we do something else to avoid feeling it.
Take a listen to Episode #74 and learn about the emotions that drive behaviors, and how to apply this in your home.

I’ve been reading the GAP and the GAIN by Dan Sullivan and Dr Benjamin Hardy recently.
Briefly, the book discusses our natural tendency to focus on the gap between where we are and where we want to be (comparing to others), our expectations (comparing to our anticipated future selves), and external pressures.
And there is a greater value by focusing on the gains that we have made over time - looking at how we got here from where we started, essentially only comparing ourselves to where we started.
We can also be in the gap when we approach our family members: comparing where they are now to the ideal we have for them in our minds.
Listen to apply in your home - creating a ripple effect for everyone's health.
And... a special guest, my Gigi busts in on the podcast at the end. Enjoy.

TL;DR:
Exercise is not always helpful, in fact, it can be harmful to your health, and not in some crazy I-can't-believe-I-ran-that-far or lifted-that-car-over-my-head kind of way.
Exercising because you have to, to avoid shame, or to punish yourself (and your kids) is no-bueno, my friends.
Listen to find out more about the right way to approach movement.
And when you're ready to start applying this in your own home, check out www.wendyschofermd.com for more information about my coaching programs, as well as the blog at www.wendyschofermd.com/blog.
Welcome to Family in Focus with Wendy Schofer, MD. I’m the pediatrician-coach who specializes in helping you parent without all the food and body drama so raising a healthy family is actually easy & fun.
Did you know that it’s possible for exercise to NOT be healthy for you.
This does not mean I’m never going to move again. Let’s check it out:
What makes something healthy for you?
My answer: When they are supporting you. When doing them becomes an investment in you. It’s building you up, and helping you. We can apply this to education, new experiences, food, and yes, movement.
First, I like to call it movement, not exercise. Exercise has a connotation that there is an end-goal – sweat, health outcomes, or winning.
Movement is using our bodies - and ultimately our bodies don’t care if we are in competition (with ourselves or others). Our bodies need movement - to use it or lose it (think about flexibility, conditioning, aerobic capacity – if you’ve ever been out of commission for a week with the flu, pneumonia, or an injury, you know the difference when you get moving again - your body needs time to recondition to where it was before).
So how is exercise NOT healthy or helpful for you?
#1: When you’re using it to punish yourself
"I have to work out because I ate…cookies/pasta/the whole thing." Meh. No you don't. Punishment does not work.
#2: When it’s mandatory
“My mom said I have to exercise for an hour each day.”
“I have to ride my bike for an hour each day.”
Seriously? Who said?
Do you enjoy things when they are mandatory?
Having come from a career in the Navy, I will let you in on a little secret: the twice-annual feats of strength (aka, the physical readiness test) is miserable. It’s an exercise in proving yourself to someone else. And it’s mandatory. Ick. It’s the reason why I no longer like running - because I had to run for my PRT and it was the only reason I was doing it. I didn't like it. When I was able to move for me… for enjoyment, for strength, for my mental health, that’s when movement became healthy & helpful for me.
#3: When there’s shame or guilt.
“I HAVE to exercise because otherwise I’m gonna take heat from my mom, my dad, my coach.”
“I HAVE to or else I’m going to gain weight.”
It sounds like the truth, but in fact, it’s a story you’re telling yourself that is NOT helpful for you to enjoy movement. These are all things we tell ourselves to push ourselves into exercise, and ultimately we do not stick with things that we have to push ourselves into. The willpower runs out, and we wind up HATING the activity.
So stop.
Stop exercising for beating yourself up, for shame, or because you have to.
Movement is helpful for your body - but not because I tell you so.
How do you feel when you move your body?
How can you move your body and enjoy it?
How do you want your body to feel? Strong? Free? Lighter? Movement can actually help with all of those, not because you’re changing weight, but because you’re connecting with your body and ENJOYING it.

Welcome to Family in Focus with Wendy Schofer, MD, Episode #33.
I help you parent without all the food and body drama.
So let's get drama-busting.
One of the biggest dramas that I had was "knowing" what was healthy and then seeing my family make other choices. And then fearing the health outcomes of their "unhealthy" choices.
No wonder I felt miserable.
In today's episode, I unpack what we know about health and bodies, and challenge you to start considering what we don't really know.
I dive into my definition of health - and how it's powering me and my family every single day (hint: check out the video game health bar - see, my kid did teach me something from video games!).

The need to get things right was trained into me. I was rewarded for high scores in school. In medical school, I learned the "right way" to be healthy.
Ha.
All of it.
In today's episode, I discuss how that spilled over to raising my kids, and I share an easy way to practice making it right.
I've opened my doors for 1:1 coaching to help you parent without the food and body drama. Don't miss this opportunity to help yourself and your whole family. It's at www.wendyschofermd.com.
Making a decision doesn't mean that you have to stick with it forever. Or that you're hypocritical to change your mind.

Episode 28!
Last time we talked about Hunger & Kids... but you may have noticed, there's a lot of food-searching going on. Is it possible the kids aren't actually hungry all the time? Why else could they be asking for food, again?!
Today we dive into 4 additional reasons that we all search for food. How are we looking to food to solve problems other than hunger?
I stressed it in the recording and I'll stress it again here: this is not a time to argue someone else's hunger. It's a time to observe the patterns of eating for yourself, and then observe in the family.
In fact, it's never our role to tell someone else, "You're not hungry." More on that next time!

As a physician and parent, I've learned a lot about kids, nutrition, and growth. But these are three things that I wasn't taught in school about weight - and are now oh so important to help now amidst concerns about weight and how to help our kids.

3) It’s possible to be healthy at a wide range of weights.

Today we dive into Responsibility when it comes to helping kids navigate weight concerns.
What are we controlling?
Where is the finger-pointing?
Where are the opportunities to take ownership?
Dive in and let me know what you see as your responsibility in your home. And the downloadable Division of Responsibility sheet (all thanks to Ellyn Satter's work) is available here.

Welcome to Episode #22!
My son's at it again: giving me material for the podcast! And that's not a bad thing. I appreciate the opportunity to choose to focus on our conversations. You see, the brain is hard-wired to find problems and to focus on them until fixed. So we are ALWAYS looking for danger, problems, and pain. It's about ensuring our survival.
But we have the option - the choice - to focus upon what is going well. And yes, our relationship is going well.
Take a listen, and the challenge at the end. Drop me a line at wendy@wendyschofermd.com and let me know what you noticed about 3 Things That Went Well.
Welcome to Family in Focus with Wendy Schofer, MD Episode #21!
My love-hate relationship with Halloween has a lot to do with my experience as a pediatrician and the "sugar-gorge-fest," as I saw it. In this episode, I talk about how MISERABLE that made me feel, every year, and what I did to make peace with Halloween. While you may not take the same approach I did, what is possible for you to make peace with Halloween too?

Episode #20 (woo-hoo!)
A mom used her example of making mac and cheese dinner as evidence that she isn't the one to lead her family to healthy habits.
Hold.the.phone.
Today we dive into why we serve the foods we do. And dare I say, the energy behind that - when you're having mac & cheese - what energy do you want to serve with it? It's your choice - and makes a tremendous difference!

Welcome to Family in Focus with Wendy Schofer, MD, Episode #19.
Did you realize you have a say in the questions that you ask yourself?
We have trained our brains to keep looking for something else, the next notification, all the things that need to be on the to-do list, all the things that require our time and attention and energy.
It's hard to see the forest through the trees. Especially when it's your family -- seeing them through all the things to do, all the things vying for your attention.
Today I touch on starting to ask your brain - not what else needs to be done (and always adding to the list), but choosing - deciding - where you want to focus.
I'd love to hear from you. wendy@wendyschofermd.com

Episode #18
A gymnastics-tricks session with my niece this weekend left her amazed: her mom and I jumped right in.
She hadn't seen adults jump in to play like that at the gym and it begged the question: why?
Why aren't parents playing?
In today's episode, we dive into this further - and I ask of you: how can you let go and allow your brain and body to play?
Please like, follow, and subscribe to Family in Focus on your favorite podcast service and share so that more parents can bring healthy habits to their family. Much love - Wendy

Episode #17:
The final step in my Go S.L.O.W. process for creating healthy family habits:
Water.
So powerful, essential (as per my father-in-law... and biology!) and yet so easily overlooked.
Today I talk about the things that get in the way of adopting water into our regular habits - and why it is deserving of more attention.
Welcome to Family in Focus with Wendy Schofer, MD.
Today we continue on the Go S.L.O.W. framework:
Observe your body.
Get all busy asking it two really important questions:
Am I hungry?
Have I had enough?
We go through a whole bunch o' stuff that gets in the way of asking the questions and listening to the answers.
I'd love to hear what you're learning for yourself. What are the messages you are hearing from your body about hunger and enough-ness? And how are you modeling it for your kids?

Today we continue on the steps of Going SLOW to instill healthy habits for the whole family around meals:
Lose the Distractions.
Yeah, I don't like having steps that speak in the negative, but with the number of distractions that we have nowadays, it begs particular attention. TVs, computers, scrolling on phones and endless notifications -- these all distract us from being able to truly nourish our bodies as well as each other in social connection during meals.
Let's dive into more about losing the distractions.
And come on over to www.wendyschofermd.com where you can learn about my next group coaching cohort, launching in October!!!

Any plan for healthy habits needs to include scheduling regular sleep, no matter your current or goal weight.
Not as an after-thought, or something to catch whenever we can.
But an active carving out of time to prioritize sleep.
Your child's focus, performance, mood, metabolism, resilience and appetite will thank you.

If we can choose our feelings (by the way, we can!), I choose fun.
I value FUN so much in my life that I'm actively looking for it: at work (go figure a pediatrician values fun!), as well as at home in my relationships and lifestyle. You can use it too. Decide to find the fun.

What I learned from the Okinawans - and had to unlearn to use it
Hara Hachi Bu - "Eat until you're 80% full." Great to practice and understand when have I had enough. As parents, we first need to see what's getting in the way of being able to ask our kids, and accept their answers. Letting go of beliefs around meals, food rules - and then letting the kids have an opportunity to become aware of their own bodies.
The Coaching Model, as conceptualized by Brooke Castillo of The Life Coach School, is a universal tool to understand how we create the results in our lives (the ones we don't want, and the ones we actually want).
In this episode, we discuss the 5 parts, and use examples from at home to illustrate its use.
We also discuss which parts of the Model every human gets to choose - and how choosing what you think & feel, and how you behave creates all the results in your life.
I'm practicing -- "I am not perfect, I do not need to be perfect, I am amazing BECAUSE of my mistakes and imperfections."
Yeah, it's an ongoing practice.
Like today, not editing. Just taking my unedited podcast and going real with you. It's a work in progress.
As a physician, I thought that I needed to get it all right, not make mistakes - and I buried myself in shame when I did. I'm still learning about myself, about medicine, about my family - and that has made the difference. Because when I see mistakes as gifts - to learn, to grow - I see that much more benefit has come from the mistake than what would have happened had I gotten it right the first time.

When we focus on one aspect, a struggle, a challenge, we can put on blinders - concentrating so much on "fixing the problem" that we create more issues along the way.
This is why I work to keep the Family in Focus - understanding the habits that have gotten us here - and engaging the whole family in the new habits that we want going forward.
And as the leader of the family, the parent has the key role to play in creating health at home.

Episode #5: The Truth about Motivation
What is the energy that you are using to motivate yourself and your family?
Is it from a perspective of pushing (the drill sargeant), or from a place of leaning into what you want?
We discuss the difference, how to tap into the positive emotions that drive you forward to make change, and creative brainstorming.
Join the Summer Accelerator Group Coaching Program - registration open through 7/15 and the 8 week session runs from Aug 1 to Sept 25.
