When a sudden storm interrupts his execution, Luffy barely manages to escape with his crew into the Grand Line. On his tail now, Smoker decides to bring him down at all costs. On top of all this, a mysterious stranger seems to have been introduced in the frenzy. We skipped episodes 54-60 due to filler.
Luffy and crew have finally found their way to Loguetown, the place where Gold Roger died. We talk about our love for Smoker and his second in command Tashigi (Kuina?) Episodes 46 and 47 were skipped to reduce filler, episodes 54-59 will also be skipped for the same reason next week.
This arc comes to a close and we discuss the high points and low points of these last few episodes.
The battle of Arlong Park is underway and Luffy finds himself in a very difficult situation.
In these episodes we witness the story of Nami and her unfortunate upbringing. Manly tears were shed.
This week Luffy and the gang finally arrive at Cocoyasi Village. We get to meet Nami's sister, Nojiko, and her boss Arlong.
Before the fight can begin, the legendary Dracule Mihawk has appeared before everyone. In one slash he destroys Kriegs massive ship. Zoro takes this sudden opportunity to test his blade against the man who they call the greatest swordsman.
