Three best friends who happen to be boys talk about their thoughts and feelings on complicated issues. Many people cite this show as the number one reason they can keep on keeping on. Boy Friends is a funny podcast that is hand crafted to listen on a commute or at work.
It’s summer and that means bees. Andy comes up with a song to calm his fears while Daniel & Austin work out their communication issue. The show takes a healthy turn when the buddies discuss clean eating and body-building.
The show starts with a non-sense “Andy” review of the movie Bye Bye Birdie, and Daniel gives his opinion on Essential Oils. Fan questions stir the pot with things like “What should I name my daughter?” and “Help me understand my friend, he pees in the sink.” The show ends abruptly when Andy gets locked out of the bathroom.
The guys are fresh off spending a few days together and discuss highlights from the trip. This episode is packed full of fan questions. Lot’s of crazy, colorful opinions are thrown around and Judge Austin rules with his strong arm and gavel.
Austin wants a job testing certified professionals, like Black Belts, to see if they’re ready for the real world. Andy tries to review the new movie A Quiet Place without ruining it. He ends up learning a lesson and has to bleep out possible spoilers. A speed round of thought provoking, home related questions closes out the show.
Daniel and Austin talk about the amazing world inside their magic VR machine and how they’ll need Andy to wear the special skin-tight jumpsuit when he tries it so he doesn’t get lost. The Q&A section covers a fan’s poor restaurant experience and then we solve the legend of the lost McDonalds mascots.
After raving about our new favorite video game to play together, Sea of Thieves, we stop and reflect on how our lives are going. Who are we? What is life? The guys discuss what it’s been like working full time jobs from home and Andy describes himself as a frazzled Lion. The show wraps up nicely with a couple of real life questions about Burger King and a mysteriously high power bill.
Things get pretty funny pretty quick this episode with a bunch of crazy talk about all the different kinds of robot vacuums. Daniel gives us a peak into what it’s like to act in a commercial after The Brave Little Toaster movie stirs up some unwanted childhood memories. Our advice this episode is on first date fashion tips, pick up lines for online dating and what to do if your niece or nephew is an ungrateful scrumpus about their gifts.
I hope you like accents because this episode is packed with ‘em. Daniel lets us in on a big secret after we read some thank you cards to the late Stephen Hawking. This week has a couple of great fan questions having to do with “who’s dad is better & how to defend him” and “what to do if your kid sucks at something”. We can only hope our wisdom helps someone somewhere.
Austin starts the show off triggered. Daniel tells us some of his alien spacecraft eyewitness memories and Andy doesn’t have any. The boys get lost in a role play of a famous 1998 Armageddon movie scene and wrap up the show trying to figure out how to be a dad without going crazy.
Daniel visits Andy's house and record this weeks show in his living room, all while a brave, strong Austin keeps his wits about him back at home. The boys go on and on about the what, why and how of headgear. We take a look into the past and discuss how the heck dentists came up with braces. The show makes a nice easy landing after we answer a crazy question about a mystical beast called a Centaur and then help give marketing advice to a business man through song and role-play.

Season two has begun! Daniel, Austin, Andy and you are together again for a new adventure. This episode covers all the important things like pipe & drape, nun-chuck's, Andy's lost sweater, Daniel's magical friend Bobby and Austin's mind blowing guide to crowd manipulation. The buddies wrap up the show with some reflection on how the show got started and dream up a little of what it could be.
Holy cow it’s the season finale!
In this one we start by discussing the recent success of Elon Musk (a.k.a. “Zelon Chunks”) His big dreams get us dreaming about things like stronger body parts, owning our very own Ewok Village and living in an entire house made of showers. Our last Solomon’s Corner for the season helps two neighbors solve their dispute by building a Six Flags for birds. Next we solve a college students question about their mysterious 40 year old roommate.
We solve a lot of problems, come up with new products and invent new curriculum all while discussing what we'd do if a nuke hits. We learn about new and exciting school classes from the master himself, Scott Wolkowski. We wrap up by solving a stuffed animal attachment issue and then help someone who has changed their mind about their wedding.
It’s a new year and the buddies are back at it with exciting stories about Craigslist and Offer-Up. Andy gets lost in his mind trying to explain something and gets rescued. Solomon’s Corner gets intense when we try to help with sibling rivalry and a friend-zoned flirty boy.
It’s all about Dust Blusters, health drinks, weird Hawaii memories and a game of “Where’s Austin” with our special guest Sarah Irwin. She gives us a unique look into the adventures of daily life with her husband Andy before helping solve a fan submitted dispute about the right way to cook ramen noodles.
Whoopsie, Austin’s mic sounds a little strange because of a technical issue in this one but it’s still a fun episode and full of adventure. Daniel tells us all about his family vacation in New York. Austin and Andy are shocked to hear that the Rat King runs a gang called the Positive Boys who end up hustling Daniel. Solomon’s Corner answers a mind bender about soup and cereal. When, why and how?

Andy gets grilled for playing Candy Crush too much and Daniel shares his recent front flip construction injury. We get caught up trying to remember all the names of the musketeers after Andy explains some of their weapons. Solomon’s Corner covers things like burritos, grounding 2 year olds and helping a concerned son give his mom her voice back using the power of Siri.
In this episode we chat about our preferred Holiday outfits, great ways to relax, which gravy is best and our favorite Thanksgiving memories. Later in the show a fan asks if the Buddies have any weird Christmas traditions and then we try to solve another case of Gramma-Gon-B-Nasty.
Andy thinks the limitless drug is real and tries to get the guys to buy some. Austin needs help with settling a debate about whether music is better now than 20 years ago. We end up making a Spotify playlist of our favorite songs instead of helping Austin.
In Solomon’s Corner the guys try to tackle the question “Is being an adult as scary as it seems?” Coach Austin gives a No Risk No Reward speech and Andy says something about not owning a robe. We wrap up with some cool updates about the future of the show and give some shoutouts to new Patreon subscribers.
None of us can get Mark Wahlberg’s name right during our review of the newest Transformers movie. Andy tries to “host” the show and we somehow end up pretending to be grandpas from The Buttercream Gang. The episode wraps up with a couple of great questions from listeners in Solomon’s Corner.
Before we get to a packed full Solomons Corner, the boys rant about some Pet Peeves including public bathrooms, loud nose blowing and some of Andy’s bad habits. Questions get answered in the second half of the show like “Why do girls stare at me?” “When is a chip a crumb?” and “Can I help my son be funny?”
In this episode we start off by picking Panda nick names and then stumble into some weird topics including Andy’s Kabob arrows and a complete reinvention of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Austin and Daniel give some solid advice to a Homecoming question in Solomon’s Corner while Andy just wants to change the tradition all together.
A wonderfully funny guest from Los Angeles and YouTube sketch comedy writer, Mike Tenango, joins us on the show we’re we find out important things like who likes to hug and who doesn’t and who’s paying the most for housing these days.
Mike helps us answer some interesting questions about moms and dads on Solomon’s Corner, then we wrap things up with our favorite dumb injury stories.

The Boys overcome an awkward recording situation in Austin's apartment. Joe drops off some soda, and Andy shares about his weird but innocent fetish. We field a few questions for people who hate to be touched and the Wonderboys challenge the Phobytes.
The Boys are back from Summer break! It's been a long time coming. This episode is advice on what to do when another guy is eyeballing your wife at the pool... or worse... your daughter. Andy and Austin play a speed round of clever "who would win in a fight" questions. Vikings vs Samurai, Star Destroyer vs Star Ship Enterprise, etc. Then the Boys take some time and answer a couple of very important questions about Bears and Relationships.
The Boys make a plan to take the world by storm with professional metal detecting. They will employ the success drive of treasure-hunting pirates with metal detectors, and local high school cross country runners into an unbeatable combination. Austin gets fired up about this new business venture and Andy gets called out by one of his co-workers.
Listen as the Boys settle an argument between Andy and the people he works with. Andy gets blind-sided by the question and tries to explain his side of the story.
Daniel, Austin and Andy talk about their upcoming fishing trip and fireside chat in the motor home. Andy defends his style of fishing which he calls Dockside Little Babies. Austin confesses he likes Drop Jazz and Tindr for Farmers.

A heartwarming Father's Day episode where the Boys discuss who's dad could beat up whom. The "my Dad can beat up your Dad" question is one of the most important controversies faced by every adolescent, because as we all know our Dad's can beat up the world. The episode rounds out with some important questions about marriage and asking a girl's dad for her hand, and Andy and Daniel learn a cool new phrase from Austin about pink lemonade.
On this episode of Boy_Friends we settle the question, once and for all, is Fast and Furious the greatest movie series of all time. Austin shares a story about wrecking a Tesla on the first drive, and Andy talks about neon lights under his Saturn.
The Boys teach you what to do if you have a co-worker who mopes a lot, and Dean gets his question rejected… sorry Dean. The show rounds off with the Andy explaining the plot of Fast and Furious.
The Boys are back in town after a two-week break! Between Easter and wedding preparations we've all been crazy busy, but we found time to release an awesome episode. In this episode, Andy shares stories about a crazy mouse hunt, how he got his driver;s license and his inability to motorcycle. Austin gets really confused about how is the Buttercream Ganging.

Join us for a casual conversation with the Boy Friends. In this “unplugged” episode of Boy Friends, Andy learns about Animorphs. Since he simply cannot get his head around the idea of a child morphing into an animal, Austin has the bright idea to combine it with a book series Andy loves: The Hardy Boys. The Boys wrestle down the plot points and universe rules for the first season of the Hardymorphs. Hardymorphs is a book series about three young adult male detectives who struggle with involuntary morphing.
The last weekend of February The Boys got together in an undisclosed location for Daniel's birthday. This episode gets a little crazy because all The Boys are in the same room. The roll of the dice determines the fate of this episode and Andy gets real passive and real aggressive.
The Boys discuss being insecure in a pet store and how Andy can get roped into just about anything. Then Daniel brings up Austin's new found wealth... he now drives a Lexus. Daniel confesses that he drives a dirty 15 passenger van with old folks home decals on the side, and Andy thinks it's gotta have some perks. The Boys have a blast hanging with an old friend Adam Collazo. They tackle a question about board game competition and Austin surprises the boys with a new wedding announcement. Adam talks about the trouble with wedding outfits and Andy describes his boyhood life in his teeny-tiny Christian School.
This Episode was recorded in early January when Daniel had the Noro Virus. The Boys mistakenly call this the "flu".

The Boys share some of their Valentines Day tips and riff about Redbox and Blockbuster. Daniels shares about his love for American Gladiators while Andy struggles to find a fictitious gladiator name. Austin smokes Andy on a Star Wars force power debate while Andy clings to his lightsaber. The question divides the Boys, but good, until a question about Wizard of Oz brings them back together again. We aren't in Kansas anymore on this weeks Boy Friends.
Join the Boys as they talk about the reality of membership shopping compared to the struggles of Walmart. Costco comes out a clear winner in this episode, but their weapon section isn't up to snuff for Andy. Austin signs up for a Target Membership with a toothless gypsy king, and the Boys try to help a grammar nazi. The episode crescendos when the Boys try to help someone find alternatives to curse words.
Andy thinks this is Episode 17 but actually it's Episode 16. Join The Boys as they role play out a vital question at a local Chipotle. We find out Andy wears Costco socks and Austin lifted up a homeless man by his backpack.
