Our eternal condition is determined by our fundamental identity.

As Christ’s Bride, we are one flesh with him and on that basis share all that is his.

Our hearts are restless until they find their rest in Christ.

Having been exiled from our first home, we are destined to wander in this world until we find our true home with Jesus Christ.

God created humanity to mirror back to himself his own beauty and glory and the day is coming when we will do just that.

Our need for beauty and security is destined to be fulfilled in the eternal city of God.

Our deepest need is to belong and that belonging is ours in the family of God.

The best most blissful of earthly marriage is no more than a temporary foreshadowing of the eternal joy of our true marriage.

Our position before God is as secure as our enemy’s defeat is certain.

The joy that is Christ’s now is promised to us in the kingdom, and since it is promised to us in the kingdom, it can be ours now.

Our vibrancy is directly related to our delight in Christ.

God’s people can remain faithful through tribulation because Jesus is sovereign over tribulation.
