Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! But when the time of perfection comes, these partial things will become useless.
When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.

Sometimes, God uses hardships in our lives so that He may be seen.
John 9 gives an account of how Jesus healed a blind man on the Sabbath. When the healed man gave his testimony later on to the religious leaders, it created controversy.
When Jesus heard what had happened, he found the man and asked, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”
The man answered, “Who is he, sir? I want to believe in him.”
“You have seen him,” Jesus said, “and he is speaking to you!”
“Yes, Lord, I believe!” the man said. And he worshiped Jesus.
Then Jesus told him, “I entered this world to render judgment—to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind.”
Some Pharisees who were standing nearby heard him and asked, “Are you saying we’re blind?”

We are celebrating God’s provision to allow us to make some significant updates to our building. During the Summer of 2022, we added an entry vestibule, added a wheelchair lift, rebuilt our main staircases, and installed new carpet throughout. Our hope is that God will give us many opportunities to use this space to serve with others.
Join us on the night before Christmas for an evening of joyful reflection on the birth of Jesus. We will share in reading the biblical accounts, sing Christmas songs of praise, and share in the love of our church community. All are welcome to join us!

In 1 Corinthians 13, the apostle Paul describes a biblical view of love. We consider what it means to love as God intends and praise Him for His loving character.
1 Corinthians 11:2-16: The Apostle Paul addresses respect for God's authority structure in the church.
1 Corinthians 10: The Apostle Paul warns Christians about the danger of taking their relationship with the Lord for granted.
1 Corinthians 9. The Apostle Paul describes his ministry and calls on Christians to follow Jesus' example of being a servant to all.
The apostle Paul makes it clear that God leads people to faith and God transforms. What is our role? We are invited into fellowship with Him just as we are and called to partner with Him in the Gospel.
In 1 Corinthians 2, the Apostle Paul writes that the wisdom of God is given to those who are mature. We consider today, the biblical call to Christian maturity.
1 Corinthian 1:18-31 - Jesus is the source of all Godly wisdom and power. We give Him thanks for His strength working through us.
In 1 Cor 1: 10, the apostle Paul writes, " I appeal to you, brothers,[a] by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment. "
How can we be a united church?
In 1Corinthains 1, the apostle Paul reminds us that God provides everything we need to live the life He desires for us. We are lacking in nothing!
In his greeting to the church in Corinth, the Apostle Paul reminds Christians that they and the Church are called to be Holy.
Part of our spiritual growth includes the way we use our physical being for God's glory. Today we dig into the Bible to think about some of the ways God calls us to grow in the way we use our bodies for His glory.

In Philippians 4:5, the apostle Paul tells Christians to let their "gentle spirit" be known to all. What does he mean by that?
What is the difference between proper and improper "boasting". Based on 2 Corinthians 10, we consider the value of expressing confidence in who we are in Christ.
Boasting in your weaknesses makes it clear that God is working through you in strength.
In a world full of inustice and hatred, we can be assured that God will bring justice. Before His final judgement, however, we all have the opportunity to receive His grace. He offers forgiveness and second chances through a life lived by faith in Jesus.
The first message in a study of the book of Malachi. God begins this message stating the powerful truth: "I have loved you."
Overall, when Jesus told parables He was inviting people into life in the Kingdom of Heaven. What does it take for us to live in the Kingdom day by day?
In this parable, Jesus calls us to humility in our attitude toward others. We are challenged to remain humble even while we embrace the truth of the Gospel.
Jesus compares the people of God to "wordly people" and calls the people of God to do better!
In Luke 15 we read a series of parables Jesus told to emphasize the value of finding that which was lost. He shows us how important all people are to Him
In Luke 14, Jesus tells a parable that challenges us to consider the sincerity of our faith.
Jesus said, "whoever is not with me is against me." Are we working with Him as we live out our lives?
In the Parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus calls us to focus on being a good neighbor rather than questioning who our neighbor really is.
Jesus tells us that the kingdom of God grows in the same way a seed does. A farmer plants the seed, but it grows without him; he does not know how.
Jesus compared the kingdom of God to a net being cast by fishermen into the lake. We consider what this means for us today.
Jesus compared the Kingdom of God to a great treasure. Do we recognize the great value of living in fellowship with the Lord?
The Bible is filled with expressions of lament about the pain people experience in our world. Today we consider the value of the biblical form of lament. It serves as a bridge between the pain of living in a sin-filled world and the goodness of God.
1 Thess 5:19-22 tells us not to quench the Spirit or despise prophecies. How do we listen to the Holy Spirit well?
Is it God's will that we rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances. How do we develop these attitudes?
1 Thessalonians 5:13b-15 describes some of the ways a diverese group of people committed to Jesus come together to create community built on love for God and one another.
1 Thess 5:13 tells us to esteem spiritual leaders very highly in love because of their work. We consider the nature of that work to explore why Paul highlights this group of people for honor.
