Those “peaceful” riots in Minneapolis to demand justice that has already been served in the the police killing of a black man just got way more “peaceful.” Rather than offend black rioters, who are grieving that the Target store has been picked clean, Minneapolis police have let the unruly mob burn down their precinct station. U.S. Attorney John Huber effectively concluded a sprawling investigation into several matters related to the Clintons without a finding of criminal wrongdoing, according to a Washington Post report. IS This A Joke?
In November 2017, then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions tapped Huber to investigate the Clinton Foundation as well as Hillary Clinton’s actions as secretary of state toward Uranium One, an energy firm linked to Clinton Foundation donors. Huber was also tasked with investigation matters related to the Russia probe, but that part of his investigation was ceded to the Justice Department’s office of the inspector general.

WaPo’s sources said Huber’s review turned up few leads worth pursuing. The Justice Department has not formally closed the investigation, according to WaPo, but it appears essentially to be over.
President Donald Trump ordered a U.S. military airstrike Thursday that killed Gen. Qasem Soleimani, the leader of Iran’s elite Quds Force, in an airstrike near Baghdad’s airport, the Pentagon said in a statement.
“At the direction of the President, the U.S. military has taken decisive defensive action to protect U.S. personnel abroad by killing Qasem Soleimani, the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force, a U.S.-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization,” the Pentagon said in a statement. The Pentagon said that Soleimani was “actively developing plans” to attack American diplomats and service members in Iraq.

Attorney General William Barr provided new details Wednesday of U.S. Attorney John Durham’s investigation of the origins of the Trump-Russia probe and said in an interview on Fox News that the federal prosecutor is looking into the activities of federal agencies outside the FBI, as well as those of “private actors.”

Recently, according to a recently released report by 60 Minutes, over 300 President Trump 2020 campaign ads were taken down by Google and Youtube for “violating” their terms of service. The reporters couldn’t find any apparent reason why the ads were taken down. “We found very little transparency in the transparency report,” 60 Minutes said.

Virginia voters are preparing to head to the polls where they will decide on a number of major issues and possibly flip control of the legislature. This week’s elections will test Democrats’ enthusiasm as well as the political waters surrounding gun control.
Many are calling this a gun grab pushed by the so-called “red flag laws.” Red Flag gun control is designed to “flag” suspicious, potentially dangerous gun owners. President Trump confirmed Sunday that ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi died during U.S. military operations in Syria. During a White House press conference, the president announced Baghdadi died following a special raid in the northwestern Syrian province of Idlib overnight.
However, The Washington Post appears to be glorifying the legacy of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. In its Sunday obituary, the newspaper initially referred to Baghdadi as the “Islamic State’s terrorist-in-chief.” They later changed the headline to define him as an “austere religious scholar at the helm of the Islamic State.”
