The West Wing is an OHS ASB student-produced podcast that aims to nurture a deeper, more intimate sense of community that goes beyond assemblies and spirit weeks. On TWW, ANYTHING is fair game for conversation. We engage in honest, heart-to-heart discussions about the things that matter to us as high school students in our modern society - from Twitter trends, to the youth-led revolutions emerging across the world, to philosophical discussions about life's biggest questions.
What does it mean to be an optimist, pessimist, and a realist? We often forget that our thoughts define our reality: the entire world as we know it is a figment of our imagination. Join our TWW speakers as we deliberate over which of these philosophies triumphs as the "best" outlook on life.
Disney's live action Mulan movie premiered a few weeks ago, and there is a lot to unpack! In this bonus episode of TWW, 5 ASB members share their thoughts on the good, bad, and the ugly of this refreshed retelling of a classic Disney tale. (This episode does include some spoilers, so if you still have yet to see the movie, proceed with caution!)
How do you find faith in doing something that others don't believe you can do, especially if it's a gamble? Featuring our first student guest speaker (yay!), the hosts of TWW discuss the difficult decision between settling for a career that’s less fulfilling yet stable and socially acceptable, or pursuing a life path that conflicts with the expectations that our family, peers, and society impose on us.
