This podcast is devoted to encouraging and inspiring adults with dyslexia to make more room in their life for Christ. Listeners will hear biblical truth that will uplift and challenge them to find a place for dyslexia in their life and let Christ take center stage of their life.
Today's episode is titled Life Lesson 6: When I am Afraid. Sometimes, we are afraid; like King David, it's okay to be honest about that. He told the LORD that when I am afraid, I will trust in Thee. So you see, even a king can admit that he faced things that made him pause. But he turned to God in those moments and was delivered out of all his fears. We can, too, if we true Christ with our fear. What do you have to lose?
Hope
Today's episode is Life Lesson 5: God's Grace is Enough. What does grace teach us? It is God's strength that empowers us to keep moving forward. Why? Because grace makes us adequate to fulfill God's will, not make what's going on. Dyslexia is no match for God's grace. One of the most powerful life lessons we will learn is that God is enough. His grace is sufficient, and when we feel weak in our dyslexia, He is strong. It's not that amazing. So, what life lesson have you learned? Please share it with someone.
Today's episode is Life Lesson 4: Find Room in Your Life for Dyslexia... so that dyslexia does not take over your life. Of course, this is easier said than done, but it can be done. Thank you for joining me as I share some life lessons I have learned from having dyslexia. At the end of the podcast, I will offer some helpful tips on how to find room for dyslexia in your life so that it doesn't become bigger than God.
Today's episode is Life Lesson 3: I Don't Need to Know Everything About Dyslexia. How true that is about life. When I learned this lesson, I was so relieved. What I have learned is two things: I need to know how dyslexia has and is affecting me and how God will use my dyslexia for His glory. That's it. The rest is ice cream on top of a cake. It's good stuff, but you can live without it. So, give yourself a break and put all your energy toward learning what God wants you to do for Him and improving your talents. I was so much happier when I accepted this. And maybe you will, too.
Today's episode is titled "Life Lesson 2: The Power of Crumbs." Yes, crumbs. I have learned that even the smallest blessing from God is always more than enough.
Today's episode is titled Life Lesson 1: We Don't Need Fixed. You heard it correctly: One of the lessons that I have learned is that we do need to be cured because we do not have a disease. We are unique in thinking and learning differently; we are wired differently. So there's no need to fix anything about us. That is good news because we can now focus on putting the past behind us and moving forward.
Today's episode is titled Dyslexia, Reoccurring Grief, and Depression. In some ways, grief has no end. What we learn from loss is that we will always miss what we lost, but life goes on. We find that we are no longer chained to our grief; it no longer controls us, and we learn that we still have life. Depression is always part of grief; it informs us that we are hurting inside. But with so many of our experiences, we learn to move on.
I hope you gained something from the grief series and that you're well on your way to healing and moving on. Until next time.
Hope
Today's episode is titled "Dyslexia and Fear." King David said, "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1. We, too, must answer these questions. Hopefully, you will come to the same conclusion as David: the LORD is my strength, whom shall I fear... We can also come to the same conclusion that we are not afraid of dyslexia. For some, we have made dyslexia our enemy. An enemy that we fear. But Christ came so we would no longer fear but take hold and embrace what Christ has done for us... He has taken away our fear and given us His peace.
Thank you for joining me for another Dyslexia Uniquely Gifted.
Today's episode is titled "Guilt and Dyslexia." Guilt is problematic because it is based on how we perceive ourselves. We may blame ourselves for not birthing a 'normal' child or not being able to fix our child. As adults, we may blame others for how life has turned out, or we resent that things did not turn out as expected, and we feel guilty about our not-so-nice feelings.
But we don't have to stay in that place called guilt. We can give it away. Yes, we can stop carrying it by giving it to Jesus.
Today's episode is titled 'Anger and Dyslexia.' Sometimes, anger feels like the safest place to be. It buys us time to cope with the truth—the truth we would rather not face. But anger, like love, always finds a way to express itself. The good news is that God is bigger than our anger, and He waits for us in those angry places until we finally turn the pain underneath the anger over to Him. He is long-suffering toward us. We owe Him so much. It is also good news that we don't need to stay angry. We can reclaim the life Christ has for us. Do it today. Give Him your anger, and He, in turn, will give you His peace.
Today's episode is titled 'Anxiety and Dyslexia.' Feeling anxious has become common until we don't often associate it with dyslexia and grief. It's real and can last for years; however, it can be managed so that it does not control us. The grief cycle is just that, a cycle. The good news is it does get better as we know more about ourselves, recognize it for what it is, and bring Christ into those moments.
The Bible tells us to grieve with hope. That gives us purpose and a reason to keep moving forward.
Thank you for joining me on another Dyslexia: Uniquely Gifted podcast.
Today's episode is titled 'Denial and Dyslexia.' This word, denial, has sometimes gotten a bad rap... However, it can help us out. How, you might ask... well, denial has a way of buying us time to process and adjust to our new normal. However, we don't want to stay in denial longer than necessary. Denial allows us to look at things differently and hopefully accept the good in having dyslexia.
Thank you for joining me as we discuss how we, as adults, have coped with dyslexia. And what God is always doing.
This episode is about grieving with hope. Dyslexia may be a new diagnosis or you have known about it for a long time. You will grieve. But grieve with the hope that you will make it. You will still accomplish many things in your life. You will reach your goal.
Thank you for joining me on another episode of Dyslexia Uniquely Gifted.
Today's episode is titled The Amos Principle. Amos is a minor prophet with a powerful message of warning and hope. The principle that runs through this message is that God is a God of love, longsuffering, and justice. He offers this to each of us and will keep His promise if we return to Him.
Those who have dyslexia, remember this principle and don't lose heart. Take God's warnings seriously and cling to the hope He offers.
The title of today's episode is 'The Storm.' There are different types of storms depending on the part of the country you live in. Growing up in the south, storms were the norm in the spring and early summer. Dyslexia can sometimes feel like a storm, but Christ still comes stormy seas, even dyslexia.
Today's episode of Dyslexia Uniquely Gifted Podcast is titled 'Facing the Truth.' It took me many years, but I came face to face with myself. I could not read. When I finally sought help, I was an adult. I was diagnosed with dyslexia. I learned that it wasn't fatal, but people actually lived with dyslexia and led productive lives. Then I became a Christian, and God opened the world to me through reading. My life has not been the same. The truth truly does make us free.
You can, too. I take a little courage, and you will find that you're well on your way to living the life God always intended you to have.
Today's episode is titled 'Changed by the Word.' If you want a change, go straight to the Word and bow before the Word, Christ Jesus. Did He not say, come boldly before My throne of grace, and in your hour of need, He will be merciful, and you will find the grace you need to change.
The Word is powerful. Let it be powerful in your life today.
Hope
Today's episode is titled "The Joel Principle." It is a short yet powerful message of judgment and hope. The principle today is that God is always near. Even when He must reveal our true condition, He walks with us as He leads us away from our place of comfort and safety.
As adults with dyslexia, we may not have responded to our past or how people have treated us in a positive way. The Lord also calls us to repent because He wants us free.
Today's episode is titled "Peace Robber." Life is hard enough, but when you have a learning ability, some things can go undetected, such as why you may be sad or fearful, and it's difficult to determine the cause. The peace you once had is fleeting. Well, that is what happened to me. I thought it was my job, but it turned out to be because of my dyslexia; I was taking things way too personally. Once I discovered that and found some promises in God's word, my peace returned. Thank you for tuning in to another episode of Dyslexia Uniquely Gifted.
Hope
Today's episode is titled The Sacrifice of Thanksgiving. We owe so much to the Lord. Where do we begin? We can start by saying thank you—two small words but yet powerful.
When was the last time you offered God your sacrifice of thanksgiving? It will cost you when you do, but He is so worth it.
Hope
Today's episode is titled "Faithful." You might be surprised that I am not referring to God as being faithful but our faithfulness to Him. Yes, It's the story of three Hebrew boys who showed themselves faithful to God in a time of crisis.
Thank you for joining me on another faithful journey.
Hope
Today's episode is titled "The Well of Our Experiences." Yes, we are back visiting the Woman at the Well, a place where Jesus sits waiting for us all the time. Think about why He waits, why He is there. Why He purposefully goes to the Well. It's for you and me, and He bids for us to drink deeply from the source of water that never runs dry.
If you could meet Him there today, you won't be disappointed.
Hope
Today's episode is titled 'The Hosea Principle.' The principle we learned from this faith prophet is that God is always faithful and merciful. What is important is that we have often taken God for granted. It's time we use the gifts He has given us to show Him how much we love and appreciate Him. We are also to use them to build up His kingdom.
Hope
Today's episode is titled "The Power of the Spoken Word." Look all around you, and you will be reminded that Jesus still speaks. He is our Creator still. His creation is a constant reminder of who He is.
If you are living a powerless life, submit to Jesus's power and authority, and the transformation will be amazing.
Hope
Today's episode is titled Transformed. Yes, we can be made new. That is what Christ has promised. Do you believe it is the question? It begins with replacing our negative self-talk with the truth found in God's word.
It sounds simple. Yet, a transformation will challenge us yet be our greatest blessing. I hope you join me as we take a leap of faith into the world of God's possibilities.
Hope
Today's episode is titled Dyslexia, Renewing the Mind. God so designed that our brain would change for His glory. We are not stuck with our old way of thinking and believing. What an amazing God we serve. So don't let another day go by without allowing the word of God to change you into the person you were meant to be.
Hope
Today's episode is titled The Ezekiel Principle. God is sovereign today, yesterday, and tomorrow. The truth found in God's word that tells us this should be put to memory so that when things get hard, we don't lose heart. We serve a sovereign God and that is something always to celebrate.
Hope

Hope

Today's episode is titled, 'The Kings Principle.' Israel has come a long way from when they left Egypt. They are now living under the rulership of an earthly king. They learned the hard way that this was not a wise decision. However, God always proved Himself to be faithful even though they chose someone else to rule over them. Who rules your heart?
Today's episode is titled 'The Samuel Principle." Our continuation on capturing the principle, at least one of the major principles in the book of the bible. Today, we learned the principle: God qualifies those He call." That is good news because I don't have to be smart enough or clever enough. All I have to be is surrendered, faithful, and willing to be taught, and God will do the rest.
Today's episode is titled 'The Ruth Principle.' Suffering comes to us all, but we need not conclude that God is punishing us. Why? Because He always brings good out of our affiliation, and He is the great consolation.
Today's episode is titled 'The Judges' Principles.' The Bible informs us that we all have come short of the glory of God... But praise God, that's not His final word... the apostle Paul also states that the gift of God is eternal life.
The principle for today is God, deals with sin. But He is merciful.
Hope

Thank you for joining me on our journey to exploring the principles taught in God's word and how they have the power to transform our lives.

For the next several weeks, we will explore the principles found in the word of God and how we can become more powerful than we can imagine.
Once again, thank you for joining me on another Dyslexia: Uniquely Gifted.
Hope

Thank you for joining me on another episode of Dyslexia: Uniquely Gifted.
Hope
Today's episode is titled 'Dyslexia and EI, Part 2.' Emotional Intelligence is another place where we, as dyslexics, shine. I've known about EI for years but never associated it with dyslexia. Now, that has all changed. I hope you find the blessing in EI as I have.
Hope
Today's episode is titled 'Dyslexia and EI." What is EI, Emotional Intelligence? You may be surprised how emotionally intelligent we are; I was. Listen and be blessed!

Today's episode is titled 'Not Forsaken.' This is not only a truth but a promise our Lord Jesus Christ made to us. All we need to do is to believe He is a person of His word.
Today's episode is titled "Letting Go." Let's face it: it is scary to give control over to another. But what if that person is Jesus? For some, that is even more scary.... But it doesn't have to be. Making the decision to let go and free fall into Jesus's hands will be your greatest challenge and your most profound blessing.
Hope
Today's episode is titled 'When I Am Afraid.' That four-letter word, FEAR, seems always to be around... When we least expect it, there it is. We seem powerless in the face of it... But is that how it should be? Does God have something better in mind for His children?
Hope
Today's episode is titled, In Times of Crisis. How do you respond when things go wrong? A crisis is designed to build, reveal, and perfect our character if we could see it through Christ's eyes.
The hard part about a crisis is what we will focus on, who Christ is or what Satan is doing. The choice is ours...
Hope
Today's episode is titled The Sovereignty of God. How big and powerful is your God? He is absolute power and authority, which is why we need Him.
He can and will turn our darkness in today when we acknowledge Him as our sovereign Lord and Savior.

Hope
Today's episode is titled Confidence. It means to rely on to have a firm trust, to be sure of. Our faith in Christ is our expression that we demonstrate our confidence in Him.
Dyslexia may have robbed you of your confidence because you falsely believed you needed self-confidence. This has left many angry and confused, seldom feeling they could rely on themselves to accomplish anything.
The good news is this: we can cast aside our attempt to possess self-confidence. Yes, self-confidence is an illusion. We are called to rely on, and to place our confidence in Christ alone. That's it. When we do, He has promised that we will be rewarded. Read Hebrews 10:35: "Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompense of reward. " Jesus is our firm foundation. Place your confidence in Him today.
Today's episode is titled Determined. What is determined? It means making a firm decision to be resolved, intentional or purposeful. The beautiful thing is that our determination is in Christ. We don't have to try and manufacture it. Be determined, having a made-up mind to follow Christ.

Thank you for going with me on this journey.
Hope
Today's episode is titled, My Dyslexia, Part 5. The question that is answered today is, What do I want people to know about my dyslexia? I hope you're blessed as you get to know me a little better.
Hope
Today's episode is titled "My Dyslexia, Part 4." Today's question is, "How has God used my Dyslexia for His glory?" IT WASN'T EASY when I thought of how to answer this question. So I took the question to God to inform me how my Dyslexia has been a blessing to Him. It did not take Him long to answer.
Listen and find out how you can be a blessing to God.
Hope
Today's episode is titled, My Dyslexia, Part 3. Today's question is, what has been the hardest thing to accept about my dyslexia?
I challenge you to give this question some thought. Maybe it's time to give God the hard part of dyslexia. You won't be sorry.
Hope
Today's episode is titled, My Dyslexia, Part 2. Today the question that we explored through the Word of God is, Why do I have dyslexia? The scripture read is John 9. This is the story of a young man that was born blind, and the Lord restored his sight.
Why was this man born blind? Listen to this podcast and read John 9 to find out. You may be surprised.
Hope
Today's episode is titled "My Dyslexia, Part 1." I'm stepping back and starting over to understand better what dyslexia means to me. This will be a six-part series where I will ask myself questions to be answered on the show.
The first question is: How to cope with people's expectations?
These questions are meant to challenge and encourage me to embrace my dyslexia and simultaneously walk free of the lies I have believed about myself because of dyslexia.
Thank you for joining me and for your continued support.
Hope
Today's episode is titled "The Promise Keeper, Pt 6." This is the last in a six-part series on The Promise Keeper. I hope that you have been blessed. No matter what we are facing, there will always be a promise that we can claim found in the word of God. One of my favorites is “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go… Psalm 38:8. What is your favorite, claim, and share it today.
Thank you for coming along with me on this journey of claiming God’s promises.
Hope
Today's episode is titled "The Promise Keeper, Pt 5." Nothing will ever make us worthy of God’s promises… They are made available to us because of His love and mercy. We show our faithfulness to God when we claim His promises, and in turn, He shows His faithfulness by keeping His word.
Thank you for coming along with me on this journey of claiming God’s promises.
Hope
Today's episode is titled "The Promise Keeper, Pt 4." When we face hardship, our faith in God’s promise is tested. Will we turn to Him and claim His promise, or will we turn away from Him and murmur and complain?
Thank you for coming along with me on this journey.
Hope
Today's episode is titled "The Promise Keeper, Pt 3." Imagine that we went to the Lord but left His presence empty-handed. Believe it or not, many of us do exactly that… God’s promises are a gift to us, but if we don’t accept them, we leave His presence without the very things we need and ask for.
Thank you for coming along with me on this journey of claiming God’s promises.
Hope
Today's episode is titled, The Promise Keeper, Pt 2. I am reminded that we don't claim Jesus's promises as He intended us to. One of those promises is that He is near to the brokenhearted... I am also reminded that He doesn't need our words, although He loves the sound of our voice, to meet our needs. All we have to do is acknowledge our need for Him.
Thank you for joining me on our walk to experiencing the promises of God, for He is the great promise keeper.
Hope
Today's episode is titled The Promise Keeper, Pt 1. Who likes to wait? I once read a sign that said, Give me patience, and I want it right now." Well, the bible is full of stories of people waiting on God to fulfill His promises... What they learned was that He was always worth the wait. Has God promised you something, and you're struggling with what seems to be delayed in His promises being fulfilled? Don't lose heart; if He promised, you shall see the glory of the Lord. He has never broken a promise, and He never will. He will teach you to worship Him while you wait.
Thank you for joining me for another episode of Dyslexia: Uniquely Gifted.
Hope
Today's episode is titled 'In Every Trial." If we would only believe in Christ's promises. We are not alone nor forsaken. He is with us in our good days and our bad. If we only had the eye of faith, we would see Him in every trial.
Thank you again for joining me as we experience God's word that uniquely gifts us to share the gospel.
Hope
Today's episode is the conclusion of the series The Courage to Change. Change is difficult for everyone, especially for those who have dyslexia. Yet, change is necessary and possible. The source of our courage to change will always be Christ. He stands ready to give us His courage to make the exchange at the cross. We will give Him what we are afraid of, and He will give His courage. Now that is good news.
Thank you for joining me on another podcast, Dyslexia: Uniquely Gifted. I pray that you have been blessed.
Hope
Today's episode is titled The Courage to Change, P4. It's time we get excited about life, about the power of God's word to transform us. We have allowed dyslexia to have too much power over us. God is waiting and ready to transform us into His character so that we are at liberty in Him. We are walking free.
Thank you for joining me as we continue our exploration into change.
Hope
Today's episode is titled The Courage to Change, P3. Do you ever pay attention to the thoughts running through your mind? Most often, they don't speak well of us. Individuals with dyslexia rehearse more negative thoughts than positive ones about themselves. I consider this a bad habit that needs breaking. This can only be done by replacing negative thoughts with the truth found in God's word.
Thank you for joining me again as we explore the courage God gives us to change.
Hope
Today's episode is titled, The Courage to Change, Part 2. Change can be exciting and frightening at the same time. The good news is we don't have to face change alone. We don't even have to use our courage... Isn't that amazing?
The courage to change is ours if we believe. This doesn't mean it will be easy, but with Christ, all things are possible.
Thank you again for joining me on this journey to discover our healing and peace for adults with dyslexia.
Hope
Today's episode is titled The Courage to Change. Today you will discover that you are a courageous person. Look how far you've come and the things you have accomplished. The thing to remember is that we are only given enough courage for today. You can't borrow any from yesterday because each day's needs differ. Just remember, the courage you are in possession of is the Lord's. Use it wisely, and He will continue to provide it when you need it.
Thank you for joining me. You weekly presence means a lot.
Hope
Today's episode is titled Who is Christ part 3. Jesus told His disciples that He was the way, the truth, and the life. The question is, do you believe Him? Does knowing that He is the truth? Knowing that He is the only way. Knowing that He is life... Inspire you to live for Him.
Thank you for joining me on this journey of discovering who Christ is.
Hope
Today's episode is titled Who is Christ? This is the second part of a four-part series answering this question. David, our shepherd leader, gives us some insight into who the LORD is. The question we must ask ourselves is whether He is enough. Do we trust what we know about Him?
Thank you for joining me as we explore this important question and find the answers we need to remain faithful to Him.
Hope
Today's episode is titled, Who is Christ? This is part 1 of a 4-part series. With the Bible as our guide, we will discover who Christ is. We are challenged to answer this question every day. How will you respond? Do you believe what the bible says about Christ? Are you holding fast to the truth about Him? It is our privilege to accept the truth about Him and remain faithful no matter trial or disappointment.
Thank you for joining me in getting to know our Lord and Savior more intimately.
Hope
Today's episode is titled, When our Thirst is Satisfied, the final episode on the Woman at the Well. Yes, Christ does satisfy our thirsty souls. Isn't that good news? Now it is up to us to tell others so they, too, can receive the living water that is promised to us all.
Hope
Today's episode is titled "I am He." Such a pronouncement is easily overlooked, but the fact that Jesus felt more comfortable sharing information about His messiahship with a stranger, a woman, a non-Jew, says a lot. The Woman at the well reception of who He is also says a lot... She had no reason to believe a Jew, a race that hated her but believed Him; she did. When we are ready to believe Jesus will come.
Hope
Today's episode is titled, The Messiah has Come." When you think about Jesus having come to this world we call home, how would you describe your thoughts and feelings? It is most remarkable that He loves us so much and gave up so much to come here. To be looked for, yet not be known when He came, must have broken His heart.
When He comes to us, will you recognize Him? Let us pray we do.
Hope
Today's episode is titled "True Worship." The Lord wants us to bring our entire self (mind, body, and soul) into our worship experience. It's not a place that defines our worship but a person. That person is Jesus Christ. Why do you worship Christ? When was the last time you shared with someone why you worship? You may be surprised who needs to hear your story.
Thank you for coming along with me on the journey of the Women at the Well.
Hope
Today's episode is titled " Holding Nothing Back." There are some things in our past that we have never surrendered to the Lord. We know it’s there, like a distant sound… that never goes away. Olivia stands in the presence of the One who can make her free, but is she ready? Join me as we continue our exploration of John 4, the Woman at the Well.
Hope
Today's episode is titled " Nothing Left to Hide." Who doesn't have something to hide? Something that you wish no one knew or would ever find out. Then there is Jesus, who knows all. The difference is that when Jesus brings our stuff out in the open, He does it in such a way that we do not feel condemned. We long for restoration because we know He cares.
The Woman at the well, like us all, must decide if she wants the living water, only Jesus can give. She must decide that the things she has been hiding from, her past, will no longer control her.
Thank you again for handing in there with me on this journey... Until next week.
Hope
Today's episode is titled "The Great Satisfier." Who doesn't want to be satisfied, whether it is something that you're eating, drinking, or an activity you're participating in? Why do it if you will not gain some satisfaction from it?
The Woman at the well, like us all, comes to the end of self and recognizes that life is not satisfying. The question is, who will we turn to, and will we allow Him to be enough?
Thank you again for handing in there with me on this journey...
Hope
This week's episode is titled "Jesus is Enough." Our discussion continues on John 4, the Woman at the Well. When the body and spirit are well-hydrated with the love, grace, and mercy of God, we realize that Jesus is enough. Are you thirsty for the living water? Then tell Jesus, and He will meet you where you are, and your soul will be refreshed.
Thank you for coming along with me on this journey.
Hope
This week's episode is titled "The Well is Deep." For some of us, Jesus has to go deep before He can pull us up. Very humbling when you think about it, and He would go even deeper if He had to. Our job is to let Him. Let Him go as deep as He needs to. This week we continue our discussion on John 4, The Woman at the Well. I've learned a lot from her (Olivia); I've given her name. I think this meeting was an answer to her prayers, and Jesus is ready to answer her deepest need, and He is ready to do the same for you.
Thank you for joining me on this journey.
Hope
Today's episode is titled "If You Only Knew." This is part 3 of our discussion on John 4, the Woman at the Well. There is a really old saying, 'what you don't know won't hurt you.' Experience and what I have learned from the Woman at the Well... that's not exactly true. I think we shy away from learning too much about ourselves. But that's why Jesus came, and He loves us as we are, but with every intention of transforming us.
I hope you're enjoying the Woman at the Well (Olivia), as I like to call her as much as I am. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
Hope
This week's episode is titled "The Encounter." Meeting Jesus is never an accident. He has it all planned. What will you do when Jesus catches up with you?
Thank you for tuning in to another episode of Make Room for More Podcast.
Be blessed
Hope
Today's episode is titled "When Jesus meets us at the well." Jesus has promised that if we trust Him, we will live abundant lives. As the Woman at the well found out, only Jesus can give us living water, and only Jesus can give us an abundant life.
Thank you for joining me for another episode of 'Make Room for More' podcast.
I pray that your day and week are blessed.
Hope
Today's episode is titled 'Year End Message.' Today I wanted to thank you for your support and prayers through 2022 and share with you some plans I have for 2023.
As the year closes, please know that this podcast would not be possible without you. I have grown a lot since starting this podcast, and I hope you have been blessed.
So this is just a very short message; I will post again tomorrow- until then.
Hope
Today's episode is titled Face today with Confidence. Are you ready for the new year? Ready or not, it will be here soon, and some of us are not so sure about ending the old and starting something new.
Yet there is someone who has already gone into our tomorrows, who knows all and because of that, we can face each day with His confidence. Isn't that good news?
Thank you for joining me today for another episode of Make Room for More Podcast. I pray your day is blessed.
Hope
Today's episode is titled The Gift of Peace. What a perfect gift to give someone as this year comes to a close. In this episode, I share that our life is made up of so much more than dyslexia. Yet it is because of dyslexia that we are equipped to face other life challenges.
Thank you for joining me for another Make Room for More Podcast. May your week be richly blessed.
Hope
Today's episode is titled Good Courage. Never be afraid to let it be known that you're running low on courage. When you do, God will give you His good courage. This is no ordinary courage but a good courage that comes from trusting Christ.
A Promise:
"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." Joshua 1:9
I hope that you are blessed by this short devotional.
Hope
Today's episode is titled 'Our Daily Walk Towards Forgiveness. I've always believed that forgiveness is a choice we make based on what Christ has done for us. I also believe that forgiveness is like an onion that you peel layer by layer. You will shed a few tears along the way, but instinctively, you know it won't last long. Something is better up ahead when we choose to live in the power of Christ's forgiveness.
Thank you for joining me. I pray you are blessed.
Hoe
Today's episode is titled "Transforming Power of Prayer.' Imagine having a conversation with someone who has the power, and capability to change your life. Would you talk with that person more or would you shy away, feeling uncertain, and uncomfortable about knowing such a person? One thing I liked about Moses he wasn't afraid to ask hard questions. He wanted to know and He knew that only Christ could satisfy him with the answers he needed. Exodus 33-34
What about you? Have you ever asked God to show you His glory? Or refuse to take another step until you hear from God that He will go with you. You will be transformed when you speak with God. You're supposed to be. Settle for nothing less.
Thank you for joining us. I pray you are blessed.
Hope
Today's episode is titled 'When it gets Hard.' Yes, life gets hard, but I have learned that it doesn't get impossible. Therefore, there is always hope, that eternal hope that comes from knowing Christ—letting us know that we will make it.
Thank you for joining me for another Make Room for More podcast. I hope that you're blessed.
Hope
Today's episode is titled, The Sameness of God. How do we believe that we can know Christ and depend on Him? Simple. It's a choice. A daily choice... Have you decided that He is as His word says? After giving it much thought, I realized that if I am honest, the Lord has never done anything to earn my distrust. I've done much to prove to Him that I can not be trusted. But through the power of the Holy Spirit, that all can change. God is the same today, He was the same yesterday, and He will be the same tomorrow. Hallelujah!
Today’s episode is titled Are You Steadfast? Be determined to go where Jesus has sent you. Oh, but do you know where to go? Maybe that’s the problem; most of us don’t know because we have other plans. Or we are afraid of the direction Jesus is leading. Jesus looked to Calvary, and He never took His eyes off the cross. He did that for you and me. Maybe it’s time to change direction, and instead of walking away from Christ, I will walk with Him. The promise is that we won’t want to have to be steadfast in our strength. There is liberty in walking with Christ; won’t you experience it today?
Thank you for joining me for another episode of the Making Room for More Podcast. I pray you are blessed.
Hope
Today’s episode is titled Give it Back. Why do we hold on so tightly to the very thing we need to let go of… If we would but open our hand and heart to the Lord, what liberty we would experience? Go ahead, cast, throw yourself on Jesus; He will catch you. Every time. Until you are certain, you will abandon yourself in the will of God.
Thank you for joining me for another episode of the Making Room for More Podcast. I pray you are blessed.
Hope
Today’s episode is titled A Promise and A Plan. Why do we think it strange when things don’t go according to our plan? Why do we build imaginary walls around our hearts, thinking we can keep pain and suffering out? It’s an illusion. Let’s face it, pain and suffering come to us all, and if we allow them, they will make us better acquainted with Jesus and more like Him. So instead of warring against Christ’s method of removing blemished spots from our hearts, ask for the courage and strength to walk with Him. To cooperate with Him. To move in His direction no matter the cost.
Thank you for joining me, and I hope you are blessed.
Hope
This week's episode is titled The Next Step. What is preventing you from placing your feet on the next step... Most often it is fear. We fear what we can't see, the next step. If you know that God is calling you to take the next step and His timing is now, then what are you waiting for? Trust and obey.
Thank you for joining me today, for Make Room for More Podcast.
Hope
Today's episode is titled When Christ's Edits our Life. Edits are essential if our life is going to be read by others. Why? Because we want our life to say what is true and accurate about the Lord. These edits are not fun, and sometimes they are not welcome. However, if we work with God instead of against Him, those edits, occasionally painful, will work for our good and God's glory.
Thank you for joining me today. I pray you're blessed. If you know someone with adults, please share these podcasts with them.
Hope
Today's episode is titled Resolve. Aren't you tired of living in the past? Of carrying the past around with you.... Yes, dyslexia is a lifelong ability; however, it is not a death sentence and we should not live our lives without hope because we have dyslexia.
Thank you for joining me today. I pray today is the best day of your life because you have chosen to be free in Christ.
Hope
Today's episode is titled, The Will of God. When we take the time to discover Jesus's will for us concerning any need or want we may have and pray according to His will; He has promised to grant us our petition. Trusting our life in our Father's care is to desire to know Him and to do His will.
Thank you for joining me... Have a blessed day and rest of the week.
Hope
Today's episode is titled, The Power of Christ's Ascension. When Christ died on the cross, His work on our behalf was not finished. Part of the gospel was that He had to return to His Father to intercede on our behalf. Isn't that good news? Yes, we have accepted Christ as our Savior, but as the woman caught in adultery, Christ said to her, go and sin no more... He didn't send her on her way to figure it all out by herself. She started following Jesus that day and took her place among the group He was teaching that day. He told them, "... I am the light of the world: he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." John 8:12. His ascension is just as essential to our salvation as His death.
Thank you for joining me today. May you be blessed.
Today's episode is titled, The Power of Christ's Resurrection. Are you ready to live a life full of power? Jesus just didn't die for us; He rose for us so that we would know the power of His life, death, and resurrection. By faith, our life can be powerful... We can overcome anything that holds us back from living Christ's life... If we believe.
Thank you for joining me today.
Hope
Today's episode is titled, The Lamb that Died. It is a continuation of last week's podcast on our exploration of Jesus's death and why we must take His death seriously.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. I pray you are blessed.
Hope
Today's episode is titled, Why Did Jesus Die? The answer is simple. Love. Thank you for joining me today; as we explore, look at the most profound demonstration of love we will ever know.
Hope
Today's episode is titled 'Jesus's Victorious Life.' As often as I've tried to bring this part of the gospel to a logical conclusion by answering the question, 'Why is Christ's life so powerful unto salvation? ' I've discovered just today that it is an impossible task. There is no conclusion because there is no end to Jesus's powerful and victorious life. I find that very comforting.
I encourage you, by faith, to take hold of Christ's life, and He will live out His victorious life in and through you today.
Hope
Today's episode is titled, Advancing through Adversity. It's hard to associate Jesus with the struggles we go through. We prefer to think of Him as someone that only allows the good to come our way. But adversity, like nothing else, will show us our true selves.
When trusting God seems to bring us more hardship than the peace we long for. Hold on, Jesus is answering our prayers, just not how we intended. We will learn that the peace we long for will only be ours when we surrender our will to Him.
Thank you for listening to another episode of Make Room for More.
Have a blessed day in the Lord.
Hope
Today's episode is titled 'When Christ Meets Us in the Fire.' How willing are we to allow God to use our life to prove a point. Something to think about. Disappointment, difficulties, and hardship come to us all... but what if God is using our dyslexia to prove a point. Will we cooperate with Him?
Thank you for tuning in to discover how blessed we are when we yield our life to Christ so that others may know Him.
Hope
Today's episode is titled When we are faithful to God. Yes, that is correct, not when Christ is faithful to us but when we show ourselves faithful to Him. What happens...? The blessing flow. We become courageous in times of adversity and love others when they have let us down. So take up the challenge today, to show forth your faithful to God.
Thank you for tuning in to another episode of Make Room for More....
Hope

Hope
This episode is titled, The Power of Christ's life, Part 3. This is a continuation of building our faith in the gospel by looking in the bible to discover why Paul believed that the gospel is the power of God unto salvation. How does Christ's life fit into this truth?
Part 3 examines Christ's power to heal and when He chooses not to heal. How will we respond?
Thank you for tuning in to this episode. If it is a blessing to you, please pass it on to other dyslexics.
Have a blessed week.
Hope
Today's episode is titled, The Power of Christ's life, part 2. Because Jesus is a man that can not lie when He speaks it is always the truth that is filled with power. Therefore, we can believe Him? Why? Because He said so.

Thank you for joining me and passing this podcast on to other fellow dyslexics.

This doesn't mean we have to be in prefect health to share the gospel, it mean giving God our best in services. This will often require us to make a lifestyle changes resulting in better mental and/or physical health for Christ.
I pray you are blessed..

This week’s devotional is titled ‘Deliverance.’ Jesus longs to deliverance us from our fears. Like King David, we sometimes seek after God wanting Him to take away our circumstances. But God wants so much more for us, and that is why He often gives us His strength to climb the mountain instead of removing it. The deliverance He wants for us goes deeper than the circumstances we find ourselves in. Jesus stands ready to deliver us from all our fears until we are no longer afraid.
I pray that you are blessed by this short devotional.
If you would like to read these and other devotionals, please visit my website at www.wr7publication.com.
This week’s episode is titled “Adversity.” The bible speaks a lot about adversity. It uses such terms a hardship, trials, and disappointments. We are either going into a trial, in the middle of a trial, or emerging from one. Adversity comes to us all.
Does God have a plan to use the adversity in our experience? I encourage you to listen to this episode to discover how adversity can change our lives for the good.

Your life will never be the same.

This week’s devotional is titled ‘Pray.’ The most powerful conservation you will ever have is the one you have with Jesus. Why? Because it's transforming.
Opening up our hearts to Jesus, our Friend, will encourage, comfort, enlighten, and yes, even challenge us. The question is, are we ready to be transformed? If the answer is yes, then there is no time like now. Talk to Christ as you would to a dear, trusted Friend because that is who He is and more.
I pray that you are blessed by this short devotional.
If you would like to read these and other devotionals, please visit my website at www.wr7publication.com.
This week’s devotional is titled ‘Now.’ I have favorite words in the bible, and one of them is the word ‘now.’ Why you might ask… Well, this word ‘now’ means at the present or moment. For example, Christ is here with us now, not later on or in a minute. He is here right now. That’s important to know and believe if a person feels alone or is faced with a challenging decision. The power of knowing that Christ is living in our moment changes everything.
I pray that you are blessed by this short devotional.
If you would like to read these and other devotionals, please visit my website at www.wr7publication.com.
This week’s devotional is titled “The Rock.” The bible isn’t silent about the trials, disappoints, and hardships we may face. Neither is it silent on God’s ability to comfort, encourage and intervene on our behalf.
Yet we wait before going to Him, thinking that we can work it out, not always realizing that we left Him out. When we do go to Him, we cry out to Him as an afterthought.
King David said, when I am overwhelmed, lead me to the Rock. David knew that standing on the Rock, looking down, he would see things from Christ’s perspective. He knew then he would be alright—nothing more to fear.
We, too, can have that same experience. Go to the Rock. Today!
I pray that you are blessed by this short devotional.
If you would like to read these and other devotionals, please visit my website at www.wr7publication.com.
This devotional is titled ‘Strength.’ Why? Because we all know what it’s like to feel weak. Weak in faith, weak in our resolve to do what is right, weak in our relationships, weak in moving forward.

I pray that you are blessed by this short devotional.
If you would like to read these and other devotionals, please visit my website at www.wr7publication.com.
This week’s devotional is titled ‘The Plan.’ We make plans for everything except to trust in God. We take for granted that in difficult times we will trust Christ until the trial comes.
If this is your experience, it’s not too late to start making plans. Remember, if we fail to plan, we plan to fail. However, God is ready to change that…
I pray that you are blessed by this short devotional.

This episode will cover the seventh stage of grief called Recurring or what I call the Recycling of Grief – We will move in and out of grieving at different life stages—significant events or changes, such as when we start college or a new career. When we reach a milestone in our lives and further Adjustment needs to occur, all these events may trigger a grief reaction. Holidays, a birthday, and family gatherings might also make us revisit the loss of a dream. So don’t be discouraged. Keep moving forward. And remember, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to take this journey by yourself. Share how you’re feeling with a trusted friend, family member, Pastor, or Counselor. Maybe this episode will help. Listen and be blessed.

This episode will cover the sixth stage of grief called Adjustment. When we enter this phase, we begin to recognize our new “normal.” We can tell ourselves that we are still kind and caring. We still have talents, skills, and abilities that dyslexia has not taken away. We can honestly say that we are enjoying life. We notice that it’s easier to talk about our disability, thoughts, and feelings and share our positive lived experiences with others. We have to allow God to define hope and success for us. Are you struggling to come to terms with your feelings about dyslexia? Maybe this episode will help. Listen and be blessed.
This short devotional is called the net. Simon Peter admitted to the Lord what He was commanding made no sense; nevertheless, Peter exchanged his will for that of Jesus.
Jesus used this illustration to broaden His disciple’s understanding of His gospel commission. And that He is aware of our temporal needs. If we place our faith and trust in Him… He will take care of us… We, in turn, will use the gifts and talents He has given to share the gospel. He has promised a good harvest if we but trust Him and allow Him to define our success.
During this episode we will be discussing an important topic not included in Dr. Moses’s seven stages of grief which is Depression. As an adult, we may feel certain emotions as it relates to our disability. When people are depressed, tears may come frequently; sometimes, everyday activities hold no interest. There may be physical symptoms such as sleeplessness or even illness. Again, it is normal to feel this sadness; only very long-term signs of Depression are cause for concern. Are you struggling to come to terms with your feelings about dyslexia? Maybe this episode will help. Listen and be blessed.
This short devotional is called the light reminding us that no matter how dark things may appear, God’s love, mercy, and grace are always shining… He alone has the power to pierce our darkness, and He waits for us to call out to Him in trust, believing that He is enough. Let Christ’s light and life shine in your heart today.
This episode will cover the fifth stage of grief called Fear - Ken Moses writes, “When we permit ourselves to risk…permit ourselves to have dreams, and it doesn’t work, the fear is that the pain will be so great we’ll never permit ourselves to risk hoping, or dreaming, ever again.” The feelings of fear, and the sharing of that fear, are ways to find the inner strength and courage to begin and continue to love ourselves. Are you struggling to come to terms with your feelings about dyslexia? Maybe this episode will help. Listen and be blessed.
Are you depressed? This short devotional will encourage you to examine your thoughts. Are you telling yourself the truth, the truth found in God's word about your self, your situation and your future? If not, then consider the words of Christ, I have come to give you life, an abundant life.
Christ has placed measureless worth and value on your life. Now it's time you do the same.
This episode will cover the fourth stage of grief called Guilt – We may feel guilty because of how we are coping with the diagnosis, treatment. We may be experiencing some emotional detachment towards a family member who doesn’t understand what we are going through. We may feel guilty because of a sense of hopelessness. We may feel guilty because we have been dealing with the same emotional responses for years, and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better. This may lead to Depression or has led to Depression. Are you struggling to come to terms with your feelings about dyslexia? Maybe this episode will help. Listen and be blessed.
Our hurt and suffering has not been kept away from God. He is closely acquainted with everything that affects us. The Apostle Paul calls it our light affliction. And when we allow Christ to carry our burdens, we too will exclaim as Paul did, 'our light affliction works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.'
This episode will cover the second stage of grief called Anxiety. As adults with dyslexia, we can still experience Anxiety because we may view dyslexia as an obstacle to what we want to accomplish. We may see ourselves as inadequate. These anxious thoughts may pervade our thinking when dealing with the physical and emotional impact of the disorder. Are you struggling to come to terms with your feelings about dyslexia? Maybe this episode will help. Listen and be blessed.
This episode will cover the first stage of grief called Denial - As adults, we accept both the diagnosis and permanence but may deny its impact on our lives. We may deny our feelings or how much it hurts. Are you struggling to come to terms with your feelings about dyslexia? Maybe this episode will help. Listen and be blessed.

Face today in quietness and confidence, with faith and your hope anchored in the Lord. Why? Because our mental-well being as dyslexics is important to the Lord. It will take His courage to stop hiding behind our disappointments, disillusionment, shame, and fears.
So take courage and He will strengthen your hearts.
