The Material Revolution

Our podcast, hosted by the award winning artist/designer/educator Katherine Soucie, is dedicated to creating awareness about textiles to inspire knowledge, encourage creativity and to build material community. We live in a time where there is a lot of misinformation and disconnection to our textiles and materials. Our goal is to capture motivating and inspiring conversations from individuals who have developed an expertise and intimate knowledge of fibres, processes, techniques and technologies related to textiles. You can look forward to interviews with materials, artists, designers, educators, scientists, entrepreneurs and creative thinkers to reveal and uncover the truth behind materials that continue to shape history and revolutionise our everyday experience. Through this, we aim to empower material knowledge, develop awareness about processes and resources and to promote sustainable, responsible practices such as creative use and reuse. The podcast is independently developed and produced.  It is through your support that will help us continue to create meaningful and impactful content. #TMR info@materialrevolution.com
