Abigail was a woman of great character and strength who saved her family from David’s
wrath – an example for all women.
A King, a rooftop, and a bath lead to sinful lust, deceit, murder, and much sorrow, but God through repentance changed how the story ended.
An adulterous woman, with no name, encounters Jesus in a life-and-death situation.
What an example of compassion and forgiveness we can glean from?
Tamar is a gentile woman that tricked Judah to fulfill the obligation to continue the bloodline. Which we later learn is listed in the lineage of Christ.
The Woman of Samaria (a meeting at the well)
The Samarian woman with a reputation met a man at the well that knew everything about her
and He accepted her and changed her life.
Ruth was a non-Hebrew daughter-in-law of Naomi that chose God and trusted Him with her
future and was content with whatever would come her way.
Rahab was a non-Hebrew woman that had heard about the one and only God and what He
could do – she risked it all to have Him change her life!
Hagar is the first non-Hebrew woman that has an encounter with God – He saw her and He
changed her life.
A story of two sisters and one man. We see yet again a woman who is barren and the
consequences of when love is not enough. Let’s see Leah from a different perspective.
Rebekah’s story begins as a beautiful love story dealing with barrenness yet again. How
favoritism plays a role in one family.
Sarah is a loyal wife who was barren when God was promising to bless “their” descendants.
The experience of waiting on God and what steps are taken to “help” God.
Eve shows us a comparison of what life was like in the Garden of Eden and how it changed
with the failure of temptation: the entry of sin. Even though we no longer live in the Garden,
we can experience the love of God and His joy and peace if we honor and obey Him.
Loving the Unlovable is a difficult topic within ourselves but when we break down what love...true love is, it will change everything!
God is an ever-present help when we are dealing with forgiveness. Self-forgiveness starts by accepting God’s unfailing love. Join us as we talk about self-forgiveness.
Join us as we will share how we “Seek Him” in our daily life and why that is so important to do so.
I am so grateful that Jesus transforms our lives and allows that transformation to transform the lives of others!
Jesus is our forgiving friend! We are commanded to forgive others as Jesus has forgiven us. So, let's see what forgiving like Jesus looks like.
Jesus is a friend that restores. He changes us or restores us back to who God designed us to be. We too, need to come along others as a friend and help as they are restored in this life as a new creation.
Join us this month (in the middle of summer vacations) as we talk about being “On vacation with God”. We will share our tips and thoughts on how to bring along the most important guest!
This week we will see how Jesus demonstrated loyalty to others even when they were not loyal to Him. Just like Jesus, our loyalty should not be based on how others treat us but based on the loyalty Jesus has demonstrated toward us.
This week we will look at how Jesus is a comforting friend and we can comfort others with the same comfort in which He extends to us.
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Join us as we get an update on Amanda Garrett’s testimony journey since she last joined us on Moving Forward. She will share how even in unanswered prayers that God continues to keep his promises.
This week on a Friend Like Jesus we will explore how Jesus showed compassion on those the world forgot and how we too can demonstrate compassion to others.
In our summer podcast series we will explore being a friend like Jesus. We will learn the different ways Jesus demonstrated loving others and how we can demonstrate that same love as His children.

For it is only by God's grace and mercy that we are able to call out in our times of trouble and know that He will be there. It is only by God's mercy that we can be saved through the blood of Jesus Christ who gives grace for grace.
Pause and take a moment to let that word sink in...HOLY! God is holy and is worthy of our all!
Our Wise Lord! When we finally surrender to the knowledge that God's thoughts and ways are far above ours, we can begin to see beauty in the unknown because we have faith in our all knowing Father.
Because our God is trustworthy, because our God is truth...we can trust every word that He has proclaimed!
How amazing to know that God is always with us! To never worry if He has time for us. God is outside the constraints of time, yet He knows how time feels through Jesus. There is no place we can go that our God will not be there to hear us, to hold us, and/or to help us.
In an ever changing world where we may not know what tomorrow brings, we can have hope and feel secure knowing that we serve an unchanging, unwavering, steadfast God.
Is our God still a God of miracles? Do you believe that God still can? Do you believe He still will?
Listen this week as we discuss our Miraculous Father who was and still is a miracle worker.

Salt is meant for seasoning! When we don't share what the Lord is blessing us with, our salt can get too high. Join us for Part Two, where we discuss the warning signs of sodium that is elevated.
In Matthew 5:13, Jesus tells us that we are the salt of the earth but are we really salty? Just as our bodies can show symptoms when our sodium is too low or too high, our spirits can be affected in the same way. In part one we will explore how we determine if our salt is too low!
