I started Touching Base: PR Edition in July of 2020. Stuck with nothing to do during the pandemic, I knew I wanted to make a difference and advance my career at the same time. At the time, I was doing a remote internship and trying to learn everything I could about public relations while attending a school that didn’t offer a PR major. I was paving the way for myself in the industry and wanted to help others do the same. Flash forward, almost three years later, I graduated from my masters program, moved to a new place and started my first full-time job. The kicker is that I no longer work in public relations. I’m working in game promotions and presentation for the Hudson Valley Renegades which is a cross between marketing and entertainment. Hosting my own show about public relations started to feel off.
So where does that leave us? I will be re-launching Touching Base: PR Edition as simply “Touching Base”. The Touching Base Podcast will be a podcast for anyone looking to break barriers, honing in on those with careers in public relations, marketing, social media, communications and sports. Through the same fun and informative podcast episodes and interviews, listeners will gain the best understanding of the rapidly changing industries and the steps to make their own marks within it.
I’ve said so many times on the show that public relations is evolving as it becomes more interspersed with social media and with marketing, which is exactly how I ended up in the role I am in now. Thank you for supporting this change and I hope you enjoy TOUCHING BASE.

I graduated from Binghamton University in December of 2020 with a BA in English and I am looking to work in sports marketing, communications and social media!
In May of 2021, I began my journey at St. John's University as an Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant. The following year, in May of 2022, I transitioned into a hybrid marketing/communications/digital media graduate assistant. In my role, I am the sole producer of volleyball home events, in addition to co-producing both men's and women's basketball games. I also work in a social media capacity, primarily working on the Red Storm Tiktok and as a content creator. Thanks to my position, I am also recieving a fully-funded Masters Degree in Sport Management.
Beyond the professional realm, I also am a creator. Since my YouTube comeback in January of 2019, I have been producing content focused on a wide variety of angles. My most popular videos include those depicting life at Binghamton University. My videos show every aspect of my life, encompassing my health and fitness journey and navigating post-grad life, the job-search and grad school.

The following year, in May of 2022, I transitioned into a hybrid marketing/communications/digital media graduate assistant. In my role, I am the sole producer of volleyball home events, in addition to co-producing both men's and women's basketball games. I also work in a social media capacity, primarily working on the Red Storm Tiktok and as a content creator. Thanks to my position, I am also recieving a fully-funded Masters Degree in Sport Management.
During undergrad, I took on leadership roles in various different clubs and organizations, including Dickinson Community Players (a student-run theatre group), Binghamton Dance Marathon (#FTK!), and my sorority, Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi. I have worked with various different groups of people really honing in on my teamwork, leadership development, and communications skills. In addition, I spent two years interning in Binghamton's Athletic Department.

I graduated from Binghamton University in December of 2020 with a BA in English and I am looking to go into a career in the realm of public relations and social media. My passion lies in the field of athletics, whether that be college, professional sports, or athlete branding and marketing. Currently, I am an Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant at St. John's University. In this role, I serve as the primary media contact for both Women's Volleyball and Softball, as well as being additional support for basketball. It is so exciting to be able to learn and grow new skills in the Big East Conference. Thanks to my position, I am also receiving a fully-funded Masters Degree in Sport Management. I graduated from Binghamton University in December of 2020 with a BA in English and I am looking to go into a career in the realm of public relations and social media. My passion lies in the field of athletics, whether that be college, professional sports, or athlete branding and marketing. Currently, I am an Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant at St. John's University. It is so exciting to be able to learn and grow new skills in the Big East Conference. Thanks to my position, I am also receiving a fully-funded Masters Degree in Sport Management. The knowledge I am learning in the classroom is invaluable.
During undergrad, I took on leadership roles in various different clubs and organizations, including Dickinson Community Players (a student-run theatre group), Binghamton Dance Marathon (#FTK!), and my sorority, Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi. I have worked with various different groups of people really honing in on my teamwork, leadership development, and communications skills. In addition, I spent two years interning in Binghamton's Athletic Department.
Beyond the professional realm, I also am a creator. Since my YouTube comeback in January of 2019, I have been producing content focused on a wide variety of angles. I graduated from Binghamton University in December of 2020 with a BA in English and I am looking to go into a career in the realm of public relations and social media. My passion lies in the field of athletics, whether that be college, professional sports, or athlete branding and marketing. However, I am open to learning and growing in different fields and have done internships in Lifestyle PR, higher education, and non-profit work.
Currently, I am an Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant at St. John's University. In this role, I serve as the primary media contact for both Women's Volleyball and Track and Field/Cross-Country, as well as being additional support for basketball. It is so exciting to be able to learn and grow new skills in the Big East Conference. Thanks to my position, I am also receiving a fully-funded Masters Degree in Sport Management. The knowledge I am learning in the classroom is invaluable.
During undergrad, I took on leadership roles in various different clubs and organizations, including Dickinson Community Players (a student-run theatre group), Binghamton Dance Marathon (#FTK!), and my sorority, Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi. I have worked with various different groups of people really honing in on my teamwork, leadership development, and communications skills. In addition, I spent two years interning in Binghamton's Athletic Department.
Beyond the professional realm, I also am a creator. Since my YouTube comeback in January of 2019, I have been producing content focused on a wide variety of angles. My most popular videos include those depicting life at Binghamton University. My videos show every aspect of my life, encompassing my health and fitness journey and navigating post-grad life, the job-search and grad school.
