The Canadian Baseball Network podcast was originally launched for the 2013 World Baseball Classic and will now be a regular feature of The Canadian Baseball Network website. The podcast will feature analysis and updates on baseball in Canada and Canadian’s playing baseball around the world. From the Toronto Blue Jays to your local team, The CBN Podcast will cover all issues and areas of interest to Canadian Baseball fans.
Host Matt Betts has a conversation with Myles Naylor, the youngest of the three Naylor brothers, after Josh and Bo, who both play for the Cleveland Guardians. Myles talks about the impact that his older brothers have had on him and his young baseball career, his experience playing for Team Canada and his preparation for next season. They also dive into Naylor's commitment to Texas Tech and what the future holds for him.

In the interview Derek talks to host Peter Bean about his coaching style and impressive resume of work with the Cardinals, Yale Academy and Sandlots baseball BC. He also talks about the current level of talent in the BC Premier League. He is a two time Olympian and spent 8 year with the Canadian National Team. He also appeared in the 2006 and 2009 WBC. In this episode of the Canadian Baseball Network Podcast we profile the 20th drafted Canadian Kurtis Kostuk. Kurtis was drafted in 38th round (1140th overall) by the Arizona Diamondbacks. Shortly after the draft Kurtis signed his professional contract and began his pro career. He was the first Canadian to sign from the 2013 draft class.
