Zephaniah speaks the ultimate words of warning to the people of Israel. Do you read it? Do you hear it? We have the incredible opportunity to cry out to those that don’t know our wonderful mighty God. These warnings alert us to what we need to do to help the 1 that is not in the 99. Share the words of Christ and pray for God to open ears and eyes.
Look at the issues that Isaiah warned the Israelites about in his time 780 to 800 years before Christ. Look at the similarities of how the people were acting. I do not like that I see such similarities to today.
Do you avoid reading the prophets? Is it because of the dire nature and the tough actions that God made towards the Israelites? I think after studying why God was so tough you come to understand his covenant with them.
How are you meeting God? Are you prepared to bring a sacrifice with thanks or joy or love?
I am investigating motives and directions going forward. I stepped back and wanted to look at Ezekiel 44 again as you can see what God used to help me understand the importance of his sacrifice. Motives and intention are going to be a big part of this next range of podcasts.

Jehoaida was a priest that engaged the leaders of Judah to return the kingship to the line of David. Joash was the king he returned and lead with his passionate worship of God. Joash was a follower that makes a decision once he is on his own as King. Which one will you be?
Is following God a requirement that you accept or reject? Or do you desire his great spirit in your life so much that his minimum requirements are only the starting point?
God gives glorious promises but also wants the work completed. What is the work of God? Do you believe what God promises?
Continuing with the Clear direction we hear in Paul’s messages, do we choose our own ways and justify what we want to do or do we follow God’s ways with all our heart? Do we find out what pleases us or what pleases the Lord? Do you love the Lord with all your heart, mind, and soul?
Do you see God’s Word in contrasting black and white or are your views of God’s word Gray in multiple shades?
Zedekiah was subjected to some terrible crisis points in which he had to make decisions. And he made terrible decisions for Jerusalem and for his family. If he had only listened to Jeremiah... and obeyed God’s word through him.
Jeremiah pleads with Judah to retun to him is many portions. A continual battle in the life of Jeremiah. But the main message was that in that time a people, the people of Judah were generally not listening or obeying. My concern is to look around and see if the message of Jeremiah applies to today.
Changing directions after an Ephesians run as the title impressed on me what we should be doing. Will also be continuing the Scriptures fulfilled discussions but I am also going to kick this off.

Jeremiah talked quite a lot about the closeness that God had wanted for his cherished possession. It unfortunately is from a negative perspective seeing that God was divorcing Judah. So I tempered that withna bit of offsetting proverbs. Made for an interesting study of relationship.

I am choosing to remember both the good works of God done for the Israelites as an example and to remember the same works of power in my life as well as others.

Although there is judgement, there is always a plan for mercy and that even though we don’t deserve Mercy God still prepared to deliver us to bring us back to communion.

Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard. Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I. “If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.”

Refining like silver turns to victory for all those that will believe in Jesus Christ and listen to the Holy Spirit.
Continuing on the Born Again series. We learned of John, and the coming of repentence, now lets find out where Jesus was going to take us.
After discussing being born of water I want to understand the next step in Jesus statement that we should be born of the spirit.
If you are considering ending your life take a moment and consider the future consequences and the only viable alternative that is freely given by our Father through his son Jesus Christ.
November 29, 2019 Jesus describes exactly what must be done to be saved and repeats how true this direction is. I wanted to investigate the key points that lead up to and support baptism in water as one of the essential requirements of salvation.
A court experience impresses on me the seriousness of standing before an ultimate authority in the future and having to account for what I have done. Will I be accepted?
Naaman the Syrian general had an easy choice to make yet it was the servants that reminded him how easy it was to choose. Jesus offers us a very easy choice to believe in the one the Father has sent. The choice is easy to make and God the Father does not leave you there. He provides salvation through the gift of his son, Jesus and high priest in the order of Melchizedek and the kingdom of heaven through communion with the Holy Spirit.
Naaman was a Syrian general that had a choice to make. It was an easy choice and there are many common themes with the current choice you all get to make. To listen to an easy message and make an easy decision or not. Free choice means you get to.
