I wrote this poem when things felt hard in my life. I couldn't stop thinking about the past and people who were no longer in my life. I felt annoyed with people around me for not being like people I had lost. I wrote this poem to remind myself to let go a bit, enjoy new people for who they are and keep my chin up. I hope it will be an encouragement to you too.
