Many have left the faith. But the faith hasn't left everyone. Interviews and discussions with people who have thought, examined, doubted, walked away, but never shaken the hound of heaven; stories of those who have returned to the shepherd and overseer of their souls.
So, this is the first shot. I spent over two hours talking to one of my best friends in the world, Kiel Cary. The conversation was great, the recording was awful. I cut much of it out. My audio was terrible. A crash course in podcasting. We tried to redo it. But we couldn’t replicate what was already in the can from that unscripted deep dive into Kiel’s story. Kiel has deconstructed and denied God’s existence. After returning to faith for years, and having suffered for years, he’s doubted God’s goodness. I’ve known Kiel for nearly 10 years since we met in the Army while deployed to Afghanistan.
