Lucky me is a play on Hip-Hop and Pop culture.Back in the 80's, Janet Jackson was one of the most beautiful celebrities. She married musician James BeBarge but their marriage ended due to his drug abuse. Hence; I say "Lucky Me." The idea is that, I won her over and he lost. The song also celebrates the African sound and how that culture is rich and versatile
Chateau Petrus is the thought-provoking, opening track to the album 'Rhythm and Poetry.' The realness and vulnerability of this song presents evidence as to why CHISENGA is considered a top-tier Hip-Hop artist. You'll have to listen to believe it. Press play and enjoy

Whoop!! Whoop
Dear Mother Earth
I've been thinking about you I know this conversation's long overdue I've been meaning to ask like, what's with the Storms on the news?
Pretty sure I speak for many, when I say That we're confused! Sometimes, It's cold Sometimes it even rains in the summer. The blocks flooded! Different families doing the runner! One mother's focus is to save her only boy, raise A sun up! In the water, you see her tears of joy When his head come up.
Greta Thunberg tried to tell us She even fought with Trump It's like the warning right before The people missed Noah's Ark Electric cars on the streets is just A piece of what you want Reserves running empty You would think we eat 'em for lunch
We'll give you what you need, Give the people what they want Destroying the habitat we livin' in, we shant! Somebody burning down the forest, that's not The model you want
You've been making the weather A lot of weird, a lot of these months I understand, It's a lot going on I'm not even trying to blame you Nah, I'm not trying to blame you I mean, you know the world is a big screw up When the Turtles move house and End up living in the sewer Waterways contaminated, couldn't contain it I guess we're just destructive men! The truth ain't it
Solar Power, pretty sunshine, give me some energy And even though we're different, we connect, same entity I don't want no fear for what the weatherman says We should co-exist and get along! Good friends
Gotta be honest with the kids About the real birds and the bees Like why? All of a sudden, the weather's never at ease And Groot cannot be the only one rooting for the trees It's like, we're waiting for a savior but We're the one's holding the keys! Mother Earth
Mother Earth, Mother Earth Dear Mother Earth Mother Earth, Mother Earth Dear Mother Earth Mother Earth, Mother Earth

Chateu Petrus is Track 1 off the rappers latest album, Rhythm And Poetry. Produced by 80EM and arranged and Mixed by CHISENGA.
[Verse 1: Chisenga] I've been sober for a while, try to lead by example Tackling this life, so my hands full Head on the low, growing up I played Hammer learning dance moves Way before the blockchain, my nigga, cash ruled (Cash rules everything around me, CREAM) Momma don't wanna tell me when she going through things And it affects me, my friends think I got mood swings They don't know I got shit on my mind I question this life and I don't get it, yo Chiler just died, my young brother had a mini-stroke What happens when you pray? You never see results (uh) Thе pastor told me, "Like, Chisenga, keep thе faith, man. It's achievable Learn how to nurture the nature Plant a seed and it's conceivable." Tendency to overthink what is just me alone It's second nature for a Gemini And my evolution can never be televised Public figure with a private life At times I can't sleep, it's all these demons that I fight at night (uh)
[Verse 2] Morning time sunrise, the birds chirping Part of the life equation is to seek truth and find purpose (and find purpose) Used to smoke a doobie just to open up the third eye So I could see the world through a bird's eye High enough so I could kiss the sky Reality struck in the mirror, like "Who is this guy?" I was battling addiction but I was in denial Actin' like I wrote the freakin' book of life, but what would I know? A lot of shit thrown at me, but then I didn't blink I was hit with everything except the kitchen sink So what, I'm a flawed human, and I'm a young Entrepreneur, call me the next Mark Cuban I got friends that I ain't spoken to in years It's like this unwritten code because the love is still there And I'm not the perfect child, but then my momma still care And when she mad at me, I respect her enough to feel fear And it ain't the type of fear that you're scared It's the fear to lose that one true love that's been there Uh (Woop woop!) Ayy
[Verse 3] Growing up, I was creative, man, I knew the art But it's hard to make a dog out of the wood bark Toxic people, I cut them out of my life And that goes for him and her, and I don't care if you're my... (Shhh) I'll leave you to your own device, you fill in the blanks Soon as I walk they want one more chance, damn Huh, it's no coincidence Think about it and don't treat it just like some isolated incident This is the road to success You would think that it's brutal if you don't own it and invest Chateau Petrus with Phillipé when we celebrate Partnerships you only dream about like when you meditate (uh) Partnerships you only dream about like when you meditate One bottle out of a dozen One sip, a nigga buzzin' Elevate This is food for thought, you should get a plate
[Outro]

I was going to include this song on my upcoming album but I have been told that the doing a cover now means that I would have to record and perform the lyrics exactly a the original :(
I wanted to make a cover version of Dr. Dre's Big Egos with a mix of my own reality and more of a reflection of where I'm coming from.
So, it will not go onto my album. As a result, you can have it here on Soundcloud and maybe I might add it to my reverbnation account.
Enjoy and, please subscribe to my Youtube channel. New video's coming soon: http://www.youtube.com/c/CHISENGA
CHISENGA & LJ Mojo are like an unlikely combo that get together and just go ham. People make music but few are as honest as this song goes.
Daddy's Boy is poised to hit radio stations. It's the song that makes every radio Dj's collection different. You know, that one song that's just different from everything else? This is the one.
You'll have to listen to understand the vibe.

A friend heard this song and said "This should be the official James Bond soundtrack."
I always thought I'd be part of the Secret Service or something similar. It never happened and this is the best I can do. Live vicariously through Bond by using my music :)
How many Vinyl titles have you discovered on this song? Please leave your answers in the comment section and enjoy our little piece of art. It's only a few minutes long :)))
I had less than two hours to come up with a beat, create a hook and a verse. I chose to talk about my mother because this is something that hopefuly, most of us can relate to :)

The song is about a long term relationship that goes wrong because one person stopped to pay attention to the details that kept the two together. The rest of the story can be deciphered from the song itself. Omarquez wrote his verse based on verse 1.

The Great Escape is a collaboration between R.Williams and Chisenga. This is the first official recording by R.Williams as Chisenga assists on the second verse. Chisenga and 80EM (Pronounced ATM) cook up the beat and let off with this epic track!
Chisenga is a Hip-Hop artist that many people have described as having a great voice for TV and Radio. This script was taken from an existing call out that he auditioned for. Check it out to get a feel of what the rapper sounds like in his Voice Acting Mode and enjoy!
Purple Rain explores the subject of control in a relationship and all the ups and downs that cause issues between boys and girls, men and women.
The song catches both rappers flexing their spitfire vocal abilities. That in itself makes for great entertainment.
Enjoy
Here's something dope for ya'll to lean on. This is no example of what the album sounds like. This is a test!!!
Album on the way ~ Chisenga
Crystal Palace is the second collaboration by Chisenga, the artist formerly known as Crisis Mr. Swagger and Dios Mio. The track finds the two rappers trading bars and flexing their international language skills mixed with some hard hitting bars. This is everything that makes the track fun. It does not follow traditional ways of song making. This track breaks the rules.
This is thoughts on a path as I read a book called 'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelo.
Well, that's how the song realy feels to me... not that I was actually reading the book.
This is something that I created with my Jets Students. Amazing young team! I created the concept and got to bring out the best in these kids. I combined Kingston Town (UB40) with Lean on Me (Ben E. King) and completed it with a touch of Shalalalala by Vengaboys. I don't even know If I added enough la, la's there. Lol Recorded and Produced by Crisis Mr. Swagger Written by Ben E.
