In the past few years, actor Michael Kelly’s work has taken him to Everest, Colombia, and inside of The White House. Probably best known as Doug Stamper on “House Of Cards”, I am looking forward to the next chapter in his career on Amazon’s “Jack Ryan”, and we had a great conversation, where we talked about all of that and more.

A FEW PLACES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE:
Mark Webber is a rare breed. Every time I spent time with him I feel I walk away a better person for it. Beyond just being an accomplished actor, Mark is also a tremendous director whose latest project “The Place Of No Words” recently premiered at Tribeca Film Festival. Shot in Wales and costarring with his real life wife Teresa Palmer and real life son Bohdi, his movie blew me away. We sat down to talk about the movie, but also his family’s struggle with homelessness and the experiences on the road that made him the man that he is today.

Philippe Cousteau Jr. (Diver, Host, Philanthropist, Grandson of Jacques Cousteau) drops by to chat about his favorite dives, traveling the world, saving our oceans, and lessons learned from his grandfather Jacques Cousteau.
I have had the pleasure of chatting with Philippe quite a few times and I always walk away learning something new. Not just through the lessons he was passed down from his grandfather but through his own insatiable curiosity. Philippe has a lot on the horizon like consulting on a new project involving the Red Sea (where his grandfather did a lot of work on his Aqua Lung system - which spawned the first SCUBA system), and a new network project which he teases in this conversation, and his new baby girl with wife Ashlan Gorse.

Michael Stahl-David (Narcos, Cloverfield, Chambers) drops by to chat about backpacking trips, living in Colombia while filming ‘Narcos’, finding love there, and more. The last time I saw Michael was on the volleyball court, where I rebroke my ring finger, but pretty sure we won so it was all worth it.
I don’t think I could think of anyone better to kick off ‘Great Adventures’. I met Michael during the press cycle for his film ‘The Light of the Moon’, which he co-starred in with Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn 99). I had the pleasure of hosting a few screenings of the movie with the cast and we got to talking after a few of the events. Michael is one of those people constantly evolving, constantly growing, and constantly exploring.
