In the Third chapter of 2 Thessalonians, Paul speaks to the Church about how they need to pray for protection from the evil one and from evil people. He admonishes then and encourages them to live a lifestyle that is pleasing to God. He warns them against idleness and how they need to work hard and persevere. And he give his final greeting "may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way." Join us this Sunday as we conclude our series and learn the importance of prayer and how to live a godly lifestyle.

2 Thessalonians 2:15 (ESV) 15 So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions that you were taught by us, either by our spoken word or by our letter.
Today, we are continuing the series titled INCREASE ASSURANCE based on the books of 1st and 2nd Thessalonians. In the second chapter of 2 Thessalonians, Paul speaks to the Church about how the need to be strong and courageous and STAND FIRM in their faith. He tells them that they should be aware of people that may try to deceive them. He warns them of the man of lawlessness but gives them hope as Jesus will comeback and destroy him. He tells them to be on guard and be watchful as the end of days is drawing near. Join us this Sunday as we learn how we in the 21st Century can STAND FIRM in our faith.

Today, we are continuing the series titled INCREASE ASSURANCE based on the books of 1st and 2nd Thessalonians. In the first chapter of 2 Thessalonians, Paul speaks to the Church about their relationship with God, as their Father and with Jesus, as their Lord. He also speaks to them about how they are to grow in the walk with Christ. Finally, he concludes by telling the church about the afflictions and persecutions they are going and makes the church aware that it is part of their Journey through and that there is “light at the end of the tunnel.” That light is Heaven at the end. Join us this Sunday as we learn how to prepare for Heaven at the end.

Today, we are continuing the series titled INCREASE ASSURANCE based on the books of 1st and 2nd Thessalonians. In the second half of 1 Thessalonians 5 we Paul share some parting admonitions with the Thessalonian church that also apply greatly to us today. He shares with the church practical life lessons on how to live according to the faith. He also expresses to them how they should prepare their hearts for the second coming of Christ. Today, we are continuing the series titled INCREASE ASSURANCE based on the books of 1st and 2nd Thessalonians. In second half 1 Thessalonians 4 and first half of 1 Thessalonians 5 Paul wrote to the church advising them that they need to be prepared and watchful for the second coming of Christ. This portion of 1 Thessalonians pertains to us as well, as we need to be ready spiritually. We see that his return will be a surprise to many of us and we need to prepare our hearts for Jesus return. Join us this Sunday as we learn how to be prepared for the return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The God who made a virgin to conceive is able to do anything. He is the God of impossibilities. What is that impossible situation in your life? What is it that you are believing God for? Our God is the God of impossibilities. He is a miracle working God.

Fasting is the most neglected of all the spiritual discipline. The goal of fasting is to draw nearer to God. Biblical fasting always has to do with eliminating distractions for a spiritual purpose. Praying and fasting doesn’t bribe God or twist his hand to do what he doesn’t want to do. Rather it's about bringing us closer God.

Matthew 4:19 (ESV) 19 And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” The HEARTBEAT of God is to see his followers go out and make disciples. Jesus did just that in Matthew 4:18-22. He went out and called men to drop what they were doing and to become his followers. He words were "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." He wants us to go fishing and to catch people and have them follow him as well. Evangelism is the heart of God.
Being a fisher of men is just one of the many analogies he used to explain evangelism. Join us this Sunday as we learn what it means to evangelize and become a fisher of men for God. Invite friends and family to Evangelism Sunday.

The love of God is one of the most reoccurring themes in our conversations. We always say that God loves us. But are we seeing the full impact of God’s love in our lives? And what does it mean to say God loves us?
Acts 2:42 (NIV) 42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. The early church in Acts 2 showed us a good example of how to do fellowship. There was authentic fellowship amongst them that brought the supernatural and increase. 2022 – MY YEAR OF … 2021 has been a very difficult year for many of us because of the COVID-19 pandemic which disrupted both 2020 and 2021 with sicknesses and death in addition to the economic and political upheaval accompanying it. Despite all these, God has continued to show us his mercies which are new every morning. God has used us to advance His kingdom in mind blowing ways. The new year that launches 2022 is almost here and we are believing God for a new season of glory.

As we enter in to the Christmas Season let’s celebrate the hope, love, joy and peace that surrounds this season. Let’s fix our eyes on the light of this world and lets have that light shine in and through us. That light is Christ the GREAT LIGHT of Christmas.

Kingdom advancement requires building disciple makers who will build other believers. Equipping disciples is central to multiplying disciples as they grow into maturity.
We continue on our Series on Kingdom Disciple-makers. Two weeks ago we were taught on how to win the lost and our focus this week is on Building Believers.
It is not enough to win people to Christ. After being won to Christ, people must move to the next commitment level where they are built up in their faith. Jesus was a master at this. He challenged His disciples to follow Him so they could learn closely from Him. He spent significant time with them, transferring into them His character and priorities and helping them to be firmly grounded in their faith.
We also see that the early disciples understood the importance of building believers as seen in the Book of Acts. Building Believers is as relevant to us as it was during the earthly ministry of Jesus and the early disciples.

Our Heavenly Father values His relationship with us and He is a giver of good gifts. Our Theme Scripture for the year 2021 says that God is pleased to give us the Kingdom (Luke 12:32). And, if this Kingdom is like a treasure. Then it follows that God is pleased to give us treasure. This is breathtaking. Now, here comes the million dollar question - How are we treasuring this treasure? Why and how can we treasure the Kingdom?

For the Israelites, it was a call to advance into the promise land, a land flowing with milk and honey. What is God calling you to do in life and ministry? The major financial principle in the kingdom is the principle of giving. The world says acquire more but the kingdom of God says give more. We are continuing this sermon series KINGDOM DISCIPLINES and how we can effectvely advance His kingdom when we develop the discipline of giving.
QUIET TIME DISCIPLINE Luke 21:37 (NIV) 37 Each day Jesus was teaching at the temple, and each evening he went out to spend the night on the hill called the Mount of Olives, It is the heart of God for His kingdom to come wherever we are. If we are going to advance the kingdom of God, we must develop our spiritual discipline.
