Bryan Fischer with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Jesus set the bar for valid testimony when he declared it is only by the mouth of two or three witnesses that every fact is confirmed. The testimony must come from actual witnesses, not from somebody who only heard about something from somebody else. If a witness didn’t see it or hear it himself, his testimony doesn’t count. This principle lies at the very foundation of American jurisprudence. In the Constitution, for the crime of treason - the only crime identified in the Constitution - the Founders adopted the standard Jesus set. I quote, “No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act.” We don’t convict someone of treason based on hearsay, and we most certainly do not remove a president from office based on hearsay. But that’s all the Democrats have.
