Hey everyone, I’m Matthew a historian of the Antebellum south and American Slavery and former Park Ranger with the National Park Service. While obtaining my degree at the University of Mississippi I realized that most people believe in what I like to call broken history; history that is not entirely wrong but not completely true. This podcast will be about debunking the untruths we were all taught. Along the way we will talk to a variety of historians and take listener recommendations for episodes and answer any questions.
