It's National Novel Writing Month and Trevor and Bea are writing a novel. We're sharing tips, challenging conventional wisdom, and documenting our progress on what we think is a very exciting project. What have we learned from a string of NaNo wins? What challenges and successes are we facing along the way? Join us as we write Persephone's Champion, a middle-grade fantasy adventure full of mythological creatures, fiendish plots, and an unconventional cast of characters learning a little bit more about themselves.
NaNo has begun! On day 1, Trevor and Bea set some goals for their opening scenes, do their first word sprint, and read aloud from chapter one of Persephone's Champion. Then they review their goals and see how they did, and what they accomplished.
