My first ever panel episode was a hit! I spoke with the World Without Exploitation Youth Coalition (World WE Youth Coalition & Esperanza Fonseca. On the panel today I had four guests. They all brought so much insight and valuable information to the conversation.

Esperanza Fonseca is a survivor of the commercial sex trade and a member of the transnational feminist organization AF3IRM.

Caitlen Macias is an activist, consultant, and the WorldWE Youth Coalition Chair. She is extremely passionate about raising awareness about gender and racial injustices at the national and local levels.

Erin Regan is a New York City-based educator, writer and activist. She believes that education is the best prevention and that if these topics are brought to classrooms, true and lasting change can occur.

Arianna Moore alumni of Cristo Rey New York High School and a first-year student at the College of the Holy Cross. She is a youth activist against human trafficking and racial justice.

This episode is fully loaded as we had a panel episode of 4 guests. We talked about the Youth Coalition, how youth are vital in this fight against exploitation, the sex trade & equality model, survivor-centred policies and more.

I sat down with Syd my friend and warrior in the fight against child exploitation. We navigated many different topics on this episode, some that probably will be censored on social media. We chatted about big tech giants, big pharma, politicians, social media's influence, the children and more. Buckle up because it is a 2-hour conversation. A conversation that should be allowed to happen, although we know in our culture and society that is frowned upon.

Proud to share that today's episode is sponsored by Reclamation Organics - A  small, family-owned business. They believe in being conscious creators with our purchases, rather than consumptive consumers, and we invite you to join us on this mission. Today we sat down with Jaimee Johnson CEO of Sisters of the Streets. She also holds the title of motivational speaker, mentor, advocate, first responded, consultant, social media marketer, and curriculum creator.

Jaimee is also an advocate for those who survived the industry and/or have been victims of sexual exploitation. Her passion is preventing exploitation within our communities which includes co-facilitating Point Loma University's prevention course.

We're committed to raising awareness by educating society of the harsh realities of "the game" and focusing on educating on the importance of all-inclusive solutions to this issue.

Jaimee engages within the community to encourage them to dig deep and look within themselves at their own stigmatization and actions to reduce their participation in the lack of success these individuals face.

Today we spoke on the pimp/trafficker perspective, how culture perpetuates trafficking, her organization, vulnerabilities, victim/victimizer perspective and what we can do to help her organization.

Welcome to my Podcast - AMPLIFY is a new season. We're amplifying survivor voices. My first guest is Lexie Smith - Human Trafficking Survivor and Human Rights Activist.

I sat down with Lexie this week to discuss her story. Trafficked at an early age, in a small hometown neighbourhood. 9 years old her abuse began. We touch on Pornography, the effects of social media, smartphones. We talk about things that are acknowledged in Human Trafficking, what survivors go through after being rescued, or getting out and more.

It was a privilege to speak with Lexie. Please remember that these episodes will include explicit content. Remember that we are so grateful to those who use their voices so we can learn more about this pandemic.

TRIGGER WARNING - SENSITIVE SUBJECT

Today I am joined by the lovely Jessica who works with Act Alberta as a manager in Education and Training. ACT ALBERTA works in collaboration with local, provincial, and national partners to identify, respond to, and prevent human trafficking. They coordinate and provide services to individuals experiencing Human Trafficking. We want to talk about this in a timeless manner so that it doesn't take away from the clients, and survivors, it's not like the movies, it's not Hollywood, it's not glamorous.

We are going to touch on the organization, different types of trafficking, the system, different ways we can educate ourselves, the resources that are available, having these conversations with our children, and how we can ultimately help. I’m going to be giving Jessica the floor today and I’m so honored and thankful that you wanted to share this with me and on this podcast.

Well... if you're living in today's world, you know that we are experience a Pandemic, The Corona Virus, aka COVID-19. And boy has it thrown a loop into everyone's lives. Currently, my children are home indefinitely for the time being, so this is about to get reallll.

This week's episode is what I like to call a Q&A Quarantine episode with me. I'm answering some burning questions that the public wanted to be answered. From body image to motherhood to business, it's all there. Some stuff I missed in my intro episode I covered in this new episode and its a long one.
