Movie review of the 2019 Hindi film Bharat starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif - by Melanie on Pardesi Reviews.
Bharat (transl. India)[a] is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language action drama film written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. It is jointly produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Nikhil Namit and Salman Khan under the banners Reel Life Productions, Salman Khan Films and T-Series. The film stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Disha Patani and Jackie Shroff. It traces India's post-independence history from the perspective of a common man, and follows his life from the age of 18 to 70. Based on the 2014 South Korean film Ode to My Father, principal photography for Bharat began in April 2018. Shooting took place at such locations as Abu Dhabi, Spain, Malta, Punjab and Delhi. Kaif joined the cast soon after Priyanka Chopra opted out of the role after filming commenced, for her impending engagement to Nick Jonas. Filming concluded in March 2019. The film's soundtrack was composed by Vishal-Shekhar, with lyrics written by Irshad Kamil, and released under the banner T-Series. Bharat was theatrically released in India on 5 June 2019, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. It received mixed reviews from critics, with praise directed to Khan and Kaif's performance, while Zafar's adaptation and screenplay received criticism.

Movie review of NGK, a political drama starring Suriya, Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh - by Melanie on Pardesi Reviews.
NGK (an initialism for Nandha Gopala Kumaran) is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language political action film written and directed by Selvaraghavan. Suriya, Rakul Preet Singh, and Sai Pallavi play the lead roles while Devaraj plays a pivotal role. Yuvan Shankar Raja composes the music and Sivakumar Vijayan is the cinematographer. The film is being produced by S. R. Prakashbabu and S. R. Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures. Pre-production and principal photography commenced in January 2018. The film is slated to release on 31 May 2019.

Movie review of the Telugu film Jersey starring Nani and Shraddha Srinath - by Melanie on Pardesi Reviews.
Jersey is a 2019 Telugu-language period sports drama written and directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri which is produced by Suryadevar Naga Vamsi under his production banner Sithara Entertainments. The film stars Nani and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles while Sanusha, Sathyaraj, Sampath Raj, Brahmaji, Viswant and Ronit Kamra play pivotal roles. Film music was scored by Anirudh Ravichander with cinematography handled by Sanu Varghese. Principal photography of the film commenced on 18 October 2018 and is slated for a theatrical release on 19 April 2019. The film received highly positive reviews from critics and audience praising Nani‘s performance, direction and screenplay of the film.

Movie Review of Lucifer, the 2019 Malayalam film starring Mohanlal and Manju Warrier, directed by Prithviraj - by Melanie on Pardesi Reviews.
Lucifer is a 2019 Indian Malayalam-language film directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and written by Murali Gopy. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor through the production house Aashirvad Cinemas, the film marks Prithviraj's directorial debut and features Mohanlal in the lead role as Stephen Nedumpally, alongside a supporting cast including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Vivek Oberoi, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Saniya Iyappan, Saikumar, Kalabhavan Shajohn, and Nyla Usha. Deepak Dev composed the music for the film, and the cinematography was handled by Sujith Vaassudev. Development of the film began in 2016 when Murali pitched a story to Prithviraj at the sets of Tiyaan in Ramoji Film City, it was when he decided to make Lucifer his directorial debut. Title of the film was taken from an unrealised project of director Rajesh Pillai which was also written by Murali with another story. Pre-production of Lucifer began in 2017 and Murali completed the final draft of the screenplay in February 2018. Principal photography began in mid-July that year and lasted till January 2019, with filming carried out in Idukki, Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, and Kollam districts, and Mumbai, Bangalore, Lakshadweep, and Russia. Lucifer released in theatres worldwide on 28 March 2019. Lucifer began streaming on Amazon Prime on May 16.

Movie review of Kumbalangi Nights, a 2019 Malayalam film starring Soubin Shahir and Shane Nigam - by Melanie on Pardesi Reviews.
Kumbalangi Nights is a 2019 Indian Malayalam-language comedy-drama film directed by Madhu C. Narayanan (in his directorial debut) and written by Syam Pushkaran. It is jointly produced by Fahadh Faasil, Nazriya Nazim, Dileesh Pothan, and Pushkaran under their production houses Fahadh Faasil and Friends and Working Class Hero. The film stars Shane Nigam, Soubin Shahir, Fahadh Faasil, Sreenath Bhasi, Anna Ben, and Mathew Thomas in the lead roles.[1][2] The film was released in India and Gulf Cooperation Council territories on 7 February 2019. It met with widely positive response from critics.

Movie Review of the 2019 Tamil film Peranbu starring Mammootty - by Melanie on Pardesi Reviews.
Peranbu (English: Compassion), also titled Resurrection, is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language film written and directed by Ram and produced by P. L. Thenappan. It features Mammootty, Anjali, Sadhana and Anjali Ameer in the lead roles. The film's score and soundtrack are composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. A Malayalam language version of the film has also been made. Peranbu had its world premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam on 27 January 2018, and had the Asian premiere at the Shanghai International Film Festival, China on 17 June. The film was also selected to be screened under the Indian Panorama category of 49th International Film Festival of India. The film released in theatres on 1 February 2019, receiving positive reviews from critics.

Movie Review of the 2019 Hindi film Gully Boy starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt - by Melanie on Pardesi Reviews.
Gully Boy is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language musical drama film written by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, and directed by Akhtar. The film is co-produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar under the banners of Tiger Baby and Excel Entertainment productions. Loosely based on the life of street rappers Divine and Naezy, it stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, and features Kalki Koechlin, Vijay Raaz and Siddhant Chaturvedi in supporting roles. Principal photography for Gully Boy began in January 2018 and wrapped up in April 2018. It premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival on 9 February 2019, and was released theatrically on 14 February 2019 to positive reviews from critics.

Yatra (English: Journey) is an Indian Telugu biographical film, based on the padayatra of Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, who served as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from 2004 to June 2009 representing Indian National Congress. The film produced by Vijay Chilla, Shashi Devi Reddy under 70mm Entertainments and directed by Mahi V. Raghav. It stars Mammootty in the lead role as Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy and music composed by K. Principal photography commenced on 20 June 2018 in Hyderabad. The film was released on 8 February 2019.

Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom (English: A Few Pages Missing in the Middle), also known as NKPK, is a 2012 Indian Tamil language psychological comedy thriller film and the directorial debut for Balaji Tharaneetharan. Featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Gayathrie Shankar in the lead roles, The plot is based on a true story that involves a young man who experiences retrograde amnesia after a cricket incident two days before his wedding. The music and background score of the film are composed by Shankar and Siddarth Vippin respectively. The film released on 30 November 2012 to widely positive reviews from critics. The film was a huge cult hit. It was remade in Telugu as Pusthakamlo Konni Pageelu Missing, in Kannada as Kwatley Satisha, in Malayalam as Medulla Oblangata, in Odia as Suna Pila Tike Screw Dhila and in Gujarati as Shu Thayu?.

Pelli Choopulu (English: Matchmaking) is a 2016 Indian Telugu language, romantic comedy film written and directed by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam and produced by Raj Kandukuri and Yash Rangineni. It features Vijay Deverakonda and Ritu Varma in the lead roles. The film revolves around a boy and a girl who meet during a match-making, how their aspirations brings them together forms the rest of the story. The film was released worldwide on 29 July 2016 to positive reviews from critics and received critical and commercial success. The film provided breakthrough for the film's cast and crew. The film won two National Film Awards for Best Telugu film, and Best Screenplay – Dialogues, two Filmfare Awards, and the SIIMA Award for Best Film. The film was remade in Hindi as Mitron (2018) and in Malayalam as Vijay Superum Pournamiyum (2019).

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga (lit. How I felt when I saw that girl) is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language coming-of-age film directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar. The film is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra under the banner of Vinod Chopra Films, and distributed by Fox Star Studios. It stars Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Sonam Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, and features Akshay Oberoi, Regina Cassandra, Brijendra Kala and Madhumalti Kapoor in supporting roles. The film follows Sweety Chaudhary, a closeted lesbian, and traces her attempts to come out to her religious and traditional Punjabi family. Principal photography for Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga began at Patiala in January 2018. It marked the Bollywood debut of Cassandra, and the first collaboration between real-life father and daughter Anil and Sonam. It was the first mainstream Indian film to deal with a lesbian relationship. The film's title was derived from the song of the same name from 1942: A Love Story (1994). The soundtrack was composed by Rochak Kohli with lyrics written by Gurpreet Saini. Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga was released worldwide on 1 February 2019, and received positive reviews from critics.

Movie review of the Hindi action film Uri: The Surgical Strike starring Vicky Kaushal - by Melanie on Pardesi.
Uri: The Surgical Strike is a 2019 Indian action film written and directed by Aditya Dhar in his debut, and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of RSVP Movies. The film features Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Mohit Raina, and Yami Gautam in lead roles. A dramatised account of the retaliation to the 2016 Uri attack, the film follows Major Vihaan Singh Sherghil of the Indian Army, who plays a leading role in organizing it. Uri was theatrically released on 11 January 2019. Receiving mixed reviews from critics, the film earned a domestic total of ₹35.73 crore during its opening weekend and grossed over ₹200 crore in its first 15 days of the release.

Movie review of the Hindi film Manikarnika: The Queen of the Jhansi starring Kangana Ranaut - by Melanie on Pardesi Reviews.
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is a 2019 Indian epic biographical period drama film based on the life of the Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi. It is directed by Krish and Kangana Ranaut and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain and Nishant Pitti. The film stars Kangana Ranaut in the title role. A special screening of the film was organized by Zee Entertainment for Ram Nath Kovind, the President of India, at Rashtrapati Bhavan, Cultural Centre on 18 January in presence of Kangana Ranaut and her team before release of the film on 25 January 2019. After watching the film the President felicitated the artists and crew of the film. The film was released on 3700 screens in 50 countries worldwide in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on January 25th 2019. The film was received well by the critics and the audiences with praises directed especially towards Ranaut's performance.

Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, the film was officially announced on 20 November 2017 and principal photography began in May 2018. The film was released on 10 January 2019.

Tumbbad is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language period horror film directed by debutant Rahi Anil Barve and co-directed bu Adesh Prasad. Anand Gandhi, best known for the film Ship of Theseus, brought it together as a creative director, co-writer and executive producer. The film is produced by Sohum Shah, Aanand L Rai, Mukesh Shah and Amita Shah under the banners of Colour Yellow Productions and Sohum Shah films LLP. The film stars Sohum Shah in the lead role. Ajay Atul composed the title track of the film while the original score is by BAFTA award winner, Jesper Kyd. The film was critically acclaimed.

Movie review of the Hindi masala action film Simmba starring Ranveer Singh, directed by Rohit Shetty - by Melanie on Pardesi
Simmba (lit. Lion) is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Rohit Shetty and written by Yunus Sajawal and Sajid-Farhad. A spin-off of the Singham franchise, the film was produced by Shetty under his banner Rohit Shetty Picturez and Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner Dharma Productions. It stars Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood, with Ajay Devgn reprising his role of Bajirao Singham. The film follows Sangram "Simmba" Bhalerao, a corrupt police officer hailing from the same town as Singham, who is forced to lead a more righteous path after tragedy strikes those near him. While some action sequences were based on those from the Telugu-language film Temper (2015), the plot of Simmba remained original. It has an estimated production budget of ₹80 crore (US$11 million). Principal photography began in June 2018 with most scenes filmed in Goa and Kolhapur and the remaining filmed at Hyderabad and Mehboob Studios in Mumbai. Shooting was wrapped up by early December in the same year. The film's soundtrack was composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Lijo George - DJ Chetas and S. Thaman, with lyrics written by Shabbir Ahmed, Rashmi Virag, Kumaar and Kunaal Verma. Simmba was released in countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council on 27 December 2018. The film was released in India and other international territories on the following day; it was distributed worldwide by Reliance Entertainment. Earning "mixed to positive" reviews from critics, it became Singh's highest-opening film as of 2018; it earned ₹20.72 crore nett in India on its first day, and went on to gross over ₹100 crore worldwide in its first weekend.

Angamaly Diaries was my top film of all Indian Cinema for 2017. This flashback podcast originally aired on Margaret Redlich's Don't Call It Bollywood podcast in March of 2017 when the movie had first come out. We both loved the film, and did a deep dive discussion of the movie by one of our now favorite directors, Lijo Jose Pellissery. There are many spoilers in this discussion, including the ending. The film is available for streaming on Netflix.
Angamaly Diaries is a 2017 Indian crime drama film directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery and written by Chemban Vinod Jose. The film features 86 debutant actors, with Antony Varghese, Anna Rajan, Kichu Tellus, Ullas Jose Chemban, Vineeth Vishwam, Bitto Davis, Tito Wilson, Sarath Kumar, and Sinoj Varghese playing the main roles. The film is Vijay Babu's first sole production under Friday Film House. The film released on 3 March 2017 to critical acclaim and emerged as a major commercial success.
The story follows Vincent Pepe (Antony Varghese) who wants to be a powerful leader of a righteous gang that will rule the town of Angamaly, like his seniors. The film features an uncut 11-minute long take in the climax featuring around 1000 artists.

Movie review of the 2018 Hindi film Zero, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif - by Melanie on Pardesi.
Zero is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film, written by Himanshu Sharma and directed by Aanand L. Rai. It was jointly produced by Colour Yellow Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment's Gauri Khan, and stars Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. It follows Bauua Singh, a short man from Meerut who, after having difficulty finding a marriage partner, finds a companion in Aafia Bhinder, a NASA scientist with cerebral palsy. However, leading superstar Babita also gets close with him, testing his first relationship. This love triangle takes them to far-off cities, and thrusts Bauua on an adventure to discover both his true love and completeness in a life lived to the fullest. Produced on an budget of ₹200 crore (US$28 million), Zero is Khan's most expensive film. The film was conceived by Rai in 2012, after he was inspired by the superhero genre. Pre-production began in 2016. Initially having a working title of Katrina Meri Jaan, Zero went through numerous title changes before arriving at the final title in early 2018. Principal photography of the film began in Mumbai on May 2017. It marked the last film appearance of Sridevi, who died shortly after completing the film. Filming concluded in 2018 at Orlando. The film's soundtrack is composed by Ajay-Atul with lyrics written by Irshad Kamil, under the label T-Series. It was released on 21 December 2018, to mixed reviews from critics. Critics particularly praised the film's visual effects and the performance of Khan, but the screenplay was criticised for its inconsistency. It earned ₹20.14 crore net in India on its first day.

Movie review of the Kannada film KGF: Chapter 1 starring Yash by Melanie on Pardesi.
K.G.F: Chapter 1 is an Indian Kannada-language action-period drama film set in the Kolar Gold Fields. It was written and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale films. It is the first installment in the two-part series, followed by K.G.F: Chapter 2. The film stars Yash and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles. Production on the film was completed on 15 August 2018. K.G.F: Chapter 1 is scheduled to be released on 21 December 2018. It will be dubbed into Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. In the USA and Canada, the premier release date is 20 December 2018.

The first look of the film was released on India's Independence Day, 15 August 2018.[4] The teaser was released on 17 October 2018. The trailer was released on 9 December 2018. The film is set to release on December 21, 2018. The film will be dubbed in several languages.The film opened to excellent reviews.

Googly is a 2013 Indian Kannada language romantic comedy film directed by Pavan Wadeyar and produced by Jayanna Combines. Yash and Kriti Kharbanda are the lead actors while Ananth Nag and Sadhu Kokila play the primary supporting roles. The film released on 19 July 2013. The film won multiple nominations at the 3rd South Indian International Movie Awards. Having been nominated in 11 categories, the film won SIIMA awards for Best Director (Pavan Wadeyar), Best Cinematographer (Vaidi S.), Best Lyricist (Pavan Wadeyar) and Best Fight Choreographer (Ravi Varma). A sequel of this movie is being directed and named as Googly-2. The movie is being remade in Bengali by Eskay Movies. It became one of the biggest blockbuster Kannada cinema in the year 2013. It has been dubbed in Hindi by same name.

Odiyan is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language fantasy thriller film directed by V. A. Shrikumar Menon; it is his feature-film debut. The film was written by Harikrishnan; it is based on the legend of the Odiyan clan, who in Kerala folklore are men who have shapeshifting abilities and can assume animal forms. Odiyans are said to have inhabited the Malabar region of Kerala before the widespread use of electricity. The film stars Mohanlal in the title role, alongside Prakash Raj and Manju Warrier; it was produced by Antony Perumbavoor through Aashirvad Cinemas. Principal photography began in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, in August 2017. Major parts of the film were shot in Palakkad district, where the story's Thenkurissi village was recreated. Some scenes were filmed in Vagamon, Athirappilly, and Kochi. The film was completed after 145 days of shooting. Sam C. S. composed the film's score, which also features songs composed by M. Jayachandran. Odiyan was released worldwide on 14 December 2018 alongside its dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu languages.

Vanaprastham - The Last Dance (English: Pilgrimage) is a 1999 Indian-French-German co-production Malayalam language drama film directed by Shaji N. Karun. It stars Mohanlal, Suhasini, Mattannur Sankarankutty Marar, Kalamandalam Gopi, and Venmani Haridas. The film's music is composed by Zakir Hussain. The film follows the tale of a lower-caste Kathakali artist Kunhikuttan (Mohanlal) during the 1940s era in Travancore. Subhadra (Suhasini), a member of an aristocratic family, falls in love with the character Arjuna played by Kunhikuttan. She views Kunhikuttan and the character he plays as separate individuals. Their affair eventually leads to the birth of a son, who is hidden away by Subhadra from Kunhikuttan for almost a lifetime. The film premiered at the Un Certain Regard section of the 1999 Cannes Film Festival on May 1999, and was theatrically released in India on December 1999. The film was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the American Film Institute Los Angeles International Film Festival (AFI Fest) in 1999. The film won three awards at the 47th National Film Awards: Best Feature Film Award, Best Actor Award (Mohanlal), and Best Editing Award (A. Sreekar Prasad). IBN Live ranked the film #9 in its list of greatest Indian films of all time. Kedarnath (Hindi pronunciation: [keːdaːɾnaːtʰ]) is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama disaster film written, directed and co-produced by Abhishek Kapoor. Featuring Sushant Singh Rajput and newcomer Sara Ali Khan in lead roles, it tells an inter-faith love story between a wealthy Hindu girl whose family owns a lodge and shops near the historic Kedarnath Temple in the Uttarakhand mountains and a humble Muslim boy who is a 'pithoo' (porter) working in the same vicinity. As their relationship grows closer, the pair face many obstacles, including familial disapproval and contrasting backgrounds; when the sudden rains of the 2013 Uttarakhand floods devastate the region, the couple are forced to survive against the elements and face the ultimate test of their love.
The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala of RSVP Movies and Abhishek Kapoor of Guy in the Sky Pictures, along with Pragya Kapoor and Abhishek Nayyar; it was co-written with Kapoor by Kanika Dhillon. The film's production began in June 2017, and principal photography commenced on 5 September 2017. The film released on 7 December 2018 to mixed reviews, with praise directed towards Khan's debut performance.[

Movie review of the Hindi and Telugu film The Ghaza Attack starring Rana Daggubati. It's currently streaming on Amazon Prime.
The Ghazi Attack (Ghazi in Telugu) is a 2017 Indian war film written, and directed by Sankalp Reddy. The film based on the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi during Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 is shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and dubbed into Tamil. The film stars Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon and Atul Kulkarni The film was released worldwide on 17 February 2017 to positive reviews. The Ghazi Attack is inspired by true events from the Indo-Pakistani war of 1971. The story is about an executive naval officer of the Indian Submarine and his team, who remain underwater for 18 days. The film explores the mysterious circumstances under which submarine PNS Ghazi sank off the coast of Visakhapatnam in 1971. The film is an underwater tale of the courage and patriotism of the men aboard the Indian Submarine INS Karanj which destroyed the Pakistani PNS Ghazi when it ventured into Indian waters to destroy INS Vikrant on the shore of R. K. Beach, Visakhapatnam. Pakistan maintains that PNS Ghazi was destroyed by her own underwater mine. The epilogue indicates that the day after the Ghazi incident, Pakistani fighters bomb Indian airfields, marking the beginning of the 1971 Indo-Pak war for liberation of Bangladesh. At the 65th National Film Awards 2018, the film won the Best Feature Film in Telugu.

Thugs of Hindostan is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language epic action-adventure film, written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, and produced by Aditya Chopra under his banner Yash Raj Films. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Lloyd Owen. Set in 1795, the film follows a band of Thugs led by Khudabaksh Azaad, who aspires to free Hindostan (the Indian subcontinent) from the rule of the expanding British East India Company. Alarmed, British commander John Clive sends a small-time Thug from Awadh, Firangi Mallah, to infiltrate and counter the threat.
Produced on an estimated budget of ₹300 crore (US$42 million), Thugs of Hindostan is the most expensive Bollywood film. Initially titled Thug, the film marked the first time Khan and Bachchan featured together as leads, and was the second collaboration between Khan, Acharya and Kaif, after Dhoom 3 (2013). Principal photography commenced on 5 June 2017 in Malta; the film was also shot in Thailand and Mehrangarh. It was put on a short hiatus after Bachchan was injured on set. Filming concluded in March 2018, the final schedule being completed in Rajasthan. The soundtrack was composed by Ajay-Atul, with lyrics written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
Thugs of Hindostan was released during the week of the Diwali festival, on 8 November 2018.

Murugadoss, co-written by Jeyamohan with music composed by A. R. Rahman, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, edited by Sreekar Prasad and produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures. The film began production in January 2018, and is scheduled to be released in November 2018, coinciding with Diwali.

Baazaar (transl. Market; Hindi pronunciation: [baːzaːɾ]) is a 2018 business crime drama film directed by Gauravv K. Chawla, written by Nikkhil Advani, Aseem Arora and Parveez Sheikh. Starring Saif Ali Khan, debutant Rohan Mehra, Chitrangada Singh and Radhika Apte. The film is set in the backdrop of money, power and business, largely based on the Stock market. The film was released on 26 October 2018.
The Hindi films Karwaan, Dhadak and Sanju all came to streaming services in October. Karwaan and Dhadak are on Amazon Prime, and Sanju came later in the month on Netflix.
These three movie reviews I first posted on my Youtube channel right after I saw the films in the theater. All three are definitely worth a watch. Karwaan is Dulquer Salmaan's Hindi film debut, acting alongside Irrfan Khan. The Dhadak review has some spoilers, but I note when to stop listening if you don't want any spoilers at all. I had to give some spoilers to compare Dhadak to the original Marathi film Sairat, including the ending differences.
